The Gaines family is growing again!

Chip and Joanna Gaines announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their fifth child.

The Fixer Upper stars shared the good news via Instagram with an adorable photo that

showcased both mom and dad's "bumps" under their forest green tops.

The Texas natives are already parents to two sons, 12-year-old Drake and 9-year-old Duke,

and two daughters, 11-year-old Ella and 7-year-old Emmie Kay.

The soon-to-be Gaines won't be the only little one running around Waco!

Joanna's younger sister, Mary Kay McCall -- whose home renovation was featured on Tuesday night's

episode of Fixer Upper -- is expecting her sixth child as well.

Chip and Joanna announced in September that they would be ending their extremely popular

HGTV show after its fifth season, in part to spend more time with their kids.

One month later, they told ET that it was not because Joanna was pregnant, however.

"There's so many [rumors], even leading up to it -- I had this skincare line, so I'm

leaving.

It made it look like I was doing my own thing and Chip didn't even know about it.

That was just a big rumor," Joanna told ET's Kevin Frazier.

"That our marriage is on the rocks...

I was pregnant.

It's funny when you start hearing this stuff.

I was like, 'I guess people can just make stuff up.'"

According to Chip's possibly TMI tweet after both the Instagram post and the pregnancy

reveal on Tuesday's episode of Fixer Upper, the fifth-time parents-to-be may not have

known they were pregnant when they spoke to ET back in mid-October.

According to Chip's social media post, their fifth pregnancy can be traced back to JOHNNYSWIM's

Oct. 12 concert in Waco.

Now that Joanna is pregnant, it looks like they'll have a brand-new production to look

forward to in the new year.

Congratulations, Chip and Joanna!

Thank you for watching.

Learn English With The News l 3D Mapping - Duration: 2:57.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Comfortable English.

My name is Sarah Comfort, and I am so happy to have you here for another "Learn English

With The News" lesson.

In this lesson, I guide you through a news article using questions.

I ask, "who..."

I ask "why..."

I ask "what..."

All of these questions guide you through the entire article and if you are able to answer

all of my questions, you will have successfully understood the entire article.

Reading the news in a foreign language is so helpful for you as a language learner because

it exposes you to new grammar and new vocabulary.

I know that when you first start reading in a foreign language, it may be really hard,

but that's OK!

The more that you practice reading in a foreign language, the easier it will become.

So for today's lesson, I will give you six questions that will guide you through this

article.

On my blog, I have these questions listed, as well as a full transcript of today's lesson,

and my answers to these questions.

As you go through the article, write down your answers, and then to check yourself,

go to my blog, which I will link for you, and check your answers there.

So, let's get to the questions!

How many square kilometers is England?

What does LIDAR mean?Presently, how much of the country has been mapped?

Who is the chief executive of the Environmental Agency?

In your own words, list two ways that the data from 3D mapping can be used.

What do laser scanners measure?

And those are today's questions!

So do be sure to read the article after you watch this video and go through and write

down your answers to these questions, then head over to my blog to check your answers.

If you don't get all of the answers to these questions, don't worry!

This exercise is hard, but I promise that the more you do it, the easier it will become.

If you'd like, leave your answers in the comments below, I'd love to know what you thought of

the article, and what your answers to these questions are.

Thank you so much for watching.

I hope you enjoyed this lesson!

Please be sure to give it a big thumbs up if you learned something today and I will

see you later.

Bye!

u.s. claims it's not doing enough to fight terrorism as washington pulls a quarter of

a billion dollars of aid. and closing the door on open borders countries in europe shang

korea says it will reopen communications inside the demilitarized zone with south korea the

gesture is a prelude to talks scheduled for tuesday between the two rivals. north korea's

leader kim jong un has given an order to open the panmunjom hotline between the north and

south from three pm on january third to contact south korea regarding the right time for talks

and sending a delegation to the peeling chuang winter olympics. we need to keep back in south

korea's government welcomes north korea's response to yesterday's offer to restore the

public communication channel who would discuss practical affairs regarding yesterday's offer

to hold south and north korea talks. graham on webb is a research fellow at the rajaratnam

school of international studies in singapore joins us live from there good to have you

with us so first of all do you see this as a new beginning in relations between the south

and north potentially. possibly i think there's a lot of hawk in the ear of the new foreign

hawk is a warranted one because we've had a very difficult year and twenty seventy with

no regulus not being from the north koreans of any offering of olive branch or sorry towards

the other side and now we've seen a letting up until things have happened very quickly

and clearly boresight are

trying to capitalize on europe on the opportunity to try and set up the best possible stage

in order for them to talk to each other but does any of this mean that there will be negotiations

