5.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
He has had one really good stretch of about 20 minutes against Chelsea, but aside from
that, he has been nothing short of terrible.
Mkhitaryan has not been able to cover for a collapsing Ozil.
He hasn't even been able to provide for himself.
That has to change.
Cardiff should see Mkhitaryan given plenty of opportunities and, by nature, you'd have
to assume that he would take some of them.
4.
Mesut Ozil
Mesut Ozil is gradually falling down this list of key players simply because he is looking
powerless to be a key player anymore.
Ozil missed out on West Ham due to illness/not liking what Emery had in mind for his usage
against the Hammers.
It was a major blow to fans' confidence in Ozil because we've been here before with
his mystery illnesses.

3.
Granit Xhaka
With Ozil on the fritz, Granit Xhaka can take the majority of the responsibility there.
Those kinds of passes will be needed against Cardiff.
In fact, this whole game figures to be one that Xhaka can really shine in.
The Gunners will have most of the possession and that inevitably brings Xhaka into the
game much more, as he is a control tower of a midfielder that needs possession to be at
his best.
2.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Chances are, this isn't a game that is going to favor his over the top speed and style.
For a team that hasn't given up any goals, Aubameyang will be tasked with doing more
than he is traditionally used to.
Aubameyang is going to have to navigate tight spaces and, let me say this again, make the
most of his chances.
1.
Aaron Ramsey
Well, Aaron Ramsey sits perfectly in the middle ground of creating chances and taking chances.
The midfielder will be facing his youth side, which is always a bit of an added motivation,
to show them how far you've come.
But aside from the emotional connection, Ramsey is probably the only guy present in the expected
starting XI that can make things happen all on his own.
