Waching daily Mar 1 2018

Hello! I'm in Pau from the development team in Katuma.

Katuma is an online platform that promotes and helps

food co-ops and local farmers to carry out their activities in an effective way.

We are the Trementinàires del Coll-Vallcarca...

We are Pagerols...

30 Panxes is a

project that was born in 2011...

Nutrition is a fundamental right that food co-ops

and small farmers strive to defend.

Food co-ops have existed in Catalonia for almost

40 years now, in all these years they have grown

and spread throughout the territory.

We are a group of neighbors organized

to consume local produce based on

criteria we establish ourselves

where we have a direct relationship with the producer.

Here we have contact with suppliers,

we have contact with other co-ops...

Food co-ops encourage active participation

of its members, who decide critically and democratically

which products they want to consume.

We want

to contribute to a change, we want

to transform this

model that we think and feel that

is not the right one.

Some of us then thought "whell then ...

let's do something about it, right? "

Now with Katuma we want to take it one step further and

scale it to a bigger level with the help of technology

so that it becomes a real alternative to food consumption.

We think we are

contributing to help

the environment, the people, when producing the products

we produce.

Thanks to this campaign in Goteo we will continue developing Katuma,

we will help food co-ops and producers make use of it

and we will improve our communication so that Katuma

reaches everyone.

Help us improve it and share it with more co-ops and producers!

Now it's your turn!

Together

we will change the rules of consumption!

In addition, food co-ops and producers who use the

platform are members of Katuma, in what is known as

a platform cooperativism. This fact

guarantees a transparent governance.

"A lot has happened in the last 10 years" - Fascia expert Vibeke Elbrønd - Duration: 2:56.

A lot has happened during the last ten years. Most of it is actually in the human research.

It's opening up ways of thinking, a new way of thinking. Because we have been very focused on

how the locomotion system is related to the functions of mucles, functions of bones, functions tendons

but we tend to forget that it is the fascia system that is connecting everything and that it is the fascia system

which is the base skeleton of everything; and of the whole body. And the other things are just put into it.

So it is a new paradigm opening up a new way of thinking. Also since a very close interaction with

the nervous system has been found. Part of the skeptisism is also that people can see that they have to

think in quite a new way. They have to approach the diagnosis that they make and include

another factor which might be over-ruling all the other factors that we have focused on before.

So therefore people have to start from scratch when doing this. But it does not mean

they have to throw out all the old knowledge because this is something on top of it.

This is knowledge that will combine the things they already know and

make it much more three-dimensional and go much more in-depth than they have done before.

Because we can easily show, this and this and this and that but it is difficult in a three-dimensional

system to show that if you are doing this, then this and this happen. You have a three-dimensional system

that is working all over the body, it is interacting in conjunction all way around.

So this is the clinical part of it that has to be evalutated and validated, so that you can see that the treatment

is working. Because the structure and function and architecture of the fascia that is actually anatomy,

that is pure anotomy and there is no hocus pocus about that. We have to approach it in quite a different way.

And that is a challenge. I think that people are afraid of these challenges. They need to sit down,

need to get into this from the base to understand what is going on.

Badminton. Overhead shots (drop, clear, smash) - Duration: 5:50.

The hit above the head is used in the shots from the back of the court

that are divided into DROP, SMASH or CLEAR

according to the place and strength where we want to send the shuttle

this technique is the right one, when we have enough time to get us

consists of: 1) Footwork to the ideal hitting area

2) Initial position of waiting

3) Execution or hitting phase

The INITIAL POSITION of WAITING, once we have moved, it is:

shoulders perpendicular to the network

arm without racket semiflexed and pointing to the shuttle

racket arm flexed and relaxed with the racket up aligned with the forearm

straight body, because of we are attacking

the feet practically perpendicular to the network

we put together scapulae and we raise the chest, to enhance execution

The HITTING PHASE consists of:

fast twist of the stem, while

we perform a rotation of the elbow

first backwards (with supination of the forearm)

and then forward (with a pronation of it)

we made a continuous movement of rotation of shoulders and arm

we pivot with the leg opposite the racket

we hit the shuttle at the highest point up and in front of the body

after the hitting, we finish with the arm relaxed on the opposite side following the inertia

The KEYS are: 1) Shoulder rotation

2) Finish forward

3) Hit at the highest point and in front of us

Strengthening the technique will allow us

1) Internalize and execute the shot unconsciously

similar to when we drive, once we have learned

2) That the opponent does not know until the last moment if we are going to make a drop, a smash or a clear

because of the motor execution is the same

3) Clear our mind, taking care of the game tactics increasing confidence in our hitting skills

To learn the hitting, it is preferable to start with parallel drops

because of it is the simplest shot and allows us to focus on the correct technique

observing analytically each phase or movement

You have to develop, the whole chain of arm flexion

which includes:shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers

so we will generate the greatest striking force, and we will save energy

We can see the detail in slow motion

How do I turn my shoulders

and relax the racket when hitting

when the shuttle comes back

I point my arm towards him, I put myself in waiting position

together the scapulae

I do the shoulder twist project the arm forward

I do the rotation of the elbow and I relax my arm once I hit

TYPICAL ERRORS in the overhead shots

1) Hit only with the wrist without taking advantage of the strength of the arm and stem

2) Hit back, which inhibit the whole body movement and move forward, key aspects

3) Strike down, without extending the arm and the racket

4) Hit parallel to the network without taking advantage of the shoulders

5) Sink the body when hitting, reducing the height of the shot

6) End the racket on the same side

7) Use an incorrect racket grip

8) Perform a jump and change feet

If we do the scissor kick jump as a result we will not advance the body position

and it's usually hit lower, since it is more difficult to coordinate the gesture

If we have time you have to pivot with the opposite leg
