Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang trained alone in his first training with Arsenal but got the

chance to work with Robert Pires at London Colney.

The 28-year-old forward completed a £56million move to the Emirates on deadline day

and will be looking forward to training alongside Arsene Wenger's first-team stars.

Aubameyang missed several games for Borussia Dortmund before joining the Gunners but did

manage to complete 90 minutes of the side's 2-2 draw with Freiburg.

Arsenal host Everton on Saturday afternoon and the Gabon striker will be hoping for a

start after training with club legend Pires.

'First Training Session and honored to have been in the company of a club legend Robert

Pires,' Aubameyang told his followers on Instagram.

Pires' former team-mate Thierry Henry has urged Wenger to change his formation following

Aubameyang's arrival.

He told Sky Sports: 'In my day we played a rigid, flat 4-4-2 and that was it.

I don't think Arsene will go back to that but why not?

'Sometimes when Olivier Giroud came on as a sub,

Alexandre Lacazette moved out to play on the right or left.

'I don't think he'll do it at the beginning of a game but why not going back to two up

front?

'The only thing I'm thinking is we always talk about supporting cast

and it's better to have two strikers and three and four guys that can help, but where

does Lacazette fit into that?

'He was like the next best thing and came with a big transfer fee like Aubameyang too,

so hopefully they can play at times together up front.'

Shanghai Dragons Have The Most Popular OWL Merch, Contenders NA News & NHL Esports | Akshon Recap - Duration: 7:00.

I'm Darren with Akshon Esports and we're back with action recap for our first

story of the day let's talk about arc six an overwatch team that may have

disappeared from memory with the passage of time but whose players remain more

relevant than ever before ever since making a name for themselves

last year after a solid underdog performance in contenders the talented

members of arc six have all left a mark in some shape or form and continue to

rise in popularity as they came to further their competitive careers in

terms of those in the overwatch League xqc was reunited with Cousteau as

members of Dallas fuel while Dante found a home with San Francisco shock as four

remaining members ginger pop who was previously assumed to have retired was

revealed by fast be a member of a reboot of a rise nation s Kalina featuring

players such as midnight and X Rizzi as for the remaining members of the arc six

legacy xqc revealed on streams that zza and Dae hoon similarly to ginger pop

would also be competing with the team in the upcoming 2018 season of contenders

North America six wada found themselves under the inventor's isn't one of course

issue this inventors all of them for all in was contenders will serve is a great

way for xq sees former teammates to showcase their talent and hopefully

catch the eye of prospective overwatch league scouts either for an academy team

or even a spot on the main roster after announcing their academy roster earlier

this week the Philly fusion contenders team featuring likes absurd alarm and

who are you will make its debut at the upcoming overwatch beat Invitational

currently there are the only team registered but it is anticipated that

other overwatch League Academy teams and player run contenders rosters will also

be participating now before we move on to our next story I'd like just to

express how it's great to see the gradual return of third party tournament

organizers hosting amateur level events for overwatch but we still have a long

ways to go while the professional teams are

preoccupied with winning the league and Academy team soon to be focusing time on

contenders the number of amateur level tournaments and grassroot efforts to

foster a healthy competitive environment at all tiers of play will definitely be

something to keep an eye on in eighteens looking at legal legends and

csgo as references I don't believe that big third party organizers such as Ely

and ESL will be running a dedicated overwatch tournament as they will need

to apply for a license from Blizzard who seems to be aiming to become the primary