or the north will be willing to compromise on its nuclear weapons program very unlikely

i think we need to have a very modest expectation of what's in store for the upcoming dialogue

next week it's going to be very focused very narrow and very mediocre so to speak centered

around north korea's intention to send an athletic delegation to the twenty eight in

winter games in february and i think that is a modest yet law hanging fruit that both

sides should true on right now if they can get that right i'm quite certain that they

can get the bigger things right along the way so this is really a moment to sort of

secure this foothold talking to each other agreeing on something and getting something

tangible done which is has dividends on cultural on

a cultural social level between will science some analysts have said north korea's intention

in doing all of this is simply to drive a wedge between south korea and the us any sign

do you see that that might actually happen that maybe divergence between the policies

of the us and the south koreans. i think is that there's a grand design behind kim jong

un's. publication of initiatives toward ceasar i think it's it is quite clear that he is

trying to drive a wedge between board sites what he is very likely trying to do is to

soften the south and to. cleave off the solve south korea from the americans. really because

it is still foreseeable that north korea will want to carry on testing its nuclear weapons

development program is still unfinished despite what

kim jong un has said previous the completeness of that program and i think they will want

to have the south koreans are on their side in order to sort of provide an apology or

sorts should north korea resume testing and to buttress any prospect of preemption from

the americans you said earlier that if all goes well at this stage they could move on

to bigger things i simply mean the nuclear issue what would the starting point be for

negotiations were would it be where they were you know years ago the idea of completely

shutting down nuclear activities in return for food. well this is where things get very

difficult and once again are all of us serving the course of events have to manage our expectations

i think i think south korea despite holding on to its firm position and hope of didn't

do it didn't arise the asian is quite pragmatic regarding the fact that north korea is

most unlikely to denuclearize its anytime in the future that it's going to hold on to

its nuclear weapons and i think the next best thing that one can sort of focus on is to

control the political nuclear weapons from the north having crossed the threshold so

i think the the the content of the of any in soon conversations between or not in the

south is going to be quite different going forward it's going to be about crazy it's

really about arms control and trying to get north korea to behave itself and not to play

for it and build an excessive nuclear arsenal or i got to get your thoughts on that graham

on web of the u.s. president dan trump is threatening to cut aid to the palestinian

authority saying it's no longer willing to talk peace last month he angered palestinians

by recognizing jerusalem as israel's capital trump tweeted that the u.s. pays millions

of dollars of aid to the palestinian authority but gets no respect he

suggested cutting off future payments because it's been no peace talks with israel . and

washington is also threatening to cut off funding to the u.n. agency helping palestinian

refugees according to the united nations relief and works agency more than one point five

million people live in fifty eight recognized palestinian refugee camps in jordan lebanon

the gaza strip and why spanking clued in occupied east jerusalem with the us is one of the main

contributors to the un's relief agency for palestinian refugees the agency runs education

health and social programs and gave almost three hundred seventy million dollars in two

thousand and sixteen washington donates almost thirty percent of its overall funding to the

un's relief agency the u.s. says it intends to withhold more than two hundred fifty million

dollars of aid to pakistan the decision comes after the u.s. president again accused the

country of being a safe haven for terrorists rather than jordan has more from washington

d.c.

. the u.s. president doll tromped used his first tweet of two thousand and eighteen to

attack the pakistani government accuse the pakistanis of not doing enough to crack down

on groups such as the hunt khan the network or the talabani say these groups are destabilizing

not just pockets but also afghanistan to the west on tuesday the u.s. ambassador to the

united nations nikki haley made it plain that the u.s. president simply wasn't tweeting

eldred her in her words nikki haley said there are real concerns with what is a lot of bodies

dealing to fight but the u.s. calls terrorism pakistan had played a double game for years

they work with us at times and they also harbored a terrorist attack our troops in afghanistan

that game is not acceptable to this administration we expect far more cooperation from pakistan

in the fight against

terrorism in addition the state department spokesperson heather nauert told reporters

on tuesday that pakistan knows what it needs to do in order to make the region safer and

she said without going into too many details that it definitely means trying to crack down

on these groups that are doing stabilizing the region and she said that islamic bonds

complaints simply aren't going anywhere now pakistan is rejecting the u.s. on a geisha

as its envoy to the un told al jazeera we have contributed and sacrificed the most in

fighting international terrorism and carried out the largest counterterrorism operation

anywhere in the world us spokes persons should not shift the blame for their own mistakes

and failures on to all those. well they went on to say pakistan's cooperation is not based

on any consideration of aid but on our national interests and principles was offered just

palace an analyst on pakistan a professor of international relations at the university

