Meghan Markle news: Duchess of Sussex on SECRET trip - when is she too pregnant to travel? - Today - Duration: 3:58.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has just embarked on a trip to the US, where she will be spending time with 'loyal friends'
The now very pregnant royal will be visiting to celebrate the upcoming arrival of her and husband Prince Harry's first child
However, she will be going alone, leaving Prince Harry at home in the UK. Meghan has another official overseas visit planned to Morocco after her week of celebration, but will she be too pregnant to travel? Meghan, Harry, Kate and William inspire Swedish royals' parent guide Meghan Markle: Pregnant Duchess takes SOLO trip abroad - Where? Is Meghan Markle too pregnant to travel? Kensington Palace has not yet revealed when Meghan's official due date is but Meghan and Harry have hinted she is due some time in April
This means she is expecting to give birth in as little as three weeks. As most pregnant women approach the final weeks of their pregnancy, they will be under advisement not to travel, as this is a potential risk to the baby
At the very least, Meghan is 36 weeks pregnant, and according to the NHS, chances of giving birth increase after week 37
The NHS outlines no particular health risks in this time frame but does advise it is best to check, as some airlines won't let women fly towards the end of their pregnancy
This is because giving birth on a plane is both distracting to staff who may be otherwise needed, and is an unsanitary environment
The NHS says: "Flying isn't harmful to you or your baby but discuss any health issues or pregnancy complications with your midwife or doctor before you fly
" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were late to awards ceremony Is Meghan Markle's accent changing to be more BRITISH? "The chance of going into labour is naturally higher after 37 weeks (around 32 weeks if you're carrying twins), and some airlines won't let you fly towards the end of your pregnancy
" "After week 28 of pregnancy, the airline may ask for a letter from your doctor or midwife confirming your due date, and that you aren't at risk of complications
" However, the flight time from London to New York could pose some risks to an unborn child, through deep vein thrombosis
The NHS says: "Long-distance travel (longer than 4 hours) carries a small risk of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
" "If you fly, drink plenty of water and move about regularly – every 30 minutes or so
"You can buy a pair of graduated compression or support stockings from the pharmacy, which will help reduce leg swelling
" The average London to New York flight takes around 15 hours, according to British Airways, which may mean Meghan is at some risk
However as a royal, she will likely have the best of care and advice from top medical professionals, so her child will be safe

Liverpool News - 5 things we noticed from Liverpool's training session ahead of Bayern clash - Duration: 2:30.
Liverpool continued their preparations ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich
The Reds are aiming to go one better than last season, after losing to Real Madrid in Kiev last May, having eased through the group stage
Jurgen Klopp masterminded the Reds' way through Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade to set up a last-16 tie with Bayern
Here are five things we noticed from Liverpool's latest training session as their Champions League bid resumes on Tuesday
1. Klopp's injury list The big news at Melwood ahead of the clash is Klopp's ever growing injury list
Joe Gomez is definitely out with a broken leg. Dejan Lovren and Roberto Firmino are heavy doubts after failing to appear in training - with a hamstring injury keeping the Croatian racing against the clock to be fit, while the striker has a virus
There is better news in the case of the previously ill Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri - who trained on Monday as he steps up his return from an abdominal problem
And if they aren't injured, they're suspended - in the case of Virgil van Dijk. 2
Fabinho ready With Gomez out, Lovren probably absent and van Dijk unavailable, Fabinho could be utilised at centre back
The Brazilian is predominantly a central midfielder but has been known to also frequent down the flanks at full-back
But he is likely to line up alongside Joel Matip to try and stop Robert Lewandowski and co
3. Time for Sturridge? Continuing on the same theme, could Daniel Sturridge be the man to step up and take Firmino's place leading the line? The much maligned striker has already been a semi-regular in the Champions League so far this season - with two starts and three substitute appearances
Sturridge has a goal in the competition as well - as he netted the first goal in the Reds' topsy-turvy fixture with PSG back in September
The England international hasn't scored since September but could be trusted to breach Manuel Neuer
4. Look who's back at Melwood Finally a reason to smile for Liverpool fans, if you ignore their Premier League title challenge
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain went through his paces with the rest of his Reds teammates as he continues to race towards a comeback to action
The ex-Arsenal midfielder has not played since April 24 last year when he damaged knee ligaments during Liverpool's 5-2 Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Roma
But after impressing during the trip to Marbella, Oxlade-Chamberlain's return to action come up relative soon
5. Mane smiles What channel is Liverpool vs Bayern Munich on? TV and live stream information No Firmino, no problem
Sadio Mane is bang in form and his smile suggests that he is ready to pile more pain on Bayern
The Senegalese winger has notched in four straight matches - against Crystal Palace , Leicester , West Ham and Bournemouth
With Firmino set to miss out, Mane could continue to fill the scoresheet.

