 The Reds will be aiming to make the knockout stages of Europe's top club competition again after reaching last year's final, where they were beaten by Real Madrid in Ukraine

 Bayern Munich started the season sluggishly under Niko Kovac but have hit their stride recently, winning games against Hertha Berlin, Schalke and Augsburg in recent weeks

 Anfield is primed to be a cauldron of noise - and it often is on big Champions League evenings

 Lewandowski has never played on Merseyside. But the Poland international has revealed that he has heard great things about the Anfield atmosphere

 When asked if he's heard about the atmosphere, Lewandowski told BBC Sport: "Yes I've heard a lot

 "And I love it when I can play in a stadium like Anfield with the fans. "Maybe the fans will be against me but I love this and I love this feeling

"  Lewandowski also believes the contest will be tricky given Liverpool's current form

 The striker added: "Of course it will be a very difficult and tough game. "We know Liverpool are on top in the Premier League, they are playing really well

 "But it's the Champions league, something special, and we also know we have very good and quality players

 "We also have to think about what we should do.  "Ok the first game is in Liverpool but this is the Champions League, anything can happen

 "You have to be ready and you have to play from the first to the 95th minute at 100 per cent

Maybe even 100 and ten per cent, and to be ready." Lewandowski came close to moving to England twice earlier in his career

 Had it not been for the volcanic ash from the eruption of Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull, he would have signed for Blackburn Rovers in 2007

 And he was once a Manchester United transfer target for Sir Alex Ferguson, only for the Red Devils to move for Robin van Persie in 2012 instead

 United's first game under Solskjaer was a 5-1 win at Cardiff City, and since then they've earned big victories away to the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal as well

  The win at Chelsea may be MUFC's most impressive yet, however, with Solskjaer's side in complete control throughout at Stamford Bridge

 So that's now seven wins out of seven away from home for the 45-year-old tactician, scoring 17 goals and conceding just two

Οι Ήρωες της Digea ταξίδεψαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη! | Top News | fthis.gr - Duration: 3:42.

 Ένα ακόμα συναρπαστικό ταξίδι, αυτή τη φορά στη Θεσσαλονίκη, πραγματοποίησαν με ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία οι « Ήρωες της Digea»

 Το Σάββατο 16 Φεβρουαρίου, τα παιδιά της «Μέλισσας», του «Παιδικού Χωριού SOS» στο Πλαγιάρι,  του «Ελληνικού Παιδικού Χωριού» στο Φίλυρο και του «Φάρου του Κόσμου», βρέθηκαν στο προσκήνιο και έγιναν οι νέοι «Ήρωες της Digea»

 Στην δεύτερη αυτή δράση του προγράμματος ΕΚΕ της Digea συμμετείχαν περισσότερα από 200 παιδιά από ιδρύματα της περιοχής της Θεσσαλονίκης

 Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Odeon Μακεδονία και αυτή τη φορά οι νέοι πρωταγωνιστές μας, αφού περπάτησαν στο «Orange Carpet», απόλαυσαν τις περιπλανήσεις του «Ασπροδόντη» και τη μάχη του καλού με το κακό, ενώ τα λίγο μεγαλύτερα παιδιά, την «Alita»  και το περιπετειώδες ταξίδι γνωριμίας της με τη γενναιόδωρη αλλά και τη σκοτεινή πλευρά των ανθρώπων

 Όλα τα παιδιά είχαν την ευκαιρία να παίξουν με ηλεκτρονικά παιχνίδια, να διασκεδάσουν σε ένα ξύλινο vintage luna park με κρίκους και nerf και να πάρουν μέρος σε δραστηριότητες δημιουργικής απασχόλησης, όπως face-painting, handprint κ

α.  Ο διευθύνων σύμβουλος της Digea Νίκος Μαστοράκης, με την ευκαιρία της δεύτερης αυτής εκδήλωσης, ανέφερε:  «Τηρώντας την υπόσχεσή μας, ήρθαμε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στηρίζοντας το ελπιδοφόρο ταξίδι των «Ηρώων της Digea», του προγράμματος εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης της εταιρείας, σε μια προσπάθεια να δείξουμε την έμπρακτη συμπαράστασή μας και να αγκαλιάσουμε τα παιδιά που το έχουν περισσότερο ανάγκη

 Είμαστε ιδιαίτερα ικανοποιημένοι που και αυτή η εκδήλωση, όπως και η πρώτη που έγινε πριν από 3 μήνες στην Αθήνα, βρήκε σημαντική ανταπόκριση από τα ιδρύματα της περιοχής και πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία

Το γεγονός αυτό μας δίνει νέα δύναμη για να  συνεχίσουμε με ανάλογες δράσεις σε ολόκληρη την Ελλάδα, πράγμα που αποτελεί άλλωστε και ρητή δέσμευση μας»

 Την ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένη ενέργεια, τίμησαν με την παρουσία και την ενεργό συμμετοχή τους, προσωπικότητες από τον καλλιτεχνικό, δημοσιογραφικό και επιχειρηματικό χώρο

 Συγκεκριμένα στην εκδήλωση μεταξύ άλλων παραβρέθηκαν οι:  Γιώργος Μαυρίδης, Ευτύχης Μπλέτσας, Στάθης Παναγιωτόπουλος, Μανώλης Παπουτσάκης, Βούλα Πατουλίδου, Νίκος Πολυδερόπουλος, Γιάννης Σερβετάς και Βίκυ Χατζηβασιλείου, οι οποίοι εκτός των άλλων δραστηριοτήτων στις οποίες συμμετείχαν, απένειμαν στους «πρωταγωνιστές» της εκδήλωσης το ΟΣΚΑΡ τους, ένα προσωπικό δώρο για κάθε παιδί

Man Utd news: What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did that led to Ander Herrera goal against Chelsea - Duration: 2:39.

 Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his side put Chelsea to the sword on Monday night, with Herrera and Paul Pogba both finding the net

 The Red Devils went into the game needing a response after Tuesday's chastening 2-0 Champions League defeat to PSG at Old Trafford

 But Manchester United were at their brilliant best as they inflicted yet another defeat on Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea side

 Herrera scored the opener in the 31st minute against the Blues, with Pogba providing the assist via a pinpoint cross

 And the Manchester Evening News claim Solskjaer's intervention actually led to the goal

 It is said Solskjaer urged Pogba to keep on the left from his position on the touchline

 And it was from the left wing where Pogba provided the cross that led to Herrera opening the scoring

 The France international produced a man of the match display just six days after receiving a red card against PSG

 The midfielder's cross for Herrera's goal was nothing short of stunning.  And his powerful header that doubled United's lead was also straight out of the top drawer

 Solskjaer, meanwhile, lauded Pogba after United's win. The 45-year-old said: "He had a tough game against PSG but he was probably our best player then

 "He had two or three players around him all the time. "Tonight [Monday] was a great response, playing against one of the best defensive midfielders in the world with [N'Golo] Kante next to him

 "We know he's one of the best attacking midfielders in the world. He has vision, so the cross for Ander's goal was fantastic

 "Then the way he plays the ball out to Marcus [Rashford] and gets into the box for the second was fantastic, too

" United are next in action against Liverpool on Sunday. And Pogba is expected to start the crunch showdown at Old Trafford given his sublime performances of late