organizer much like how Riot Games exert a level of control over the eSports

scene of their game even if these organizations get approval to host an

event with a large prize pool I'm skeptical that their broadcast will be

capable of attracting enough viewers to warrant the expenditures put into the

production value after playing for an entire season teams will likely want to

give their players a break in the months following playoffs

similarly the month leading up to the start of the subsequent season will be

dedicated to practice while the overwatch League does provide a longer

offseason than League of Legends the success of major non Blizzard run

tournaments will largely hinge on whether or not the overwatch League

teams decide to participate for example over the years with IEM katowice J

League of Legends viewership numbers began to draw as na LCS and EU LCS teams

decide to make better use of their time in putting more hours into practice so

that they could win the league in their respective regions rather than compete

in a tournament that had more or less lost its meaning when compared to the

importance and bragging rights that come with being a spring split champion

that's just our take on this do you think overwatch can support a healthy

grassroot scene that is welcoming to third-party organizers or will the scene

evolve into an entity resembling the competitive infrastructure crafted by

Riot Games we'd love to hear your thoughts on this matter in the comments

below for our last bit of overwatch news I want to talk a bit about overwatch

League merchandise sales numbers Blizzard may have not released any

specifics but if you just go to the online overwatch League store you can

sort the jerseys by popularity and see that the Shanghai dragons

despite currently only being at the bottom of the rankings have some of the

most popular pieces of merch that is not only outselling every other team's

Jersey but also outselling the overwatch League general merchandise it may

initially come off as a surprise but once you give it some thought the trend

of the most popular jerseys is understandable Korean fans have many

options between the New York Excelsior Seoul Dynasty and London Spitfire in

North America there is even greater divide in the fanbase for

example we have two teams in Los Angeles and the neighboring San Francisco two

teams in Texas and three teams along the eastern coast of the USA with Shanghai

boasting a population of over 24 million along with a massive Chinese eSports

community it's not difficult to rationalize why Dragon's merch is flying

off the shelves now onto our next story the day that's a little different much

like other professional sports leagues such as the NFL NBA and MLS who've

invested into eSports in hosting major gaming competitions the NHL have plans

on diving into the world of eSports with a potential announcement in the coming

months involving EA Sports as NHL video game series according to league

commissioner Gary Bettman oh you mean for us yes our goal is to unveil

something before the end of the regular season which would have a series of

competitions using the EA game and we'll have more details when we're ready to

launch prior to this news there have already

been NHL team owners who invested into eSports such as Tampa Bay Lightning

owner jeff vinik who is a member of axiomatic the ownership group behind

Team Liquid and San Jose Sharks co-owner Stratton sklavos who is invested into

echo fox now to wrap things up by moving on to some pub gtalk a report by super

data has revealed some impressive numbers pub G reportedly grossed more

than 700 million dollars in revenue by the end of 2017 super data predicts that

this values to rise to a staggering 1 billion dollars by the end of 2018 here

are some numbers from other eSports titles to put pub G's unprecedented

success into perspective 8 months following its official release

overwatch comes in second after raking in an impressive 382 million dollars

followed by csgo in third place at 341 million dollars both of which even

combined are still eclipsed by pub G's success it is important to note that as

far as free-to-play games go League of Legends is still King after

having grossed 2.1 billion dollars in revenue by the end of 2017

YouTube star plants trees in New York City pot holes | news 24h - Duration: 6:22.

Prankster plants TREES inside giant New York City pot holes to 'help' his fellow drivers avoid damaging their cars in charming social experiment that stuns baffled commuters

As a driver, hitting a large, near-invisible pot hole and damaging your car can be an incredibly frustrating - and expensive - experience.

So one car owner, fed up with the awful state of the roads in New York City, decided to do something rather bizarre to help others navigate the hole-ridden streets - by filling every pot hole he came across with a planted tree.

YouTuber Coby Persin, 23, came up with the green-thumbed idea after he himself hit a pot hole and ruined the tire of his car - an incident he explained in a rather sweet social experiment video documenting his horticultural efforts.

Good deed: YouTube star Coby Persin, 23, decided to plant trees in the New York City pot holes to try and make them more visible to drivers.

He said: When I was driving around New York City, I hit a pot hole and my tire popped and I had to buy a new one.

So I was thinking to myself, how as New Yorkers can we avoid these pot holes? Had I seen a plant inside the pot hole, I would have drove around the plant and not hit the pot hole.     .

He added: And today, Im going around with different sized plants and putting them in different sized pot holes so New Yorkers avoid them.

The video then cuts to Coby planting the trees on the New York City streets in the hopes that people will the the herbage and drive around it to avoid the pot holes.

During his planting spree, some onlookers even took the time to talk to Coby and commend him. Inspiration: Coby got the idea to plant trees in pot holes after he ran over one and popped his tire .

It works! In the video, New York City driver can be seen avoiding the pesky obstacles . One man said: Thats a good trend to start while another said beautiful after Coby told her what his plan was.       .

And his plan seemed to work as about halfway into the video, drivers can be seen avoiding the pot holes thanks to the trees that Coby planted.

At one point he even said: Its working baby when a driver evaded the concrete cavity. The clip then shows the cars, and even a bus, that benefit from all of Cobys hard work and consideration.

Bystanders are so taken aback, that they start to film and take photos of the planted pot holes.

One man, in a car over, even gives the camera a thumbs up after successfully eluding a pot hole that was filled with a plant. Pot hole photo: Onlookers are so taken aback by the act that they start to snap pictures .

No more pot holes: Coby hopes that the plants will help commuters avoid the street bumps . Coby then asks an observer what he thinks about putting the plants in the pot holes.

He responds: Thats the sickest idea Ive ever seen, and the two then hand shake in celebration. Coby has done numerous social experiment videos and currently has more than three million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

One of his previous videos shows just how easy it is for predators to use social media to lure unsuspecting children into meeting up with them.

In the clip, Coby created three fake Snapchat profiles and struck up conversations with kids aged 12, 13, and 14 with their parents permission to expose the dangers of the internet.

