As an Oscar-winning actress, Alicia Vikander is used to being the centre of attention. But tonight the Swedish star was left in the shadows as the Duchess of Cambridge stole the spotlight at a royal black tie dinner.
Vikander, 29, was among the high-profile guests at a dinner honouring the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the home of the British Ambassador in Stockholm on Tuesday night.
Kate, 36, opted for a silk Erdem oriental-inspired gown, while the actress, who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2015, cut a more low-key figure in a cobalt-blue custom Louis Vuitton dress.
