Greetings Carderock team, this is your Carderock news update.
I'm your host Tariq Al-Agba.
Last week, Captain Vandroff and Dr. Shang held several All-Hands meetings.
The meetings also included the mandatory active shooter training.
For those of you who missed the meetings, Captain Vandroff is very interested in re-paving
the tennis courts.
Are you new to Carderock and interested in learning the ins and outs of your new command?
On Wednesday, we will be hosting Carderock 101 training.
The training is open to all Carderock employees and is an opportunity to gain a better understanding
of the Carderock mission and how each department supports that mission.
You are also welcome to join a 45-minute tour of the base immediately following the training.
Also on Wednesday, James Harrison will host another exciting brown bag lunch titled "Let's
Do An Experiment!"
This presentation will cover the history of the Navy's experimental ships.
This Friday is the deadline to submit applications for leadership development programs.
Information about the programs is on Sharepoint and if you have additional questions contact
Stephannie Glover.
Next Monday will be another brown-bag focused on high velocity learning.
Dr. Tom Marino will present "Executing your HVL Strategy" and Lauren Hanyok will present
"High-Performing Team Building Using Wiki."
For more information on these events and others, check out your weekly edition of wavelets,
which can be found on the intranet or in-fusion.
This has been your Carderock news update.
Thank you for watching.