And although the parents insisted they had warned their children about talking to strangers online, all three of the kids agreed to meet with the person they had been conversing with on Snapchat when their parents werent around.

Brazen dognapper caught on camera | news 24h - Duration: 5:13.

Brazen dognapper steals family pet from front yard after it was briefly let out of the house in dramatic CCTV

A family dog has been stolen right from its front yard in Colorado and the horrifying act was all caught on camera.

The video clip sees a black pickup truck drive past the home of the Shih Tzu named Zoe, sitting outside by herself on her front lawn.

The truck then turns around after spotting the solitary dog, nabs her, and hurries back into the car to speed away. A neighbor across the street then hurries over to ring the doorbell and alert Zoes owner Jaime Gastelle.

Suspect: The dognapper drove a black pickup truck and made a U-turn after spotting Zoe. The suspect then played with the dog a bit before grabbing the animal and making a run for it.

The Denver kidnap took place on Tuesday around 2pm and was all caught on tape thanks to Gastelles doorbell camera. She shared the alarming clip on YouTube, pleading for help to locate her dog.

Our family dog was stolen from our front yard in Denver, CO. Her name is Zoe and she is the sweetest, most playful dog on the planet, the family said in a statement.

She was outside by herself, but her Dad works from home with a window facing the front and the temperature was in the high 50s today.

She is extremely loved and spoiled at home and her family desperately wants her back, the message continued.

Please keep an eye out for this person and this truck, and let us and the police know if you have any information about where she is.

And please share this video so others who might know where she is can see it. Thank you, the statement added. . A family: Owner Jaime Gastelle shares photos with her beloved pup that stolen on her property.

Missing: Zoe is a seven-month-old Shih Tzu that was stolen while cooling off on the front lawn. Broken-hearted: Jaime is left crushed, pleading for help in identifying the car in question.

She also took to Facebook to share his despair. Im so sad, she has truly been such a blessing, and for someone to steal her is devastating to our family, she wrote.

The police are working on the plates, and contacting a suspicious woman we saw a few days prior that we know through the police that she lives in Aurora.

The only chance we have of getting her back is somebody reporting the vehicle or people. My boyfriend works from home and has an office on the ground floor facing the front yard. It all just happened too fast! she added. .

The seven-month-old pup was calm at the time of the kidnap and was even friendly to the approaching stranger, lying down calming as the stranger offered their hand for the dog to sniff.

After the dog seemed friendly the robber quickly picked her up and rushed into the car to dash away from the scene of the crime. Gastelle is asking everyone to share the video in hopes of getting Zoe returned home.

Theresa May's red line on Brexit migrants | news 24h - Duration: 8:26.

May draws red line on Brexit migrants: PM vows to fight plans by Brussels that could let a MILLION more EU citizens live in Britain

Theresa May set out a new Brexit red line last night as she vowed to fight Brussels over plans that could grant up to another million EU citizens the right to settle in Britain.

EU leaders accepted in December that migrants arriving after Britain leaves the bloc at the end of March next year should lose the automatic right to reside here.

But Brussels backtracked on the deal this week, saying the 'cut-off date' should be delayed until the end of the transition period – putting it back by about two years.

The MigrationWatch think-tank warned the 'absurd' move could result in up to a million more EU migrants winning the automatic right to live in the UK.

Theresa May set out a new Brexit red line last night as she vowed to fight Brussels over plans that could grant up to another million EU citizens the right to settle in Britain.

Pictured: Migrants wait for a train to Serbia on the track near a train station in Demi Kapija, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in 2015.

Speaking to reporters on a trip to China, the Prime Minister vowed to fight the proposal during negotiations with the EU on the details of the transition period.

Speaking to reporters on a trip to China, the Prime Minister vowed to fight the proposal during negotiations with the EU on the details of the transition period.

Mrs May also took a thinly veiled swipe at Philip Hammond's vision of a status-quo Brexit. The Chancellor enraged Eurosceptic MPs when he suggested leaving the EU would result in only 'very modest' changes.

Mrs May flatly contradicted him yesterday, saying people 'did not vote for nothing to change when we come out of the EU'.

In an upbeat assessment, she said Britain's economy would have a 'better future' outside the EU, but she could not accept the idea that EU migrants arriving after we have left should be granted the automatic right to stay here permanently.

Mrs May said it was right to offer guarantees to the 3.2 million EU citizens who had made their home here, because they had 'made a life choice' based on the UK's EU membership.

But she added: 'For those who come after March 2019, that will be different because they will be coming to a UK they know will be outside the EU.'.

EU leaders accepted in December that migrants arriving after Britain leaves the bloc at the end of March next year should lose the automatic right to reside here. Pictured: migrants on the Serbia-Hungary border.

