FATHER EFFECTIVELY TREATS DAUGHTERS' CROHN'S DISEASE BY JUICING CANNABIS

BY Anna Hunt March 27, 2018

ABC News Australia recently reported on a story about a desperate father.

Stephen Taylor's two daughters were fighting Crohn's disease, which causes chronic inflammation

of the digestive tract.

When all else failed, Taylor turned to juicing cannabis and discovered that the plant may

have the potential to cure his daughters' illness.

Cannabis Juice Eases Gut Inflammation and Pain

Taylor's two daughters, Morgan (21) and Ariel (25), have been fighting Crohn's disease

for many years.

This auto-immune disease attacks the lining of the digestive tract, causing chronic inflammation.

The symptoms include weight loss, chronic pain, ulcers, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, and

anemia.

Both Morgan and Ariel were repeatedly hospitalized due to the illness.

At one instance, Ariel almost hemorrhaged to death.

In addition, Morgan suffered horrible side-effects from the drugs used to treat her.

For example, she had a severe allergic reaction to one drug and her throat started to close

up.

Another drug gave her extreme arthritis to where she couldn't walk for days.

All of this changed when their father started giving them cannabis juice.

Both daughters' symptoms subsided, and they gained weight.

Taylor told ABC that he believes cannabis sent Morgan into remission.

Juicing Cannabis vs. Smoking Taylor decided to administer cannabis to his

daughter in juice form.

This means that he was juicing the green material of the plant, such as the leaves and stems.

His ideal dose was 30 ml of cannabis juice, administered three times per day.

Taylor decided to grow his own plants to be able to obtain all of the green material that

he needed.

Juicing cannabis is much different than smoking it.

Iain McGregor is the professor of Psychopharmacology at the Lambert Initiative for Cannabinoid

Therapeutics at Sydney University.

He explained to ABC this difference:

In many ways, juicing is a positive thing to do because you don't get nearly as much

of the intoxicating element, which is THC [tetrahyrdocannabinol] and you get another

component of cannabinoid, which is THCA [tetrahydocannabinolic acid], which has very strong anti-inflammatory

properties in the gut.

McGregor added:

Proper clinical trials on THCA have not been done and this is one of the generic problems

that we have with medicinal cannabis, this prohibition that we have over the years is

really stymieing progress in terms of learning the therapeutic effects of the plant.

The Australian government continues to be very cautious when it comes to giving access

to medical cannabis.

Lack of research is one of the reasons for this.

The Struggle to Obtain Access to Legal Medical Cannabis

Medical cannabis has been legal in Australia since late 2016.

Yet, it is very difficult to obtain.

McGregor conveyed that there are only about 500 patients who are using the proper channels

to obtain cannabis.

On the other hand, he estimated that up to 100,000 Australians are using cannabis to

self-medicate a variety of health issues.

Proponents of medical cannabis argue that access to the plant should not be as difficult

as the government makes it.

Dr Bastian Seidel represents general practitioners across Australia.

He stated:

It doesn't make sense; your postcode should not determine whether you have access to treatment.

Because Taylor couldn't find a doctor willing to go through the proper application process

for cannabis administration, he decided to grow the plants himself.

Regardless that he's using the plants to effectively treat his daughters, the government

still considers his actions illegal.

The police raided Taylor's home and found 107 plants.

He now faces criminal charges.

Once again, his daughters Morgan and Ariel must face their illness without access to

an effective treatment.

fabio rocha - Provando que, de facto, Jesus ressuscitou! (parte 1) - Duration: 12:19.

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.

Easter is so, so close! I'm going to offer a series of videos (I'm planning to do 5 of them) proving that Jesus indeed resurrected.

If He in fact did resurrected, then Christianity is true and Jesus is Divine. If not, then Christianity is false and Jesus is, at best, just one nice guru, a moralist, a teacher, a philosopher among many.

St. Paul, one of the earliest Christian leaders, said "If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain and your faith is in vain." [cf. 1 Corinthians 15:14]

Christ's Resurrection is a very crucial point in Christianity. If He truly resurrected, then be or becoming a Christian is worth it; if not, everything is useless, in vain. All the evangelization effort is trivial, according to St. Paul.

We have an extraordinary amount of historical testimony surrounding the life and death of Jesus. Hence, we can affirm that Jesus of Nazareth is an historical figure, He truly lived among us.

I've talk about this matter in a video I made some time ago where I demonstrate Jesus is Lord, not just a simple man. [search: "JESUS: Uma lenda? Um mentiroso? Um lunático? Ou Deus?"]

Back to what I was saying: we have 4 independent biographies (i.e., the Gospels) containing eyewitness accounts about Jesus and numerous historical references outside the Bible (accounts from Jews, Romans, pagans, etc).

We have a lot of references from different people that attests the existence and life of Jesus. The Bible isn't the only reference...

When we talk about this issue (i.e., proving the Resurrection) to someone, we have to make sure that someone believes in 2 principles:

#1 - God exists;

#2 - The New Testament offers generally reliable history.

