Chelsea news: Batshuayi to complete Dortmund deal and pave way for Aubameyang's Arsenal move

MICHY BATSHUAYI is on his way to Borussia Dortmund on loan - paving the way for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangs transfer to Arsenal, according to reports.

The Bundesliga side were willing to let Gabon hitman Aubameyang join the struggling Gunners if they could land a replacement in time.

  Michy Batshuayi is set to complete his Borussia Dortmund switch.

And it appears the deal for Batshuayi has been given the green light according to reports in Belgium.

The striker reportedly failed to join up with the Chelsea squad last night ahead of tonights Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

The 24-year-old will head to Germany today to complete his medical and agree personal terms ahead of a loan move.

Chelsea in the meantime will land Olivier Giroud to complete a transfer merry-go-round of strikers.

  Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will now complete his move to the Gunners.

  Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud looks set to take Batshuayis place at Chelsea.

It remains unclear whether Dortmund will have the option to sign Batshuayi on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Arsenal dropped a major blunder last night when they appeared to confirm Aubameyangs arrival on their own website.

The brief clip sees an interviewer ask Wenger: Aubameyang is an Arsenal player, you must be delighted to get the deal done?.

The French boss, speaking after the 3-1 Swansea defeat, replies: Yes, its good news.

Aubameyangs move will cost Arsenal around £55million.

Good morning Cave Spring High School and welcome to today's edition of the Day & Knight News.

Here's what's happening at Cave Spring.

There will be a Valentine's Dance on February 3rd from 8 to midnight in the CSHS Main Gym.

Tickets are $5 and will be on sale at lunch from January 29th to February 2nd.

If you have any questions or are bringing a date from another school, please see Mrs.

Taylor in room 113.

The SCA is doing a collection of soups through February 2nd for Soup for Seniors, which is

associated with Meals on Wheels.

Please bring any donations to Mrs. Taylor in room 113.

Chess Club will be having our first meeting after school on Thursday, February 1st for

approximately one hour in Room 126A (inside the library).

During the meeting we will discuss dues, get to know one another, and engage in one of

history's classic brain battles.

Those interested are encouraged to bring their own chess set that day just to ensure that

we have enough for all to play.
