Well, we are at the Territorial Space for Capacitation and Reincorporation (ETCR) "El Negro Eliécer Gaitán"

It´s located on Tibu, North of Santander Department, in the Colombian-Venezuelan frontier

Here is being developed the transition process of former Guerrilleros of the 33th Front of FARC

We have two years of work since the construction ETCR

Currently we are implementing different education programs.

On this programs, we have students that were part of FARC-EP guerrilla, but there are also people from close by paths.

Students with all the diversity proper of colombian rural areas: womans, youth, farmers...

We had worked with very limited resources so far,

but we have invision that, given there are a good amount of students close to graduation

We feel the necesity to be able to bring studies oportunities beyond High-School

Due to the fact that they have prior knowledge on the territory

and different know-hows of theirs rural and guerrilla lives experiences

We are talking of nurses, dentist, etc. people that learned the trades of the job in the guerrilla life

We would like for all of this to be complemented,

there for we think one way could be distance learning,

understanding the need of the country life to stay and work on the land

that blocks the option of travel long distances to the city to get a complete Degree.

Therefor one concrete issue right now on this ETCR

is the need of computers and other digital tools and resources

with wich the students could better learn the use of these technologies

to be able to continue theirs education journeys.