It's kinda useless if we try to demonstrate to someone that Jesus really resurrected if that person doesn't even believe that God exists and/or that the Bible is reliable,

that the New Testament is composed of 4 (ancient) biographies, an old compilation of texts that attests to the existence of a very important person (i.e., Jesus)...

It's kinda useless trying to talk to someone about the Resurrection if that person doesn't even believe in God's existence or doesn't give the Scriptures the benefit of the doubt.

Thus, to that kind of person we have to first demonstrate God's existence, God's plan of salvation in humanity, Jesus' existence and the inspiration of the Scriptures.

I've made videos on all these issues... I'll leave all the links below.

Virtually all historians recognize that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and killed by Roman leaders, in Jerusalem, around 2,000 years ago. We can take that as a given, as an historical fact.

The controversial question, though, is what happened after Jesus' crucifixion?

Well, let's consider three historical facts, ones that are widely accepted by virtually all scholars:

#1 - The empty tomb of Jesus;

#2 - The appearances of Jesus after his death;

#3 - The sudden origin of Christianity.

Lets analyse Evidence #1 - THE EMPTY TOMB OF JESUS...

We have independent accounts of Jesus' burial and empty tomb. These were written very few years after his death, not way too far from the event.

There are 6 independent accounts that attests Jesus' death, burial and, afterward, the finding of his tomb empty.

Then we have something very particular and interesting...

The testimony/account of Jesus' female disciples... Women who followed Jesus...

Women were not regarded, at the time of Jesus, as credible witnesses in first century Jewish society; their testimony was not even admitted in court. At the time, their testimony were considered inferior.

This female testimony gives us credit for the empty tomb historical fact because if you were making up a story about people discovering an empty tomb, why make them women?

If the gospel writers were making up a story, why would they make reference to female testimony of Jesus' empty tomb? They were the first ones to evangelize.

If people didn't trust women, why would you make your "made up story" credible by mention female testimony? That would be just absurd, you would aspect rejection right away.

Also, we have the early attempts of Jewish authorities to disprove the empty tomb. St. Matthew tells us that the religious leaders got together and they had to come up with a story to discredit Jesus' disciples.

They needed a story to discard the possibility of Jesus' own resurrection. Christ had prophesised many times about his own resurrection and so the jewish leaders didn't want people to believe in that, hence the rush to make up some story.

They accused Jesus' disciples of stealing Jesus' body. Think about it: this would only make sense if the tomb was, in fact, empty! So the early Jewish adversaries provide more support for belief in the empty tomb.

Conclusion: the empty tomb historical fact is demonstrable. There are some things, some details that point to that fact.

Lets analyse Evidence #2 - THE POST-MORTEM APPEARANCES OF JESUS...

The primary account is found in 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 where it says Jesus appeared alive to more than 500 people!

Not one or two persons... or ten... but FIVE HUNDRED!

Paul even says, "... most of whom are still alive today."

The implicit suggestion seems to be, "And hey, if you disagree, go talk to these eyewitnesses! Ask them yourselves! Go see if I'm lying to you."

Paul would not have said this, or challenged people to talk to the eyewitnesses, if the event had never taken place and there were no eyewitnesses. If such event didn't happened, Paul would be refuted in a blink of an eye.

Also, the other appearances Paul mentions—to Peter and the other disciples—are well-attested, too.

We have multiple, independent account of each of those encounters. And finally, Jesus appeared after his death to both James and Paul, two people not inclined to think Jesus rose from the dead.

James was a relative (cousin) of Jesus and deeply skeptical of him; Paul was an enemy of Christians before becoming one of Christ's greatest apostles.

Paul used to persecute, even murder Christians in the land. He really wanted this new religious movement (viewed at the time as a Jewish heretical sect) to be vanished from the face of the earth. So it's hard to believe either James or Paul would sincerely claim Jesus had appeared to them unless that's what really happened.

And finally, lets analyse Evidence #3 - - THE SUDDEN ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY...

Why did the "Christian movement/religion" came into existence? It was an organized group of followers with their own set of beliefs, disciplines and liturgy...

If the whole thing was an invention/ a lie, how did this "Christian movement" came into existence and started to grow each day?

Even skeptical scholars recognize that the Christian faith arose only because the earliest disciples sincerely believed that God has raised from Jesus from the dead.

Brothers and sisters, this is it. I just gave you the best evidence to prove Jesus, in fact, arose from the dead. In my next video I'm going to talk about more details, eventually I'll mention the most common and strong objections

and how can we respond. This is the goal of my series on Jesus' Resurrection.

I hope this video have enlightened you and gave you more faith, more trust in Jesus and that influence your spirituality for this Easter season coming up.

Remember, Easter isn't just this Sunday (April 1, 2018). Easter is 50 days! It goes all the way till Pentecost. Easter is the most important season for the Christians, we focus on one major event: the Death, Passion and, more focused, the Resurrection of Christ.

I wish you all a happy and holy Easter. See you next week, God willing.