joins us live from

islamabad good to have you with us first of all how this kind of two hundred fifty five

million dollars one hundred million dollars impact the pakistani military because it's

military aid. i think it will be going to affect. operation against the terrorists which

are you can see hiding on both side of the park started of understand bordeaux apart

from that it's really not having a direct impact on the pakistani armed forces because

this fund is meant for battle is that what we call it legion support for and so definitely

it has an impact on the war on terrorism exercises with pakistan is conducting in the meanwhile

the military operations will pakistan always seeing a trend already some might say with

the action taken yesterday against. links charities where we see more indications perhaps

of islamabad trying to take steps

to appease washington's concerns even despite the public sort of rhetoric defiant rhetoric

from islamabad. i think that i guess half of save them and then is organization whatever

the park star has been taking the action it out of very much consideration of pakistan's

own internal security it has nothing to do to appease united states ought to appease

india higher but it will be having a soothing impact on the americans but the americans

are not asking about the hospice practically they are asking about the how can you network

with pakistan is denying that carly network i mean the from the taliban fighting all good

that it does not possess any safe haven in pakistan because since yesterday our before

yesterday if you see pakistan has once again to be treated is that there is no see if i

haven't thought of anyone as i understand that so my question is despite that sort of

public position will we see pakistan perhaps try and take steps whether

it's against the how can the network or the taliban i'm sure you're aware of the well

publicized claims of links between the pakistani intelligence service i.s.i. and some of those

groups my mentions. let me here submit that since one year buck standard americans perception

on the mortalities on of understand have been working americans have been alleging or they

were asking about do more in pakistan know became frustrated all you can see start saying

no more we have to not forget here it's not only a one star carly network there are bigger

game which we call it alignment in the international politics and pakistan is drifting towards

euro ition alliances like china and that is not acceptable to the american if you recall

two thousand same two national security strategy which was released by the driver in a speech

on the agent december two thousand same thing that indie kids balance of

power would that indicate stand as a period of skewed to complete data whereas pakistan

is against trenton i think that since one year pakistan has been preparing to respond

or to build this kind of a burden that's why in pakistan if you see public uproar it is

one side but on the other side of the garment the armed forces are under pressure because

no one was willing to go home and is likely to turn in because of peace america pakistan

still receives hundreds of millions of dollars of aid from the u.s. although there's been

this cut do you see a situation which pakistan could completely shift its alliances and dependency

on other countries. i think that it has been already shifted but stance economic dependencies

on the other countries because they have no more providing substantial economic aid whatever

they were providing pakistani government stances that they were providing as a call your sport

fund here we do not forget americans they're using box start as

a transit they're using pakistan's road network they're using pakistan to relive a network

they were using pakistan's port and now the pakistanis are taking a public has a big demand

that there's a need to share the details of this fun and it is what we have charged them

because we were not given charging them anything else good to get your analysis on that is

often just. still ahead on al-jazeera. we don't get ahead of sanctions but that is one

tool kit. the u.s. considers action against iran for its handling of antigovernment protests

and the daily struggles of people in gaza told through cartoon characters.

hello and welcome to international weather forecast now we've seen one out to weather

system working its way across france there's another one which is going to be steaming

through in the course of choose the night into wednesday across the u.k. through into

the north sea and then across northern parts of france into germany so some very severe

weather made worse by the fact we've got spring high tides could well be some coastal inundation

here and then we've got mild weather returning on thursday terms a fourteen in paris so that's

going to have some implications up over the alps or snow as temperatures really start

to rise further towards the east looking relatively quiet here five and rather greying hair in

ukraine for the north we've got some snow there up into parts of scandinavia on the

other side of the mediterranean thing point interesting a strong wind coming in from the

northwest so for tunisia down through libya some strong winds extending through right

down to the south and away across parts of chad nissho to a more eastern areas we've

got unsettled weather conditions here some showers developing and temperatures of just

eighteen in cairo central parts of africa

cherry quite quiet showers from the bond southwards much of west africa dry and fine those are

heading towards the far south of africa there's a storm development taking place towards madagascar

could be some very heavy rain here. the fraternity.

