Greetings Carderock team, this is your Carderock News Update.
I'm your host, Nick Jones.
Captain Vandroff signed a Voluntary Protection Programs, or VPP, commitment letter promising
to continue to provide a safe work environment, free of recognized hazards, for all personnel
on June 20th.
Captain Vandroff has empowered all employees to work safely, report hazards and stop work
without fear of repercussion if you feel an unsafe act or hazard may harm anyone.
To report hazards, you can email or call the safety office on base.
Congratulations to Jesse Geisbert, Carderock's Virginia Class Submarine propulsor manufacturing
project manager, who received the American Society of Naval Engineers, Rosenblatt Young
Naval Engineer Award.
The award is presented to a solitary person under 35 years of age who has demonstrated
remarkable, early professional achievement in one or more areas of naval engineering.
The property management division is anticipating full implementation of the standard process
for material delivery starting the beginning of July.
Going forward, all material ordered and received will now be visible in Navy E-R-P.
Additionally, Carderock's Supply Branch will be leading the effort to minimize the
workload on users through the implementation of P-D-R-E-P.
Training for the workforce to learn about the updated material and supply management
processes, as well as future process enhancements, is being offered by the Supply Branch .
Naval Support Activity Washington requests your help in assessing demand — or potential
demand — for personal electric vehicle charging capability.
To help in this effort, an online survey has been set up to collect feedback from the workforce.

Captain Vandroff and Dr. Paul Shang will hold an All-Hands on July 10th and 12th in the
MTIC Auditorium.
There will be two sessions each day, 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., so to ensure everyone
is able to attend.
This week, as we celebrate the July 4th holiday, don't forget to practice summer safety habits
and enjoy the holiday fun responsibly.
For more information on these events and others, check out your weekly edition of Wavelets,
which you can find on the intranet or iN-Fusion.
This has been your Carderock News Update.
Thanks for watching.
