Thomas Lemar will join Arsenal, transfer deal is 'done'

Journalist Giulianelli has made a number of big transfer claims in the past to mixed success - and his latest one has been to suggest a move for Lemar, 21, is a 'done' deal.

Giulianelli claims the move will then be completed once Monaco have found a replacement.

He tweeted: "To all the Arsenal supporters asking me about Lemar I can answer: dont worry, he will join the Gunners.

It prompted one fan to tweet: "Ema, one quick question, please: is Lemar to #AFC conditional upon anything else? Or 100% agreed, nothing to do with any Monaco signing?". Giulianelli replied: "Done, but Monaco want to have a substitute first.

Arsene Wenger yesterday insisted Arsenal are still 'active' in the transfer market. He said: "I believe there are actually two ways to improve the team.

First of all to improve the quality of what we do in training to improve the squad and improve the players we have, and secondly to bring more top-level players in.

"The difficulty is to bring top-level players in because you pay a huge amount of money for very normal players at the moment. As well, all the big clubs are chasing the same players and that provokes huge inflation.

"Maybe this will be the first time we [football clubs] pay over £200m, maybe over £300m with Neymar and around £200m with Mbappe.

"So there is a huge inflation. But we are active, we are working hard and I think we have done well with Kolasinac, we have done well with Lacazette and we are continuing to work.

"There's the usual acceleration in the final part of August. "But I think you have always to be on alert every day, because a good opportunity might turn up.

"Sometimes people you are after for a long time are not available and suddenly they become available. So you have always to be on alert. That's what we do.".

of Facebook videos that run every Sunday evening, opposite Game of Thrones, that she posted

on Donald Trump's Facebook page, where she claims to be reporting the "real news".

Because as she points out, and as Donald Trump has pointed out, you can't trust anybody in

the media out there in the world, so it is her job.

Lara Trump has taken on the specific responsibility of being the only person in this country actually

reporting what's really happening in this country.

It's all on Lara Trump, folks.

She is the only one telling us the real stories about the real Donald Trump, and the real

accomplishments that he has had as President of the United States, because that's what

it's all about.

She says she wants to talk about his accomplishments, the good things he's doing that that fake

news media continues to ignore.

What's weird about that is if she's doing videos talking about Trump's accomplishments

... She's actually made several different videos.

I didn't know he had enough accomplishments to fill out an entire minute, let alone several

videos.

The even scarier part is that some of these videos have over 40,000 views on them, more

than 10,000 shares, which shows that the little Trumpites and the alt-right all throughout

this country have absolutely no problem listening to this woman, taking her word at face value,

and then spreading it all around.

That's exactly what fake news does.

You post a video, you don't cite any sources, you just make wild claims and accusations,

and you get your idiotic followers who won't bother to do the research behind it to share

it with their people.

That's exactly what everybody's accused the alleged Russian trolls of doing.

Now the Trump administration is literally doing this.

I know Lara Trump's not a member of the administration, but Eric Trump being the president's son,

I think it's pretty safe to say that this is a Trump Administration project.

Lara Trump has absolutely no business getting in front of a camera and talking about Donald

Trump's accomplishments, because there are none to talk about.

Donald Trump has done nothing good for this country.

He's done nothing productive.

All he's done is whine and cry like a giant man-baby, and blamed everything on Democrats,

even though they're the minority party in both the House and the Senate.

Once he couldn't get his Health Care Bill passed, he started also attacking Republicans.

The man is throwing a massive temper tantrum that's now been going on for several months,

but Lara Trump thinks that it's time we start talking about all of Donald Trumps accomplishments.

That's going to be a very short video, if she ever actually gets around to talking about

the good things the President's done.

The rest of us are going to talk about the chaos that this man is creating and the chaos

that his staff and cabinet is creating, and the giant mess that they've made ... That

the rest of us who actually live in reality, unlike Lara and Donald Trump, are going to

have to clean up one day.

LIVERPOOL are considering joining Arsenal in the race for Monaco star Thomas Lemar, according to reports. Reds playmaker Philippe Coutinho is being lined up to replace Paris Saint-Germain-bound Neymar.

Anfield chiefs are reportedly resigned to losing their star player, but will recoup a fee of about £70million. And they are now mulling over a move for 21-year-old Monaco winger Lemar, according to Le 10 Sport.

But Liverpool face competition from Arsenal for the Frenchman. The Gunners third bid of £44million was rejected by the Ligue 1 champions.

It is believed Lemar favours a move to the Emirates to link up with compatriot Arsene Wenger. Wenger is desperate to land the player as he looks to break his way back into the Champions League.

Monaco are reluctant to sell having already lost key men Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Benjamin Mendy.

But Liverpool could force their hand with a big enough bid should they lose Brazil star Coutinho, 25. Coutinho will not come cheap having signed a new long-term contract in January keeping him at Anfield until 2022.

Arsenal's move for Monaco star Thomas Lemar put on hold

ARSENALS move for Monaco star Thomas Lemar has been put on hold, with Arsene Wenger struggling to offload a host of flops.

At least seven Gunners players have been put on the market this summer by the French boss after already splashing £44million on Alexandre Lacazette.

Jack Wilshere, David Ospina, Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Lucas Perez, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy may all need to leave the club in order for a deal for Lemar to go through.

All players have been linked with moves away from the Emirates this summer, but are yet to leave.

The lack of activity will no doubt be a worry for Wenger – as well as Arsenal fans – as a deal for Lemar already appears to be slipping away.

So far, Wenger has only been able to sell Wojciech Szczesny – as he left for Juventus following a two-year loan stint at Serie A side Roma.

Now, with news that Barcelona are set to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho – despite a second, world-record £89. 5m bid being rejected – Arsenal face more issues.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has now entered the race for Monaco star Lemar and could have plenty of funds to play with should their Little Magician leave.

The Gunners have already launched a host of bids for Lemar, so have the edge at this point - with the most recent reportedly hitting the £45m-mark.

However, yet again, he could being beaten in the race for his signature if he doesnt find the money in time, as North London rivals Tottenham are also serious about a deal.