Guy Verhofstadt, the European Parliament's chief Brexit negotiator, has warned it would be an unacceptable curb to free movement if EU citizens arriving in Britain during the transition period were not granted automatic residency.

But ministers insist free movement will technically end in March 2019 anyway when Britain leaves the EU.

In its place, Mrs May is proposing a temporary arrangement where EU citizens will be free to come and live and work in the UK during the transition.

The only restrictions would be that they would have to register with the Home Office and – if she gets her way – they will not automatically qualify to live in the UK permanently.

Ministers are keen to secure agreement on a two-year transition by the end of next month in order to smooth Britain's exit from the EU. But Mrs May insisted this did not mean they would simply give in to the EU's demands.

'This is a matter for negotiation for the implementation period,' she said.

'But I'm clear there's a difference between those people who came prior to us leaving and those who will come when they know the UK is no longer a member of the EU.'.

But Mr Verhofstadt said last night: 'Citizens' rights during the transition is not negotiable. We will not accept that there are two sets of rights for EU citizens.'.

Two migrants warm themselves with a small fire at The Jungle in Calais, Northern France .

Mrs May also rubbished reports she is seeking to extend the transition period beyond 'about two years'. 'I'm very clear we are not talking about something that is going to go on and on,' she said.

'We're leaving the European Union. There is an adjustment period for businesses – and indeed government – for changes that need to be made.'.

EU officials last night said moving the cut-off date back was 'non-negotiable'. Diplomats said the UK had no option but to accept free movement rules during the transition period and it was 'inconceivable' it could get around this.

One added: 'Expect the EU to remain very firm on this.'.

Last night Mrs May faced fresh criticism from a member of her Brexit war Cabinet, who anonymously briefed The Spectator that the Government's Brexit policy-making 'looks worse from the inside than the outside'.

The group includes Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Environment Secretary Michael Gove.

Bernie Ecclestone slams F1's decision to axe ring girls | news 24h - Duration: 18:49.

'How is a good-looking girl offensive to anyone?': Billionaire ex-F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone blasts 'prudish' move to ditch grid girls from the sport saying 'fans love the glamour'

Ex-Formula One boss Bernie Eccelstone has blasted his former companys decision to axe walk-on grid girls.

Billionaire Ecclestone, 87, was the godfather of F1 for 50 years and built it up from almost nothing to one of the most glamorous sports in the world.

But now, F1, once synonymous with its jet-setting playboy drivers, has decided grid girls no longer resonate with our brand values.

And Ecclestone, who was ousted from the helm of the sport last year, has slammed the move to do away with the grid girls.

Ex-F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, pictured here joking with the grid girls at the 2015 Hungary Grand Prix, has slammed the sports move to do away with the girls.

Billionaire Ecclestone, 87, built the sport up from virtually nothing to one of the most glamorous in the world. He said the girls were part of the show.

Formula One have announced they will no longer use walk-on grid girls at grands prix . He told the Sun: These girls were part of the show. Fans love the glamour. The country at the moment is getting a bit prudish.

You should be allowed to have grid girls because the drivers like them, the audience like them and no one cares. These girls were part of the show, part of the spectacle.

I cant see how a good-looking girl standing with a driver and a number in front of a Formula One car can be offensive to anybody.

F1 bosses said they will no longer use grid girls from this current season which starts in Australia in two months time because it is not in keeping with their brand values.

The move mirrors the Professional Darts Corporations decision last week to end the long-established practice of women escorting male players to the stage.

And it comes in the wake of the growing row over sexual harassment following accusations levelled at disgraced Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein. Sebastian Vettel, then driving for Red Bull, poses with grid girls at the 2014 US Grand Prix .

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton poses with grid girls in Sochi in October 2015. Hamilton celebrates 2015 Chinese GP win by spraying hostess in the face with champagne.

The changes will also apply to other races which take place on grand prix weekends and will come into play from the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 25.

Sean Bratches, F1 managing director of commercial operations, said: Over the last year we have looked at a number of areas which we felt needed updating so as to be more in tune with our vision for this great sport.

While the practice of employing grid girls has been a staple of Formula 1 Grands Prix for decades, we feel this custom does not resonate with our brand values and clearly is at odds with modern day societal norms.

We dont believe the practice is appropriate or relevant to Formula 1 and its fans, old and new, across the world.

London-based charity the Womens Sport Trust had previously put pressure on F1 to drop its walk-on girls along with boxing and cycling, after the decision in darts.

It tweeted last week: We applaud the Professional Darts Corporation moving with the times and deciding to no longer use walk-on-girls. Motor racing, boxing and cycling. Darts walk-on girls will no longer be used by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

F1 has used grid girls for some years - pictured is a scantily-clad woman at 2000 Australian GP. Four grid girls pose for a picture in the pit lane at the 2002 Spanish Grand Prix.

