can't think of a better dessert than this cream and cocoa so I have sweetened

coconut flakes add a half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and then I'm going to

add about a quarter teaspoon sea salt and then I'm gonna mix it I'm putting it

in the oven which is at 325 for five minutes to make the crema de coco start

by mixing a cup of cold milk with a half a cup of cornstarch into the saucepan a

can of sweetened condensed milk and I'm going to add two cans coconut milk now

add the cornstarch in cold milk mixture low to medium heat and then we're just gonna

stop when this mixture coats the back of the spoon this is exactly how you

want your coconut so that you have some coconut pieces that are still a little

bit moist and chewy mmm the crema de cocoa is ready we're just going to spoon the

crema de cocoa in these ramekins

you're gonna add the toasted coconut flakes set these aside and let them cool

a little bit so you can eat it hot you can eat it look warm it's really

delicious cold

.Hello friends, and welcome once again to Green Data.

-Did you ever think about what does it mean to be

a garbage collector on the streets of a suburb?

-And not only for the amount but by the type of waste

that we produce in big cities.

-That's why we prepare an interview.

-Let's go see the video!

Do you separate the garbage?

Did you think about the amount of trash that we generate daily?

We interviewed to Mr. José Luis and even if you don't know him,

he knows more about us than you think.

-My name is José Luis Solís Rodríguez

and i have 56 years of service.

Mr. José Luis is responsable for collecting the garbage

of one of the Mexico city's suburbs.

Daily, at 5am starts whit their coworkers

his rutine of collecting garbage at the houses of

the suburb to then, take charge of the cleaning streets.

All these years Mr. José Luis have been

doing more than collect our garbage.

This is what he said us:

-For example, about the inorganic waste,

what do you see the most that is thrown away?

-Well, the paper, glass, like glass bottles,

plastic, paperboard, all that.

And what happen when people already

gave you the garbage separated?

Oh, that's pretty okay, then i know wich one is organic

and inorganic so i can carry it, here for organic and there for inorganic.

Everything has to come separately

to make it less the garbage that goes to the deposit,

that's why we have to separate,

so that it goes less, everything else you can sell it

to recycle again, that's the main thing,

that doesn't fill up so soon the place where we're

going to throw the garbage in the trucks, because there's no place anymore.

Even now they are throwing it to Morelos, other places, Estado de México.

-Because doesn't fit anymore

-There's no place anymore in Mexico city, it's filled up,

for the same, that the garbage wasn't separated and the volume of waste gets bigger,

so you throw it away and quickly fills up the deposits.

-For example, at the homes, did you have noticed…

-Increases the waste by season, now it's a low one, there's no much garbage.

But increases in christmas season, in november, december,

the waste increases, people throw away more.

Even when payday it's far, the amount of garbage decreases,

but when payday comes, the amount increases

for two or three days.

After that, the amount of waste is normalized.

-And what do you think about the amount of garbage

that we are producing for the next years?

-Well, it won't be a place to throw it away.

That's why we have to separate the garbage,

we have to take conscience, we all have to do it.

We have to separate the waste, the garbage.

Even in park or streets, we have to throw our garbage in the category that belongs,

in the containers that exists for organic or inorganic.

Because people forget to do it.

I say it, because when i pick up the trash comes riot.

-Why do you think that people don't separate the trash?

-Well, as i said, we don't have awareness,

because if they're telling us to separate the trash

through brochures, even on TV with clear instructions,

but we still didn't do it.

The responsability is of the citizens,

they have to separate it, and we have to collect it, but already separated.

According with the OECD, Germany is the first place in the world top,

recycling the 65% of all their garbage,

followed by Sourh Korea with the 59% of recycling.

USA is the first place in the continent with the 35% of recycling,

followed by Canada with 24% and México with only 5%

It is very important that as we generate garbage,

we look for a way to separate it, recicle it or re-use it.

-So you already know why separate and recicle our garbage is very important.

-It's not just about reducing the work of the trash collectors, but it's a joint work.

International Women's Day is tremendously important because it

provides an opportunity for women to be heard and, in many instances, they're not.

They either fear speaking up or their voices or quashed.

I'm always surprised by how, if I'm delivering -- even if I'm delivering a serious message, a strong

message -- somehow I'm always expected to smile, I'm always expected to be pretty,

to be giggly, to be flirty, while I'm doing that, and that's not expected of my male colleagues.

The biggest challenges for women as they're navigating a career,

whether it's in business or in the public sector, is being heard and making

sure that they can make their points known and get their ideas across.

Sometimes I voice ideas or I voice opinions and nothing seems to happen.

And sometimes, when another person -- usually a man -- will voice that same idea

or opinion, it's taken more seriously.

I've been in situations where just telling my employer that I was pregnant

caused them to sort of doubt whether or not I could do the job.

But, for me, it's important to work. It's an important part of my identity.

And I think, for my girls, it's important for them to see me working.

In the U.S., women make up 47 percent of the workforce. So why

shouldn't diplomacy foreign affairs be the same?

Women are still, I think, underrepresented in leadership. And, you know, still hear there's a widening gender gap

in terms of economics around the world.

It's it's a time to remember and to refresh the batteries and saying: yes, we need to continue to

advocate for these things. We need to continue to ensure that women have a role,

have a place at the table that's equal to that of everyone else at the table.

So, even though we've come far and it's a great time to be a woman, there's still work

to be done. And we can't be complacent.

We have to keep working towards more progress.
