Hello, hello artists. This is the Krita
tutorial 7. If you haven't seen the previous ones,
I recommend that you click on the icon
on the top right or check out
my channel. In the last tutorial
we were seeing these Krita tools:
the upper part; and now I will
explain these down here.
But there is something I wanted to say and
I forgot in the previous video,
it's about the "Transform" tool.
Here are several filters.
You can select whatever you want.
By default is usually selected this:
"Bicubic". Making transformations,
for example...
flipping the image
you can see that practically
it's the same
but if what I do is rotate, then
and you begin to notice
the image has faded,
it has lost quality.
This usually happens almost with
all filters. So, every time you
transform the image, your are losing quality.
For example, if we try this
filter: "BSpline"
and we make the flip
transformation again,
we see that even the blur
is more noticeable
[Music]
And if we rotate it seems that even
it's losing more and more.
So ... what to do in
these cases if you want to make
transformations without losing quality?
I usually select this filter:
"Lanczos3".
With this you can flip
without losing quality.
You can also rotate, even if you lose
quality it seems not so much.
[Music]
But hey, this is already a matter of taste.
Select the one that suits you, the more you
like, depends on the case.
Now we start with the new video and
the tool I want to explain now.
Here we have the "Gradient" tool
to make gradients.
You can select what type of
gradient you want:
radial, linear ...
[Music]
... selecting colors, for example
in this case it's black ... and here
the gradient type.
This is selected by default but
we can select any other.
And by clicking and dragging
the gradient is generated.
Opacity can be varied as always
and here as I was saying the
gradient type: may be radial,
it would be in a circle shape.
And there are other types: square ...
... you can play with that.
These options let you
repeat the gradient.
This option inverts
the colors. Here the square is colored
green, and blue outside.
And if we invert, it will the opposite:
This square here in the middle
will be blue and the other green
[Music]
This option
can also
import gradients. You can select
where the gradients are.
Anyway, in previous videos
I explained where you had to put them.
If you put them in the
correct folder
they will appear here.
With this you could delete them
and from this button you can change
the colors.
Click on any color you want
for example this here.
We can change the color
that will show on the left
and right part.
For example here it goes from blue to white.
We could change to another color such as orange
and green. Then it would progress
in this way although it can be changed
if we drag the white triangle.
You can even modify the opacity
and you also can change
the type of gradient.
Here as you see the strip is marked in blue,
the strip that will change.
You can modify this strip
dragging the triangles.
Each strip consists of an edge,
the black triangle, and the other edge,
which is also a black triangle,
and a white triangle which provides
the transition between the end of a color
and the beginning of the other.
This is the
"Color selector" tool.
Any site we click
we will get the color we are selecting
either in this panel or
here in this one.
By default if we selected another
tool and click (holding) "Control" button
Krita automatically changes to
"Color selector" tool.
Anyway, clicking here on
"Color selector" tool.
we have several options.
If we use pallets
the color will be added here.
I will explain the palettes issue in future videos.
Krita gets the color we are selecting
in 1 pixel by default but
it can be changed
to more pixels, although
it will be inaccurate. And here
we can see the amount of each colour:
the amount of red, green,
blue and alpha. If you are selecting
transparency, it should be zero value
and 255 if it's opaque.
The video ends here. I would like
to know your opinion so
write comments saying what
you liked, what could be improved,
if you have any questions or if
for example you have ideas for
future videos. I will answer all
comments as soon as possible.
Subscribe to my channel and click on the bell
to activate notifications and receive
notices when the following videos
are ready. It would also be perfect
if you press the "Like" button to
support the video and make it easier to
reach other interested artists.
Nothing more artists, thanks for your time
Don't give up and keep going!