Hungarian Grand Prix grid girls, donning identical outfits, pose for photographers in 1999. The announcement, however, was met with backlash, with fans voicing their dismay on social media.

Many were infuriated by F1s claim that the decision was made due to the brand values and took their frustrations to Twitter.

The Halo doesnt resonate with the fans values, remove that as well, wrote one user - referring to the safety cockpit device which has become mandatory ahead of the new season.

The sport was also criticised for taking the glamour away, with some claiming grid girls are an important part of a race weekend.

Marco Conradie wrote: Its as if F1 is doing everything possible these days to remove the glamour and excitement from the sport. And also, shouldnt the grid girls themselves have any say about the matter? Not very empowering stuff, this.

Grid girl poses in front of a F1 car at the 2001 Hungarian GP as photographers take snaps. Grid girls smile before the drivers parade at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in 2005.

Beverley Turner, a British television and radio presenter, backed Formula Ones decision . Karun Chandhok, a former Formula One driver, would look to see more female drivers in F1.

Model Kelly Brook, 38, who used to work as an F1 flag girl, told ITVs Loose Women: Its a well-paid job. Its one of the best jobs I ever had.

You dress glamorously and obviously its about being presentable but I never felt I was taken advantage of.

WHICH OTHER SPORTS COULD BE HIT NEXT?  UFC (Octagon girls) Boxing (Ring girls) Tour de France (Podium girls) NFL and NBA (Cheerleaders)  Football (Team cheerleaders)  Moto GP (Grid girls) .

Jade Slusarczyk, a Sky Sports walk-on girl who often poses with snooker players, was accused by a feminist listener of BBC Radio 2s Jeremy Vine show that she needed education to understand why the job is offensive.

But Ms Slusarczyk, from Blackpool, Lancashire, replied to the yoga instructor called Tilly: I got As in school and would have become a doctor, but mum was in a car crash so I had to look after her.

This Morning host Philip Schofield has also defended the women, saying: These are intelligent women. Isnt it their right to work in whatever job they choose?. But Doctor Who actress Ingrid Oliver tweeted: First darts girls, now F1 girls.

Male decision makers from uber-male sports disciplines renouncing objectification of women, whether cynical PR move or no, feels huge. I think that unfamiliar sensation Im currently experiencing is hope and, let me tell you, it feels real weird.   .

Formula One drivers walk on the Turkish Grand Prix red carpet and are welcomed by grid girls. Grid girls arrive for the pit lane walk ahead of last seasons Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

And the Womens Sport Trust tweeted: Thank you, F1 for deciding to stop using grid girls. Another sport making a clear choice about what they want to stand for.. How F1 has followed the darts in banning walk-on girls.

and boxing could be next Formula 1 said today that it will end the long-standing practice of using women on the grid and on the podium with the top three drivers.

It comes after the Professional Darts Corporation also said last week that it has also scrapped walk-on girls before matches.

Other motorsports have previously stopped the usage of grid girls. The World Endurance Championship - which hosts the famous 24 Hours Le Mans race - stopped doing it prior to the start of the 2015 season.

But other sports still employ glamorous women under the guise of entertaining the crowd before and during events.

Boxing and UFC both have ring girls, who let the crowd know which round is coming up by holding up numbered cards, generally while wearing revealing outfits.

But Talking about grid girls on BBC Radio Five Live last month, Australian Red Bull Formula 1 Daniel Ricciardo said: Its kind of like part of the attraction of the sport – fast cars and fast girls.

It is a male dominated sport and Im not saying theres no room for females.  But there is more men in the paddock than women. I just think that grid girls has always been a nice little cool thing for everyone.

So I would like to keep them.. One of the most famous grid girls was Katie Price who worked with Eddie Jordans racing team before changing her name to Jordan.

Darts suffered a similar backlash after the sport announced walk-on girls will no longer be used by the PDC following talks with broadcasters.

Women have accompanied players onto the stage for some years— something that has been regularly criticised — and the PDC decided to act despite many calling for the decision to be reversed.

The move has triggered a petition to reinstate the girls in darts. As of today it had more than 36,000 signatures. .

The PDC previously said it made its decision to end the practice of walk-on girls after receiving feedback from our host broadcasters and pressure from fans.

Other sports still employ glamorous women under the guise of entertaining the crowd before and during events. Mexican Grand Prix grid girls dress up for the occasion - but they wont be at this years race .

The announcement, however, was met with backlash, with Twitter users voicing their dismay. Boxing and UFC both have ring girls, who let the crowd know which round is coming up by holding up numbered cards, generally while wearing revealing outfits.

Cheerleaders are prevalent in American sports, with teams and franchises having their own professional cheerleading squads. Cycling is another sport which traditionally uses podium girls to pose with race winners and plant a kiss on their cheeks.