✅ Breaking News - Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson hits out at BBC Scotland - Duration: 7:21.
Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson took aim at BBC Scotland on Monday night, accusing the corporation of treating them differently from other clubs and 'vilifying' striker Alfredo Morelos
In a lengthy interview on the club website calling for changes to the SFA's disciplinary system, the Ibrox chief also voiced concern over compliance officer Clare Whyte potentially being influenced by 'Trial by Sportscene'
Rangers and the BBC have been in dispute since 2015, with the corporation refusing to send staff to Ibrox after the club banned one of their reporters
Share this article Share Robertson claimed the BBC have recently confirmed to the club that they treat Rangers differently to the rest of the Premiership
Citing the treatment of Morelos after a series of flashpoints in the last Old Firm clash, and an unsavoury picture of midfielder Ryan Jack that drew an official apology from the BBC, he wondered if the club is being punished due to the broadcaster's coverage of Rangers
Robertson said: 'The BBC recently asked to come to Ibrox, but only to cover the matches
They would not be interviewing our manager and our players.'Now, if they are treating us differently in that respect, are there other areas where they are also treating Rangers differently in terms of the incidents which we are seeing being highlighted at the weekend?'You only have to look at the Alfredo Morelos incident in the Old Firm game, where they seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time examining Alfredo's actions, but at no time at all did they look at any other actions from that game with the same scrutiny
'Morelos was then effectively vilified for three weeks on various BBC platforms.'We had the Ryan Jack incident where we had a banner showing the decapitated head of Ryan used as an image for a discussion on ticketing, I think
'So we have had various incidents with the BBC and it just doesn't seem to be getting any better with them
'They have actually written to us and told us they are treating us differently from other clubs in the Premiership
'It is important the compliance officer isn't influenced unduly by Sportscene given that background
'It feels as though the incidents, which are being highlighted on the television at the weekend, are the incidents which are being picked up by the compliance officer on a Monday
'I've heard the expression 'Trial by Sportscene' and that really seems to be the way it is going
'Now, we understand complaints come in from all sorts of avenues but the correlation between what is shown on television at the weekend and what is then being reviewed on a Monday and the notice of complaints which then appear is very high
'All we ever want from the BBC is to be treated fairly, in a balanced way and in an accurate way
'On Monday night, a BBC Scotland spokesperson responded, saying: 'The central part of this dispute is that Rangers is continuing to operate an exceptional ban of one of our journalists
We have offered to return to Ibrox to provide commentary, as per our contracted rights, while we try to find a permanent solution to the overall dispute, but Rangers have said this is unacceptable
'Our coverage, including analysis and comment, is editorially fair. We will continue to speak to both Rangers and the SPFL about the situation as we believe it's in the best interest of our audiences to restore the ability to bring commentaries from all SPFL grounds
' Rangers have also been unhappy with the SFA's judicial process this season, most recently when goalkeeper Allan McGregor was given a two-match retrospective ban for a challenge on Aberdeen's Lewis Ferguson
That saw the club renew their call for the Scottish FA's 'flawed' disciplinary system to be urgently overhauled
Now Robertson has accused compliance officer Whyte of re-refereeing matches and called on the system to revert back to the way it worked under her predecessors
He said: 'If you go back to last season and previous seasons, it was only incidents of violent conduct or off-the-ball incidents the referees didn't see that would be reconsidered
'What we are now getting ourselves into is a situation where many more incidents are being looked at and we are effectively re-refereeing games
'That is placing intolerable pressures on the referees, which is then placing pressures on the compliance system and the disciplinary system
'Do we feel this has altered since the new compliance officer was recruited? There is no doubt
'Clare came in at the start of this season and there is no doubt things have been dealt with differently this year
'Some of the incidents which have been reviewed this year wouldn't have been reviewed last year
That is leading to the confusion - there is much more inconsistency and it definitely feels as if we are re-refereeing games
'We feel we should now be looking to go back to what the system was previously where it was violent conduct and off-the-ball incidents that should be reviewed only
'That way, you are not going back to every incident and re-refereeing and examining it in minute detail
'You're not having television pundits effectively setting the agenda of what should be reviewed on a Monday morning
' The Ibrox managing director also threw his weight behind the introduction of Video Assistant Referees (VAR) in Scottish football
'I also think we need to look at VAR,' he added. 'It is the direction of travel in football and we need to be looking at it seriously to give the referees all the assistance we can
'I heard a stat the other day it takes decisions from 93 per cent accurate to 98 per cent accurate
'We are not going to get 100 per cent accuracy, but it is going to help and, if we have tools and technology which can help us, let's use them and let's take the pressure off the referees
That in itself will help them to referee the games better.' The SFA declined to comment

