Waching daily Mar 29 2018

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.

No Flippy Stuff WrestleMania weekend won't just see WWE,

Ring of Honor, Lucha Underground and Impact run events in New Orleans; scores of independent

promotions will also descend on the town to showcase a variety of different styles and

ways to anger Jim Cornette.

In total, there will be over 50 wrestling-related events between Thursday 4th April and Tuesday

9th in New Orleans, with wrestling shows EVOLVE 103, Joey Janela's Spring Break 2, Revolution

Pro Wrestling and Progress.

But oddly, all those promotions share the same top heel…

The Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission.

David Bixenspan has a fascinating article over on Deadspin about the Commission banning

a series of wrestling moves in the state, which includes:

1.

All variations of the Pile Driver; 2.

All variations of the Power Bomb; 3.

The "Moonsault", "Shooting Star", or "450 Splash" or any variation thereof

which involves one wrestler, leaping or flipping off the ropes or turnbuckles to contact the

head or neck of the opponent with any part of his body;

4.

The "Stungun" or any variation thereof which results in the one fighter's head

or neck being dragged, draped or "closelined" [sic] across the ropes;

5.

The striking of a wrestler's head with any object, chair, trashcan lid, etc., and...

6.

No wrestler shall throw, push, shove or force another out of the ring or over the top rope.

Early 90s Bill Watts would be proud.

This all dates back to a wrestler being paralysed by a piledriver in the state in 1996, where

he successfully sued the Commission for several million dollars.

Interestingly, "WWE is not subject to the move bans" because the Commission "trusts

the competence and training of their wrestlers".

The same is true with Ring of Honor, who are now considered a "major league group"

by the Commission.

For the many different indie promotions, however, they will be forced to either give Will Ospreay

boots of lead so he can't do any high flying moves… although he'll probably still find

a way; or seek permission from the Commission for certain moves before the event.

But while we might not see any piledrivers on WrestleMania weekend, we might get a big-time

WWE return.

Rey Mysterio For Braun Strowman's Mystery Partner?

Sports Illustrated are reporting Vince McMahon is "strongly considering" using Rey Mysterio

as Braun Strowman's mystery tag partner against Cesaro and Sheamus at WrestleMania.

This depends on if Mysterio is able to wrestle come April 8th, as he suffered a bicep tear

during an independent show at the start of this month.

While the injury isn't as severe as first thought, with it only taking a few weeks to

fully heal, Rey did miss his advertised New Japan date last Sunday, where he was scheduled

to fight Jushin Thunder Liger at Strong Style Evolved.

Rey did still appear in a non-wrestling capacity at the event, though, cutting a promo before

his replacement Will Ospreay took on Liger, promising to wrestle for New Japan as soon

as possible - and then he seemingly set up future matches with Ospreay, Liger and even

Marty Scurll.

Justin Barrasso points out Mysterio's WWE return for WrestleMania "is currently expected

to be a short-term deal", which would mean Rey could both take the pin instead of Strowman,

and Mysterio could then return to work matches in New Japan.

But it's important to note Sports Illustrated are also the ones who claimed The Undertaker's

WrestleMania return match was cancelled, and John Cena would be taking on Mysterio instead.

What are 5 other surprise returns we could see at WrestleMania 34?

RIPPLE XRP COIN TO HIT $5 - RIPPLE XRP NEWS - Duration: 5:33.

Ripple (XRP)'s value over the last one year has soared, with many crypto specialists tipping

that XRP will catch up with Bitcoin (BTC), some years from now.

But, do you think, it can rule the crypto-world just like Bitcoin, and how high its price

go?

Unveiled in 2009, Bitcoin will invariably be the godfather of the crypto-world.

Because this currency practically endorsed the concept of decentralisation.

From being just one then to thousands of digital currencies today, Bitcoin is the reason for

the global possibilities of the digital currency.

Ironically, in the recent times, Bitcoin is encountering a tremendous downtrend.