However, the Tour Down Under scrapped the use of podium girls last year and the Tour de Yorkshire instead chose to celebrate successful local businesswomen.

Cyclist Peter Sagan caused uproar in 2013 when he was pictured pinching the bottom of a podium girl after a Tour de France stage.

The 2018 F1 season begins with the Australian Grand Prix, where Lewis Hamilton will begin his bid to become a five-time world champion.

DARTS CHIEF HEARN BLASTS TV BOSSES FOR DECISION TO AXE WALK-ON GIRLS Darts supremo Barry Hearn has hit out at TV bosses after walk-on girls were axed from darts at televised tournaments.

It emerged last week that the sports famous girls will no longer be used by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) following talks with broadcasters.

Women have accompanied players onto the stage for some years— something that has been regularly criticised — and the PDC decided to act despite many calling for the decision to be reversed.

And Hearn, the PDCs chairman, has claimed the decision was out of his control — while he also insisted he hasnt got a problem with the walk-on girls. Speaking to talkSPORTs Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Hearn said: Its out of my control.

Were living in changing times — the PC brigade, the liberal brigade are out in strength and its causing changes in sport everywhere we look and its probably going to get worse.

I have no personal problems whatsoever with walk-on girls in darts. None. Theyve been there from the beginning. I think the girls are great, they get paid and its a job for them. I havent got a problem.

But I do have a big problem in the age we live in – Ive got the BBC, ITV and Sky, my three UK broadcasters, saying to me this is not part of their editorial policy any longer.

They do not want to show the walk-on girls on television. If you can tell me what I can do about it, Ill do it!.

He's nuts! Cocky man wearing just boxer shorts suffers very painful fall while attempting daft jump over railings into a canal

This is the moment a man injures a delicate part of himself while trying to jump off of a bin and into a canal.

The shirtless man can be seen walking around cockily as he makes sure his friends are filming his stunt.

Then, he rushes towards the bin but it fails to take his weight and he lands groin first on the railing, before tipping into the water below. Although they are speaking English, it is unknown where the video was filmed.

At the start of the footage, you can see the man walk backwards to give himself room to run into. He smiles at the camera and you can see his shoes kicked off to the side.

The man can be seen grimacing in pain after his jump goes wrong and he ends up painfully injuring himself on the railing. At one point, he asks the cameraman, presumably his friend, if he is recording a video.

When he gets a positive response, the man smiles again and readies himself. He is dressed in just his boxer shorts and seems cocky and confident.

The man looks as if he is intending to leap over the railing and into the water by using the bin lid to give himself a boost. The man, wearing just boxer shorts, smiled at his friends before attempting his daft stunt.

Unfortunately, he is too heavy and the bin isnt able to support him, causing him to lose his balance. The man lands on the railing, groin first, his face scrunched him in pain at the impact.

He then can be seen crashing into the water in an ungainly and graceless fall. The mans friends are heard howling in laughter before the camera captures him flailing wildly in the water.

He intended to use the bin to lever himself up into the air and then into the air, unfortunately for him it went hilariously wrong.

After landing groin-first onto the railing, the man painfully and awkwardly crashed into the canal and could be seen flailing around.

How grid girl ban spells end F1 history | news 24h - Duration: 18:56.

SARAH VINE: Why is it only middle class feminists who have the right to do what they want with their bodies?

For a certain type of woman, glamour modelling has long represented a path to opportunity.

Not necessarily a happy path, nor an easy one; but one that has nevertheless served many— from Kelly Brook to Katie Price (now both multi-millionaires) — surprisingly well.

Now, it seems, that well-worn route to stardom beloved of so many comely girls with big ambitions and matching assets is fast disappearing.

In the latest wave of post-Weinstein purges, and undoubtedly in response to the hysterical reaction to the undeniably seedy Presidents Club dinner, where young women were hired as 'hostesses' and then treated like pieces of meat, Formula One's 'grid girls' have been banned from the 2018 season.

These sexy young women — who have traditionally been a fixture of the racing scene — didn't perform any ostensible function that actually has any impact on the sport, but simply stood trackside, presented the odd trophy and gave male punters something pretty to look at while the cars were at the other end of the track.

Britain's world champion driver Graham Hill — taking a naughty glance at one of his companion's chests — is flanked by two grid girls.

According to Formula One spokesman Sean Bratches, the practice of employing grid girls has gone out of fashion and is 'at odds' with modern-day values.

The move comes just days after the Professional Darts Corporation announced that it, too, was going to trim back on totty by getting rid of the walk-on girls.

No doubt other male-dominated sports where pretty young women in tight dresses and bathing suits are a regular fixture — snooker, boxing, wrestling and so on — will feel duty-bound to follow suit.