will come back you're watching al-jazeera time to recap our headlines for the first

time in almost a year north korea says it will reopen communications inside the demilitarized

zone with south korea gesture as a prelude to talks scheduled for tuesday between the

two rivals washington is threatening to cut off funding to the u.n. agency helping palestinian

refugees on twitter president dan trump said the u.s. received no appreciation or respects

in return for its aid. the u.s. says it intends to withhold more than two hundred fifty million

dollars of aid to pakistan follows president trumps accusation the country is a safe haven

for terrorists like stan says the u.s. should not shift the blame for its own mistakes and

security failures. meanwhile

the u.s. has called for an emergency session of the u.n. security council to discuss the

protests in iran the iranian supreme leader has blamed external enemies for six days of

violence in which twenty one protesters and a police officer have dived now we're looking

at pictures coming in from various parts of iran what we're looking at right now is the

images being put forward by the government of pro government demonstrations these are

demonstrators coming out to express their support for the government and the system

of government their big security operation is still in force in several cities where

there are anti-government protests though mike hanna has the latest from u.n. headquarters

in new york. ambassador nikki haley called a briefing to outline u.s. priorities at the

united nations in this new year and top of her list the situation

in iran if the arraign in dictatorships history is any guide we can expect more outrageous

abuses in the days to come the un must speak out in the days ahead we will be calling for

an emergency session both here in new york and at the human rights council in geneva

we must not be silent the people of iran are crying out for freedom our freedom loving

people must stand with their cars this echoing sentiments expressed by president trump earlier

who said in a tweet the people of iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt

iranian regime all of the money that president obama so foolishly gave them went into terrorism

and into their pockets the people have little food big inflation and no human rights the

us is watching. this little evidence in the streets of tehran of the turmoil evident in

some other parts of the country but there are deep

concerns expressed about the rise in food prices. and drop in employment i mean john

the car i'm working but in this society i'm always stressed about the possibility of getting

fired the next day always being worried about my job my family the security of my family

the main problems people are grappling with are their security the economy and their livelihood

ammonia das and there are some who are poor and cannot make ends meet what should they

do life is really difficult we have tenants i have a daughter and some both at school

the high prices that really put me under pressure at home iran's supreme leader has broken his

silence on the protests accusing iran's enemies of responsibility montazeri accords the enemy

is waiting for an opportunity for a crack three which it can infiltrate to look at the

recent events all those who are at odds with the islamic republic have used various means

including money weapons politics and intelligence apparatus to create problems for the islamic

system the islamic republic and the islamic revolution. news agency portage reveals ongoing

protest in a number of regions hundreds are reported to be in arrested and demonstrators

continue to defy an attempted government blackout of social media back at the united nations

the new president of the security council has confirmed the u.s. has been in contact

and discussions are ongoing but it's not clear at this stage whether the u.s. appetite for

a formal meeting is shared by the wrist of security council members some may be reluctant

to intervene in what they would regard as an internal domestic dispute my kind of al-jazeera

united nations now the u.s. state department says it's considering further action against

iran due to the unrest. we don't get ahead of sanctions but that is one tool kit

a couple things that we have in a very bright and wide toolkit so there are a range of options

that we certainly have going forward and that's why i say we are watching reports very carefully

of any potential human rights abuses of these protesters who are protesting peacefully iran's

foreign minister is hit back at president transfer remarks telling the u.s. to stay

out of iran's affairs. tweeted iran's security and stability depends on its own people who

are like the peoples of trans regional b f f saw best friends forever have the right

to vote and to protest these hard earned rights will be protected and if the traitors will

not be allowed to sabotage them through violence and destruction israel has given illegal african

immigrants three months to leave the country or face imprisonment those who leave during

that period will be given plane tickets and three and a half thousand dollars rights groups

Paris Hilton Engaged to Chris Zylka- USA Hot News - Duration: 2:31.

Reality TV show star and heiress Paris Hilton has announced her engagement to her actor

boyfriend Chris Zylka, sharing some romantic photos of the snowy proposal on Twitter and

Instagram.

Paris showed off her dazzling – and huge – diamond engagement ring as she kissed

her beau in one snap.

The couple were enjoying a ski break in Aspen, Colorado over the weekend.

"I said Yas!"

Paris, 36, wrote.

"So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life.

My best friend & soulmate.

Perfect for me in every way.

So dedicated, loyal, loving & kind-hearted.

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

You are my dream come true!

Thank you for showing me that fairy tales do exist", the heiress wrote on social media.

Paris also wrote in another tweet: "I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my

life and my best friend.

I have never felt so happy, safe and loved."

The sweet photos showed Chris on bended knee as he asked his girlfriend the all-important

question.

The couple were then pictured kissing and embracing as the sun set in the background.

Paris first met Chris, best known for starring in The Leftovers, eight years ago at an Oscars

party.

The pair didn't reconnect until two years ago and only confirmed their romance last

February, with Paris taking to Instagram to share a photo with her "love" on her birthday.

Chris told People: "Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out.

I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl.

I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."

Last year, Chris also showed his dedication to his future wife by tattooing her name on

his arm.
