Waching daily Feb 26 2018

He ﷺ said his farewells to everyone. Then Jibreel, peace be with him, said:

Oh messenger of Allah, the Angel of death is here.

And he seeks permission to enter.

When does even death ask for permission to enter?

And look at the one being called.

You have sacrificed him for mere pennies.

The prophet said "Let him come in."

He entered and said

Peace be upon you, Oh Messenger of Allah.

Peace be upon you!

Till this day I have never greeted anyone, you are the first.

And you are the first that Allah has said to seek permission before entering.

Oh Messenger of Allah, I have been ordered to ask you if you want to leave.

Will he ask someone like you or me? Here death is asking for permission.

He ﷺ said "If I give you permission, will you then take my sould?"

The Angel of death said "Yes, I will."

So the prophet looked towards Jibreel and said "What do you think?"

"What do you think?"

Jibreel, peace be with him, said "Oh Messenger of Allah, Allah wishes to meet you."

My brothers and sisters, ask Allah for such a death.

When you depart, Allah is happy.

Let it not be a death where it is like a criminal

who has being recaptured and he is being cuffed and taken away...

Ask Allah for a good death and spend your life such that you are worthy of it.

Such a death becomes a mercy for us.

Allah is joyous with our return.

When Sa'ad bin Mu'adh, may Allah be pleased with him, passed away

The prophet ﷺ said... My prophet said

"Today Allah's Throne is shaking with joy."

There is sadness on Earth because he is leaving,

but where he is going there is happiness.

The prophet ﷺ said "Today Allah's Throne

is shaking with joy at the arrival of Sa'ad"

Ask for such a death!

That even the Throne of Allah shakes out of happiness and Allah is happy!

What are you doing? Where are you going?

This house of deception, this wing of a mosquito...

This web of a spider, this house of pain...

This world of heartache. What do you seek from it?

Go and seek Allah. Go and seek the prophet!

By this you will have a good life here, pleasant rest in the grave!

And you will be the owner of the luxuries of Paradise!