This year, Bitcoin crumbled to another low with its value gone below the $7000 in the

month of February.

Since, January, the value of Bitcoin is only witnessing a dripping.

And, this has inflamed the conversations that "XRP currency is the next Bitcoin."

Launched by the Ripple Company in 2012, Ripple is an RTGS stands for real-time gross settlement

system, remittance and electronic currency exchange network.

This currency assures a safe and secure global low-cost transaction medium with no barriers

and no chargebacks.

As per the last update- in the last week of March, Ripple is the third largest currency

in terms of market capitalisation.

However, when it comes to market value, it is still below $1, ($0.572828) as of March

the 28th.

And, there is a section of the crowd who believe Ripple has taken over the baton from Bitcoin.

In the pursuit of proposing the future of the crypto ecosystem the analysts, the investors,

and the traders are declaring Ripple as the future of cryptocurrency when the Bitcoin

is experiencing a slight downswing.

Well, Ripple is one such electronic currency, which in the last one or two years has developed

massive partnerships and is triumphing over the trust of investors.

The Price Predictions of XRP for 2018 As per recent reports published in many top

digital currency journals, the industry veterans predict XRP currency in the coming time will

witness a steady price surge.

If you take a tour of the prices of Ripple within 2017, you realize that its market value

has augmented by over 28000%.

Recently, many leading banks and financial institutions are considering the implementation

of Ripple to speed up their payment processing model.

Thus, making Ripple contribution so valuable in today's digital world.

A latest report by a group of crypto aficionados by Finder.com predicted Ripple will be second

in the list of cryptocurrencies at the end of 2018, overtaking Ethrueum.

It also expected that Ripple will worth $5 by December 31, 2018.

The cryptocurrency is one of the few that are constantly finding novel ways to develop

real-world use cases.

Banks, several payment providers, and a host of digital asset exchanges are using xCurrent,

xRapid, and xVia.

All these products help them to process and provide liquidity for various payments facilitated

by Ripplenet.

These initiatives create new and competitive ways of sending payments across borders.

One constant rumor that can't seem to go away, and which could yet be the biggest,

concerns an Amazon-Ripple partnership.

The rumor gathered speed in November 2017, when Ripple hosted a conference presentation

and displayed a slide that appeared to show Amazon, Uber, and Seagate as prime examples

of companies that could use Ripple's xVia platform.

Though no one from either camp has ever publicly confirmed the going-ons, currency of events

indicate that it is a definite possibility.

The Ripple Managing Director spoke about how a multinational like Western Union could be

a great customer or partner of Ripple going forward.

And it's easy to see why this would be a coup in terms of partnerships.

Western Union is an established payments provider around the world.

If and when it happens, it would be akin to Ripple firing the first warning shot at competitors

regarding its intentions for global financial payments.

Earlier this month, Ripple announced that they had secured the services of former Bloomberg

TV presenter Corby Johnson.

He was coming on board as a chief marketing strategist to help sell Ripple to multinationals

and investors.

That was a major statement by Ripple in its bid to step up the adoption of Ripple platform

and the native XRP currency.

Conclusion

Presently, it is too early to say Ripple (XRP) currency will outdistance Bitcoin (BTC), but

things are looking good on the whole for its bright prospects.

Did you agree, Ripple will script a success story in the aura of electronic currency?

Roseanne Barr Got INSANE News Just 12Hrs After Supporting Trump In Her Big Show Premiere - Duration: 5:24.

The numbers are in, and just like November of 2016, we discover that it's Trump supporters

for the win.

Tuesday night's highly anticipated Roseanne reboot was a smashing success, according to

Yahoo, who reports that the ratings are breaking records.

The first episode in the double episode opener is reported to have drawn 17.7 million pairs

of eyes and have a 4.9 rating in adults 18 to 49.

The second episode at 8:30 PM rose even higher to 18.6 million viewers and a 5.3 in 18 to

49.

