Hey Travelers!
Welcome one more day to my channel!
Today I took you to see the Palace of Vaux-Le-Vicomte
Let's go!!
Hey Travelers I'm gonna tell you my experience in the Palace of Vaux-Le-Vicomte
Firstly, I'm gonna tell you why I came here.
When I was preparing my trip I wanted to visit one of the palaces that are in France.
I've already been in the Palace of Chambord from the outside
and it is amazing!!
And the other time I came I went to Versailles.
My first idea when I was preparing the trip was to go to Versailles, of course
cause it is the most famous and know.
I saw that you have to queue for a lot of hours to buy the ticket and to go through the security check
moreover, there was gonna be a lot of people, it was gonna be hot and it was gonna be very crowded.
Instead, I saw a video of Alan por el Mundo, that I leave you in the tags to check it
and I found this palace that is little known or rather little visited.
I saw it was perfect to visit on a day because it is only 1h away from Paris,
you have to take the train and then the palace bus that takes you to the entrance.
The palace from inside is amazing!!
All the rooms are decorated with real furniture from the XVII century
There are a lot of details, tapestry, paintings and decorative piece that are incredible!!!
The Palace was built by Nicolas Fouquet in 1641 and after several owners, now it belongs to the Patrice de Vogue Count.
When I was visiting it there were a couple of school trips
and one of the classes was dressed up like in old times, that you can rent the costumes in the entrance
and other of the classes of children of 6 years old
it was incredible to see them cause they were amazed every time they entered a room
and they were all the time "incredible, incredible!"
So it was pretty funny to see them!
The palace has a lot of rooms like bedrooms, dance hall, the dining room,...
You can even visit the kitchen and the bathroom!
During WWI the owners offer the palace as a hospital for injured and even the daughters worked here as nurses.
Oh! Lunch is ready!
After visiting the palace, you finished in the garden that are incredible
with 3 hectares of gardens, forest, pools, fountains, statues,...
They are amazing!!!
The ideal is to walk around the gardens but there are two routes that you can do
one of 2.5h and other shorter to see them all
and you can even rent a golf cart if you feel a bit lazy...
The truth is that with this heat, it makes you want to get into the water!!
Let's go till the end of the gardens!
The statue of Hercules was erected in 1891 and symbolized the strength and moral of N. Fouquet. It is covered by gold and measures 8.5m tall!
I keep walking through the gardens and OMG, it is so hot...
thankfully, I have found some shade
and I just need to found a fountain with water cause I'm sooo thirsty...
But this is so beautiful so it is totally worthwhile!!
The entrance includes the visit to the palace, the gardens and the carriage museum!
This is the Lamborghini of that time!
To be honest, inside it feels so nice.
Practically I was alone in most of the rooms or 2-3 people maximum
and it feel so fresh for this days of hot weather!
In general my experience has been great!!! I really loved it, the decorations, the pieces, the gardens,...
even the weather was great to visit it!
Although I was a small complaint, some of the signals where only in French, so you can understand it
and the videos too..
But in general it has been incredible!!! Very recommended and I hope you come!!
