Hi! It's "Girl With Heart" Lindsey,
and I'm going to tell you about my "thing" - performing.
My favorite step is Pas de Bourree.
I learned it when I first joined show choir,
because it is a show choir essential.
Here is how to do a Pas de Bourree.
So, first thing's first, you're going to take this foot,
and you're just going to put it behind like that,
so, like, across the back.
And then, you're just going to step out with this foot.
So, like, that.
Then you're going to stomp with this foot.
So, let's do it again, but just a little bit faster.
Back, out, step.
And then, also, you can do it on the other side.
It's basically the same thing, just opposite.
You're going to go back with this foot, step out, step.
Let's do it again.
Back, out, step.
You can also add the hands if you'd like.
So, what you do, is when you cross back,
you're going to get your arms ready and prep,
and then, out-step, and then you're just going to basically
when you step on this foot again,
you're just going to let em down.
So, prep, down, prep, down,
prep, down, prep, down, like so.
Now, if you want to get really fancy,
you can add some more fun things to the end of it.
Now, that is how you do a Pas de Bourree, Pas de Bouree.
One of the most important things theater has taught me
is to be a team player.
My friend and I might be up for the same role,
and I only one person can get it,
and I know to be happy for the other person
if they're the one that ends up getting it, and not me.
Thanks for watching and learning how to do a Pas de Bourree!
