 Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was revealed that injured Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard may recover in time to face them in the crunch clash at Old Trafford on Sunday, as reported by the Daily Mail

 The pair were initially withdrawn through injury in the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain, with Martial suffering from a groin issue, whilst Lingard was feeling his hamstring

 Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer originally stated that the duo could miss "two to three weeks" of action, which would have certainly ruled them out of the game against Jurgen Klopp's side, although they now look set for a swift return

   With the game against rivals United such a huge one in terms of the title race, Liverpool fans who were previously celebrating the pair's expected absence have now reacted on Twitter following the news that they could be fit…

" She added: "Because I'm pregnant I couldn't pick him up. He was leaning on my feet for me to comfort him and I couldn't

Snuggling up to the patient she told him: "Oh Norman, I love you so much buddy." Explaining the situation in a post alongside the video she said: "Here we go again

Thank God for my mum and peter being retired and living 2 minutes away! "Another operation almost 8 months after his left cruciate ligament went, his right one has gone

"I remember loads of you telling me it was the case with your dogs so I was kinda waiting for it

"I'm just sad that I can't pick him up for snuggles or carry him upstairs to sleep with me in the evening

Gemma had roped in dogs Norman and Ollie to help break her pregnancy announcement earlier this month

The former Hollyoaks actress is expecting her first baby with Strictly star Gorka Marquez, 28

One of Gemma's pooches was kitted out with a sign that read, "Guess what.mum's pregnant" while the other wore one which said: "We're going to be big brothers!" Mum-to-be Gemma shared the shot and added, "And what Amazing big brothers they will be! "Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year

"Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already."

Huawei founder says US cannot crush telecoms giant News Al Jazeera

In interview with BBC, Ren Zhengfei describes arrest of his daughter and Huawei executive as politically motivated.

The founder of Chinese telecommunications equipment giant Huawei has said the cannot defeat his companys global ambitions.

"There is no way the US can crush us," Ren Zhengfei told the BBC in an  on Monday.

"The world cannot leave us because we are more advanced. Even if they persuade more countries not to use us temporarily, we can always scale things down a bit."

Washington has repeatedly accused Chinese companies of stealing proprietary technology to gain a competitive edge, something Beijing has denied. The accusations are among several at the heart of a major trade dispute between the worlds top two economies.

On Saturday, US Vice President Mike Pence a security conference in Munich that the Chinese government requires Huawei and other Chinese telecommunications firms to give it access to any data that goes through their networks. He warned Washingtons allies against using equipment made by Huawei and its peers.

But some of those countries appear to be less concerned than the US.

Citing unnamed sources, the Financial Times reported on Sunday that British intelligence services believe any threats posed by Huawei equipment in next generation so called 5G mobile networks can be managed.

Meanwhile, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said her countrys security services have not made a final decision on whether to allow telecoms provider Spark to use Huawei equipment in building its 5G networks.

Local media quoted Ardern as saying that the final decision would be made independently of the US and others.

In an interview with international media in January, Ren denied that the Chinese government forces companies to allow it to access users data.

In his latest statements, the BBC also quoted Ren as saying he objects to Washingtons accusations against his daughter, Huaweis chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou.

Meng was arrested in the Canadian city of Vancouver on December 1 on charges that the company violated US sanctions against Iran and was involved in stealing trade secrets.

Freed on bail, she is expected to be the subject of an extradition request by the US.

"This kind of politically motivated act is not acceptable," Ren said in the interview, adding, however, that he would let the courts settle the matter.