Of course, there are many who claim this as a major victory in the fight against sexism and inequality.

A new feminist dawn in which young women are no longer forced to debase themselves and their bodies simply for the entertainment of men.

Women of glamour, rise up against the oppression of the patriarchy: you have nothing to lose but your nipple tassels. Playboy: 1976 Formula One World champion James Hunt is pictured with model Sue Shaw.

Ladies man: James Hunt enjoys the company of a group of women following the end of a race. James Hunt is pictured with a local woman in the pits before the 1977 Argentina Grand Prix in Buenos Aires.

Except, of course, they do. They have a lot to lose, starting with a steady income, financial independence and the prospect of nabbing a career in showbusiness or, failing that, a rich boyfriend.

In other words, options. Something that many of these young women simply wouldn't have otherwise.

And all for what? So that their less attractive and allegedly intellectually superior sneering sisters can pursue an anti-male agenda which, if it reaches its logical conclusion, will end up with the human race disappearing off the face of the planet altogether on account of no man daring to speak to any woman ever again.

Scores of perfectly happy women, who are employed to do something they appear to (for the most part) enjoy and which brings great pleasure to many, will now find themselves out of a job. What are they supposed to do?.

And yet all this is celebrated as some great triumph — mostly by middle-class female journalists, commentators and MPs — who have no concept and probably no interest in what these girls think, just as long as they get to stop men doing what men are naturally programmed to do: enjoy looking at attractive young women.

A pit girl at the GP Von Ungarn in Budapest back in 2001. For that, folks, is Feminism 2018: working-class glamour girls on the dole; middle-class intellectuals on the make.

The irony, of course, is that those very same pressure groups demanding an end to glamour-girl culture are the very same who are forever blethering on about how it's a woman body and she should be able to do what she wants with it.

These are the hard-line abortionists, the free-the-nipple loons (who believe women have the right to show their nipples on social media) and the pro-prostitute campaigners. Woe betide anyone who tries to place restraints on their freedoms.

And surely the same principle should apply to every woman?.

In the warped post-Weinstein ideological landscape of Me Too and Time's Up, self-determination applies only if it falls within the approved parameters. And that does not include doing anything that might bring any enjoyment to men.

Like judgmental Victorian spinsters, today's feminist moralisers look at the likes of Charlotte Wood and Daniella Allfree — the two darts walk-on girls who spoke up this week about how much they enjoyed their jobs — and find them in dire need of being patronised out of existence.

And so, while the BBC's former China editor, Carrie Gracie — who resigned from her job over unequal pay (despite being offered a rise when she complained) — delivers a lecture to MPs of quite spectacular sanctimoniousness, countless women preparing for a lucrative season of Lycra-wearing in F1 are scanning the small ads in Tesco.

From a 60s Japanese pop star to Katie Price and Love Islands Olivia Atwood: How the grid girl ban spells the end of a long and VERY colourful part of Formula One history . By Siofra Brennan for MailOnline.

From a Japanese 60s pop star who paved the way for countless glamorous girls in the decades ahead to a fresh-faced teenage Katie Price, the demise of grid girls means the end of a long and colourful history.

Walk-on grid girls were axed from Formula One today as motorsport bosses said they would not feature in the upcoming season, which starts in Australia in two months time, because it is not in keeping with their brand values.

While many support the decision, the sport was also criticised for taking the glamour away from the sport, with some claiming grid girls, who work long hours on race weekends, shouldnt have their jobs taken away from them.

Here, Femail reveals how the tradition began in Japan in the 60s and is now used by hopefuls as a launchpad into modelling and TV careers.

Japanese model and singer Rosa Ogawa, now 71, was the original racing glamour girl who came to prominence in the late 1960s as brands started to use motorsport as an opportunity to advertise their products.

Back then, the role largely involved holding up a sign while looking pretty. Soon the US embraced the concept of the grid girl and it took off worldwide.

Japanese model and singer Rosa Ogawa, now 71, is cited as the first ever grid girl, appearing at races back in the 1960s to promote various brands .

A glamorous model strikes a pose for photographer at the 1968 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch . The 70s was the decade that critics hark back to, citing the increasingly tight-fitting outfits that became the unofficial grid girl uniform.

Silverstone boss Stuart Pringle recently said: Lycra can stay in the 1970s and 80s for me, I don't want any of that tarty nonsense.

A tight fitting lycra playsuit teamed with knee high boots became the unofficial uniform of the grid girls as the glamour stakes increased.

Commercially it was a huge thing at the time, he told a 5 live Sport documentary in December 2017. I was involved with Benson & Hedges. The idea was it should be fun. .

Motor racing is a very serious business very commercial and it needs to have a very respectable return on the investment. But at the same time it also needed to show flair, excitement all of the other razzmatazz that goes with racing. .

