Waching daily Oct 29 2017

Hey gamers!

Gian here, host of VGATW.

You know, it's not very surprising on how Konami continues to dig it's own grave.

I remember that with the cancellation of Silent Hills as well as Hideo Kojima's departure

from the company as well as Konami preventing him from assisting the Video Game Awards of

2015 and going from gaming consoles to adding it's best titles like Contra, Metal Gear Solid,

and Castlevania to pachinko slots.

Although we got Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Now, this game Metal Gear Survive is Konami's latest title that drifts away from the Tactical

Espionage Action game that made the franchise one of the most universally acclaimed game

series of all time.

At Tokyo Game Show (TGS) in September 2016, a demo revealed that the Fulton Cannon will

make an appearance, that the player can optionally retrieve the creatures for resource building,

they can acquire resource building, that they can heal themselves on the main menu, and

that the player can develop various things from collected resources, from defensive measures

to offensive measures.

The players can also split up.

During a stage presentation at TGS 2016, Hideo Kojima was asked if he had anything to do

with Metal Gear Survive.

He stated that the game had "nothing to do with [him]," the Metal Gear series is about

"political fiction and espionage," and zombies do not fit into his vision of the series.

Yoji Shinkawa also stated that he was not involved with the game.

He jokingly said that Metal Gear Survive would have mechs if he worked on it.

This one is a zombie killing survival action-adventure game set in an open world environment and

played from a third-person perspective.

It also features cooperative multiplayer mode, in which the player can be joined by up to

three other players to explore the game's world and to complete missions.

It can also be played solo, in which the player will be accompanied by three AI teammates,

which the player can give orders to.

And now, here's the latest ladies and gentlemen.

Metal Gear Survive will require an Internet connection in order to take part in the zombie-slaying,

a move that\rquote ll likely alienate even more Metal Gear players amid an already controversial

launch.

Man, it seems that this game will be a major disappointment since of course Kojima is the

one that turned the series into an icon.

Another thing is that The official game page for Metal Gear Survive is now up for gamers

to peruse, but navigating to the "Products" section of the site where it will soon be

available for preorder will lead you to a troubling detail about the game's requirements.

An asterisk beneath the potential number of players indicated that an Internet connection

would be required to play the game with no mention of that restriction being exclusive

to online play.

A PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscription are also required for online play on the respective

platforms.

Requiring Internet to play a game isn't something that's exclusive to Metal Gear Survive or

a new idea, but it's a decision that often doesn't go over well with those who want the

freedom to play their games offline if the need arises.

The game is scheduled to arrive on February 20th of next year.

Man, I gotta say I am already disappointed in this.

As a Metal Gear fan since the summer of 1999, this is something that I refuse to play since

not only it requires Internet, but also because it gets away from the vision of Kojima.

Metal Gear Solid is not just an espionage game but also a political fiction.

As a gamer I will never forget the good days of Konami with games like Contra, Castlevania,

Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games and tons of other great

titles like Suikoden as well.

Anyway folks, I'm sure you want to express some disappointment at this and if you approve,

that's fine I'm not gonna stop you from doing so.

So just don't forget to comment, share, subscribe and rate.

This is Gian, host of VGATW, have a Happy Halloween.

Man Utd News: Mourinho hits out at fans, Neville on Martial, De Gea exclusive

Jose Mourinho has told the Manchester United fans to keep their cool. Sections of the Old Trafford faithful booed during the Red Devils' 1-0 win against Tottenham yesterday when Marcus Rashford was replaced by Anthony Martial.

And Mourinho, who put a finger to his lips at the final whistle, says United's boo-boys need to keep quiet. He said: "I really don't understand some reactions.

Why? Are they Red Devils? Some people speak too much. Relax a little bit. Relax. Don't be too excited.". "Gary Neville says there's something wrong with Man Utd star Anthony Martial" Gary Neville says there's something wrong with United star Martial.

The France winger netted the winner against Spurs yesterday but Neville says Martial isn't playing to his full potential. Its been a stop-start Manchester United career for Martial, he said.

For someone of his talent, he should be tearing this league apart with his ability. Hes lost his place in the France squad - theres obviously something wrong with him.

Mourinho and the French manager has turned off of him a little bit. You always get the feeling hes playing at 85 per cent. If he showed that extra 15 per cent, then he could do anything..

David De Gea is waiting to hear when he'll get a bumper new contract at Old Trafford, Starsport can exclusively reveal.

The United goalkeeper, 26, has two years left on his present £190,000-a-week deal and his camp had received encouraging early signals during the summer about fresh talks.

United believe Real Madrid have finally ended their interest in the Spanish shot stopper, which may have slowed down the negotiations.

England news: Eddie Jones asks Lions players how to beat New Zealand - Duration: 4:20.

England news: Eddie Jones asks Lions players how to beat New Zealand

Jones asked each of the 15 England players that Warren Gatland took to New Zealand to write a detailed report on their experiences during the drawn series in the summer.

And he will now use it to narrow the gap between England and the All Blacks who are the only team ahead of them in the World Rugby rankings.

Jones will however have to wait a year to put what he his players have told him into practice as the two nations aren't due to meet until November 10, 2018.

"We got the players to write reviews of the Lions, from a learning point of view - what they learned about how to prepare for big Test matches, what they learned about the Kiwis.  "Some of it was outstanding.

That has been really important. Again we listened to the players. "It was all about coaching, physical preparation, tactical preparation, the psyche of New Zealand, what they found out, what players they felt could be flustered.

"And how they would get at them. Really good detailed stuff, the players thought about it a lot.

And it becomes a dossier that is important for us going forward. "We have definitely narrowed the gap because it was bigger than 20 per cent better than us," said Jones.

Meanwhile Jones says that he will order his forwards to rip into Wales during a no-holds barred set-piece training session in Bristol next Monday.

Jones is again thinking outside of the box as he looks to get his side ready to beat the All Blacks which they are likely to need to do if they want to win the 2019 World Cup.

The session will be a game of scrums and line outs and will be refereed by Nigel Owens and Jones will tell his forwards not to hold anything back.

Normally coaches go to extraordinary lengths to keep their training methods and tactics top secret and England have used security screens and security guards patrolling.

But that is all about to change with Jones throwing his doors open and welcoming in their fiercest international rivals for the revolutionary session.

"Steve Borthwick, Neal Hatley and I were thinking about 'right, how can we take this onto the next level?' Scrum against a better team.

Who's got a good scrum, who's close to us? "We thought about Georgia but it's a bit far to go to Tbilisi for a day.

So then Steve gave Warren (Gatland) a ring to see whether he was up for the idea.  "Warren was keen. It will be brilliant, exactly what we need.

New Zealand have got the best scrum in the world and we haven't.  "We've got to scrum against sides that are better than us.

You can't improve scrummaging against each other, the players get stale scrumming against the same people all the time. What we do know were going to have a good contest and there will be a bit of feeling in it.

Its going to mean something!.
