How you see it: MailOnline readers share their pictures of dogs and children frolicking in the snow as the UK is blanketed by the Beast from the East
Heavy snow has forced hundreds of schools to close and caused disruption to travel across Britain. But its also left the UK under a beautiful white coat, as seen in this series of pictures by MailOnline readers.
Many of the pictures have been sent in from Kent, which is one of the areas worst hit by the conditions. However readers have also sent in photos of the snow in Merseyside, Essex, County Durham and Norfolk.
The icy blast overnight has caused misery for morning commuters with scores of trains cancelled. But its good news for children who have the day off from more than 500 schools across England and Wales.
