Hi, I'm Todd Miller from Seco Tools.
We have some new tools launching that I'd like to tell you a little bit about.
First, with Niagara Cutter we're doing an expansion of the range of the MBZ and MZN
mold and die hard milling tools.
This range is an expansion for metric tools that go from 2 - 12mm.
Jetstream's going to be added within threading.
I don't know about you, but in threading applications, chip control can be a real problem and this
should really help solve it.
We're going to have multiple options with stick tools and in the GL heads for Steadyline.
Some of the other things that we have coming are range expansions into the chrome turning
inserts, both TK and TP for turning iron or turning steel.
If you remember — Duratomic — game changer, right?
20% better speed, 20% better productivity or 20% better tool life.
We also have a couple of inch Combimaster cutters that are going to
expand out the Turbo family range.
So along with these 300 new products, we're going to re-emphasize some of the other products
that we've recently brought to market.
Within the Feedmax family of solid carbide drills, we recently upgraded the geometry
for steel machining to help improve chip evacuation and improve productivity.
We're also going to talk about high feed tooling, not only the High Feed 6, which was the most
recently introduced but the entire range of high feed milling.
If you remember, high feed is one of the more productive ways to help you guys save money
and cut your costs.
Square T4 is another one of those products that we introduced recently,
and have been expanding the range ever since.
We've actually added a few more into the helical program to give us
even better coverage with different applications.
If you remember, Square T4 is a four-edged system that doesn't only help drive economy,
but it actually improves productivity within different milling applications.
Don't forget about our new, re-engineered Perfomax indexable drill.
That drill has been totally redesigned from the ground up to help improve chip evacuation
and improve body life.
If you think about all the new products with all the new technology, all the cost savings
that we've brought that we've recently introduced within what, just the past two years, it's
probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 6,000 different products.
That just shows Seco's commitment to reinvest into technology to help drive productivity
and reduce your costs.
