LIVERPOOL icon Jamie Redknapp singled out Andrew Robertson for praise after the Reds'
2-1 win over Crystal Palace today.
Robertson helped Liverpool come from behind to beat struggling Palace and move up to second
in the table.
The Scotland international laid on the assist for Mohamed Salah's winning goal in the
closing stages.
Robertson joined Liverpool from Hull last summer and has impressed many with his performances.
Redknapp says the 24-year-old has answered Liverpool's problems on the left-hand side
of defence.
"I must say, Andrew Robertson the left-back, what a signing he has been," he said on
Sky Sports.
"That's such a good cross across the goal because he knows he's probably not going
to score as that's coming across, but he knows if he plays it in the right area.
"Liverpool have been trying to find a left-back for a few years.
"They played James Milner there last year, didn't really work out in the manner that
you'd want.
"They've signed a young player from Hull and he has been brilliant.
"What a signing he's been."
Luka Milivojevic had given Crystal Palace a half-time lead but goals from Sadio Mane
and Salah turned the game on its head.