Downsásaid hisámedicationápractices were the result of the facility being short staffed and busy, according to the document.
The nursing board voted to offer Downs a consent agreement and disciplinary terms including a warning and a requirement that he complete a professional boundaries course. Downs completed the course and signed an agreement admitting he failed to follow policies designed to safeguard his patients and engaged in behavior that exceeded professional boundaries.

Pete Davidson mysteriously cancels gig at the last minute - Latest News - Duration: 1:32.
Pete Davidson fans were skeptical when the troubled comic pulled out of a stand-up show just a day before it was supposed to go on
The "Saturday Night Live" star was due to perform at a New Jersey theater at 7 p
m. Tuesday, and at 6 p.m. Monday, the theater contacted ticket holders to say the show had been canceled due to an "unforeseen conflict
" Adding to the intrigue, the sold-out show was only announced on Friday. "WTF! The gig was just announced," said a comedy fan
"Maybe there was a conflict. Maybe not. But to postpone the gig 25 hours before showtime because of a conflict?" Davidson famously suffered a bad breakup with fiancée Ariana Grande and had to take time off from "SNL" after tweeting, "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore" in December
His rep didn't get back to us, and the theater was closed for the holiday. Share this:

Royal news: Princess Anne channels Princess DIANA in official visit to Tower of London - Today News - Duration: 4:21.
The Royal Family is constantly busy at the moment, as Meghan and Harry prepare for their first child, and Kate and William are kept active with their own ever-growing family
Many of them are also embroiled in their official capacity as family members and are journeying across the country attending events
Princess Anne is among the hardest working of the Windsor clan, and her second week of February was packed with official duties
For one particular duty, she made a clothing choice once made by her brother's former wife Princess Diana
Prince Charles and the RHINO: Future King's 'NEAR-DEATH' experience. Royal WARS: How Cherie Blair FUMED at Princess Anne after 'MAJOR SNUB' Princess Anne attended an event as the Master of the Corporation of Trinity House this week
This is an honorary position and puts the Princess at the helm of Trinity House - a private organisation under a royal charter which functions as a lighthouse authority, deep sea piloting authority, and a maritime charity
The Princess was in attendance at Trinity House for a 'Younger Brethren's (Trinity House advisor and staff member) Guest Night Dinner
She attended the night dressed in a bow-tie and stood on stage to answer questions in a Q&A in the seldom seen adornment
She chose to wear the tie in accompaniment with a suit, a traditional choice for the Princess
While this is normal for her, this is unusual in the Royal Family, as only once before has a female royal been seen wearing a bow tie
Prince Harry and Prince William's late mother Princess Diana once wore a tie one a visit to Italy in 1985

The suit and tie combination was labelled a "mishap" by the Daily Mail but broke boundaries for the Royal Family
Diana was the first female royal to start wearing a suit in public. The powerful look has been a favourite of many royal women, most notably Princess Anne, but Meghan Markle has also regularly chosen to attend events dressed in a pantsuit
The look is extraordinarily versatile and is especially important to Anne, who is an honorary Rear Admiral, and suits are traditional for military personnel
Most recently, Princess Anne paid a visit to an independent victim support charity in Yorkshire, where she heard stories from those impacted by crime and discussed its impact
Olwen Edwards of Victim Support said: "It was wonderful to have Princess Anne join us to help highlight the wonderful work of our staff and volunteers do in supporting victims of crime in North Yorkshire
"The Princess was able to join us for the start of some very important discussions on rural crime and how we can reach more victims with help
"This is a crucial issue for us as North Yorkshire is not only the largest county in the country but also one of the most rural