For the 8 PM hour, Roseanne averaged a 5.1 in 18 to 49 and 18.2 million viewers.

To make the success even more impressive is the fact that this broadcast shows an audience

that was up 10% from the May 1997 finale telecast 21 years ago and topped the viewership of

the final 12 telecasts of the original run's 1996-97 season.

Despite the obviously pro-Trump main character, Roseanne scored as the highest rated show

on entertainment television in 6 years among adults 18 to 49 and TV's highest-rated comedy

telecast on any night in 3 and a half years– since 9/22/14.

It is the top scripted telecast this season only behind the post-Super Bowl episode of

This Is Us.

The question on many TV executives minds right now is no doubt "why?"

Why did this simple, revamp of classic break records and bring in more viewers than the

other, more politically correct re boots (as for example, Will and Grace)?

According to Breitbart News, it's their approach to the modern day problems that families

face being politically divided and the fact that they don't shy away from showing both

sides of the issue:

'Tuesday night's two-episode revival of Roseanne launched with the same emotional

flare that made the original Conner family working-class comedy a 90s cult classic, updated

for the millennial age and set in the Trump era.

After a 20-year hiatus, the magnanimous matriarch Roseanne Barr is reunited with her on-screen

husband Dan (John Goodman) and the pair face new family challenges — Roseanne's unemployed

daughter Darlene (Sara Gilbert) has moved in with her two children, Becky, (Alicia Goranson)

widowed, struggles to become a surrogate, and Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) clashes with Roseanne

over the election of Donald Trump.

One emotional moment manufactures a rare TV siting: a flyover state denizen offering an

honest and raw, reason based rationale for supporting Trump.

'He talked about jobs, Jackie!'

Roseanne says to her 'Nasty Woman' T-shirt-clad sister, who vocally supported Hillary Clinton

but walked into the booth and voted for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

'He said he'd shake things up!

I mean, this might come as a complete shock to you, but we almost lost our house, the

way things are going.'

Moments later, just before the family eats dinner, Roseanne says a prayer — she asks

Jackie, 'Would you like to take a knee?' — in which she thanks God for her son D.J.'s

(Michael Fishman) safe return home from his military service in Syria and 'most of all

Lord, thank you, for making America great again.'

Though the reboot is not steeped in political party politics, Roseanne admits, to the New

York Times, that she wanted 'to have that dialogue about families torn apart by the

election and their political differences of opinion and how we handle it.

I thought that this was an important thing to say at this time.'

Roseanne Barr told the Times, it's about 'How families are still struggling and what

they do about it.'

'There's an arc in this season, and it's the closest I've been to doing what I want

to do,' the 65-year-old said.

'It's about everything in our country.

It's about opioids and health care.

How we deal with whole new issues that we didn't even have before, like gender-fluid

kids.

How working class people — how and why they elected Trump.'

'It's an accurate portrayal of these people and people like them,' Roseanne said of

Trump voters.

'In terms of what they think, and how they feel when they are the ones who send their

kids over to fight.

We've been in wars for a long, long time, which everybody seems to forget — but working

class people don't forget it because their kids are in it.'

The second episode, 'Dress to Impress,' follows Darlene's gender fluid son Mark,

who enjoys wearing girls clothing.

The episode is dominated by familiar fare: school bullies, the pain of unfulfilled like

goals, and a parent's penchant for fixing their children's (or grandchildren's)

problems.

The cast (and the couch) is the same as the original award-winning show but the sharp

punchlines still land, and family values remain real."

Hollywood has consistently produced liberal television for our consumption and actors

and actresses for our children to look up to, and America is over it.

That was proven by the ratings that this anti-liberal narrative show brought with it.

While it's fully within the rights of each studio or executive to decide to produce whatever

programming they feel like making, if it's really about the money, and not about brainwashing,

we should start to see a lot more conservative-inclusive content.