We had all the major models at the time, they were so keen to get into the yellow swimsuits.  Katie Price, she was the catalyst.

Eddie Jordan who ran the Jordan Grand Prix team in the late 90s and 2000s pioneered the use of grid girls to add a touch of glamour to motorsport . 2010s: Launchpad for a reality TV career  .

Olivia Attwood, 26, one of the stars of Love Island 2017 began her career as a pit girl.

For three years before she joined the hit reality show, she was a Monster Energy Grid Girl travelling the world to  work at events such as Formula One, Rallycross and Moto GP.

Meanwhile fellow grid girl Izzy Beaumont has also used the job as a launchpad for TV jobs, appearing on Celebs Go Dating with Joey Essex and Calum Best, Britains Flashiest Families and Supercars: The Million Pound Motors.

The move mirrors the Professional Darts Corporations decision last week to end the long-established practice of women escorting male players to the stage and comes in the wake of the growing row over sexual harassment following accusations levelled at disgraced Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Love Islands Olivia Atwood had a three-year career as a pit girl before shooting to fame on the hit reality show .

Grid girl Izzy Beaumont has also used her job as a launchpad to get on TV, and has appeared on Celebs Go Dating and Britains Flashiest Families .

Bentley driver caught speeding by community volunteers | news 24h - Duration: 7:23.

Bentley driver who was caught breaking 20mph limit by anti-speeding volunteers reports THEM to police for breaking the law

A Bentley driver caught speeding by a group of community volunteers reported them to police after claiming they were the ones breaking the law.

Jason Higgins, 44, admitted he was breaking the speed limit when he was spotted by the Bathampton Community Speedwatch group - but went back to confront them.

After speaking to the volunteers, he reported them to police, accusing them of acting outside the law by sitting in their vehicle.

Speedwatch volunteers use a hand held pocket radar kit provided by police, which is about the size of an iPhone and provides an instant digital readout from 600 to 700 yards.

Under scheme rules they must wear hi-viz jackets and not sit in cars while on duty.

Jason Higgins, 44, pictured with his Bentley, was caught speeding by a group of community volunteers. He reported them to police after claiming they were the ones breaking the law.

Mr Higgins, from Bathampton in north east Somerset, admitted he was driving at 24mph in a 20mph zone when he was caught by the volunteers on Bathampton Lane.

He said: I am all for speed awareness and people doing their bit to stop accidents, but I have been misrepresented by them.

I was driving down the lane as my children go to the school there and the Speedwatch volunteers were sat in a vehicle at the end of the driveway.

At first I stopped as I thought the car was pulling out and then I noticed the black device. I drove back to ask them what they were doing and whether they had permission.

I explained that instead of stopping an accident they could have caused one as they were at the end of the drive and holding a black object, which could cause someone to stop suddenly.

Later on, I spoke to the police and the officers involved with the group and he said they were not working in accordance with the law by being in their vehicle and he would have a word.

Mr Higgins claimed the community volunteers could have caused an accident as they were holding a black object that could have caused a driver to stop suddenly . Community volunteers Barry Southern (left) and Kelvin Brunton (right) mark down speeding drivers in Bathampton .

In guidance issued to Community Speedwatch groups by Avon and Somerset Constabulary, volunteers are told fluorescent jackets must be worn at all times and they should be fully visible to drivers of vehicles.

The 44-year-old added: The limit is 20mph and I think I was doing about 24mph at the time - but I dont know why it is 20mph as you can walk faster than that.

I did not argue with them, all I did was say that they were causing the problem rather than solving it and they were not doing it the right way as I couldnt see their high visibility jackets.

Bathampton Community Speedwatch was set up a year ago to highlight the danger caused by drivers speeding in the village.

What is Community Speedwatch?   Community Speedwatch is a national initiative where members of local communities join with the support of the police to monitor speeds of vehicles using a pocket radar kit.

However Barry Southern, a Speedwatch volunteer, insisted the volunteers were wearing high visibility jackets and had not used a car since. He said: We were in a vehicle and we were wearing High-Vis so were not exactly invisible.

The guy went past us at 30mph and later came back to ask us what we were doing as we had pointed something at him.

We explained what we were doing and we were told later he had contacted Avon and Somerset Constabulary. All speed checks since have not used a vehicle. .

Fellow volunteer Kelvin Brunton added: Its silly that people dont pay attention to the speed limit, especially along roads which have obstacles, people coming out of their driveways and children in the area.

Bathampton Community Speedwatch was set up a year ago to highlight the danger caused by drivers speeding in the village.

Vehicles observed speeding will be sent a warning letter from Avon and Somerset police, along with advice to help change their driving behaviour.

Further action will be taken by the police against persistent and high-end speed offenders as well as targeting individual locations.
