Liverpool are set to offer their striker Roberto Firmino bumper new contract to
extend this stand and field according to recent reports the Reds could be
preparing to tie him upon a new-and-improved long term that will
extend this stay beyond the summer of 2020 going by recent form the Brazilian
forward is on par with the most formidable number nines in European
football he is skillful clinical and relentless which makes him one of the
most potent strikers in world football it is believed that the Reds are
currently in negotiations to give him an improved contract to prolong his stay in
Merseyside Firmino is a member of Liverpool front three which has been in
devastating form of late and are currently topping the charts with
regards to goals scored by a front three in the top five leagues in European
football the Brazilian has become a fan favourite after scoring a few NOLA goals
while his unique goal celebrations have been something that has sent the Kop to
go wild during this campaign his work rate is second to none which is why it
is no wonder that the Merseyside outfit are looking to tie him upon a new deal
the Reds are currently occupying third place in the Premier League table after

the coming years the likes of Firmino Mohamed Salah and Sadio main have
already shown how good they can be under Jurgen Klopp this season so it only
makes sense for Liverpool to retain their services for the long-run fear
Mino has featured in 38 matches for the Reds this season scoring 22 goals while
providing 12 assists in all competitions at 26 the Brazilian has his peak years
ahead of him which Liverpool could look to utilise in the coming seasons as they
look to mountain a realist title challenge in the top tier of
English football it remains to be seen what lies ahead in the future of Firmino
and whether he ends up committing his long-term future to the revs

[OSEN=오키나와, 한용섭 기자] 메이저리그나 마이너리그의 훈련 캠프는 그라운드가 보통 4개 이상 모여있다
전체 선수들이 짧은 시간에 알찬 훈련이 가능하다
한가운데 전망대가 있어 감독은 전망대에 올라가 모든 선수들의 움직임을 체크한다
일본 오키나와 캠프는 대부분 메인 야구장과 보조 그라운드, 불펜, 실내 연습장으로 구성돼 있다
LG의 오키나아와 캠프에서 류중일 감독이 자주 찾는 곳이 있다
수비 포메이션이나 시뮬레이션 훈련을 하는 메인 야구장에서 주로 지켜보다가 보조 그라운드에서 실시하 내야 펑고 훈련은 빠지지 않고 찾는다
1일 오키나와 우루마시의 이시카와구장
보조 그라운드에선 3루수 가르시아, 유격수 장준원, 2루수 강승호, 1루수 김재율이 펑고를 받고 었다
박종호 수비코치가 선수별로 한 개씩 번갈아 쳤고, 류중일 감독은 2루 베이스 뒤에서 유심히 지켜봤
명유격수 출신인 류 감독은 2루수 강승호의 송구가 끝날 때마다 다가가, 직접 손동작으로 글러브에서 을 빼 스텝 후 송구하는 동작을 보여주면서 조언했다
수 차례 시범 동작을 보여줬고, 강승호는 고개를 끄덕인 후 펑고 훈련을 계속했다
LG 내야는 외국인 타자 가르시아가 뛰는 3루수를 제외하곤 주전 경쟁 중이다
2루는 강승호와 박지규, 오지환이 캠프에 참가하지 못한 유격수 자리에는 장준원과 백승현, 1루 자 에는 양석환, 김재율, 김용의 등이 있다
류 감독은 "포지션마다 경쟁하는 선수들이 비슷비슷하다
하루는 이 선수가 조금 좋아보였다가 다음 날에는 저 선수가 좋아보인다
우열을 가리기 힘들다"고 말했다. 연습경기와 시범경기까지 공평한 출장 기회를 줘서 실력의 우위를 켜보겠단다
LG는 1일 오전에는 훈련을 하고 오후 일정을 훈련에서 청백전을 하기로 바꿨다
한 번이라도 더 실전 경기를 통해 선수들의 기량을 점검하겠다는 의도다
