Dembele joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund for €147m last summer but failed to nail down a regular role in Ernesto Valverde's side

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the France international, who is on holiday after helping his country to World Cup glory

He is reportedly on Gunners recruitment chief Sven Mislintat's wish list.Mislintat swooped for Dembele from Rennes during his spell at Dortmund

Dembele missed around three months of last term due to injury but managed to chip in with nine assists and four goals in 24 appearances

But he faces an uncertain future following Barcelona's controversial capture of Malcom from Bordeaux

According to Sport, Dembele is worried about the Brazilian's arrival and got his representatives to talk to Nou Camp chiefs about the situation

Barcelona attempted to ease the 21-year-old's fears but his agent is set to travel to Catalonia in the coming days

Valverde has attempted to downplay fears Dembele could be sold."Let's hope it's his season," the Barcelona head coach said

"He is an extraordinary player."The past year has been complicated because of the injuries, but even so he has brought us a lot

The important thing is that there is competition within the team. There are a lot of matches and we can not handle them with only eleven players

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu also insisted the club are going to stick with Dembele

"The option of selling him is not on the table," Bartomeu said in May."We are finishing the season and then there will be meetings

He's an investment for the future. He is very young and we expect a lot from him

Man Utd transfer news: Harry Maguire is 'ready' to star for Manchester United - Grayson - Duration: 2:34.

United will have to make Maguire the most expensive defender in history if they are to lure him from Leicester City

United face a serious battle to land Maguire and will have to shell out in the region of £80million to get him

This would be more than the world-record £75m Liverpool spent on prising Virgil van Dijk from Southampton last season

But Grayson, previously in charge at Bradford, Sunderland and Leeds, thinks Maguire has what it takes to step up

"I think when you can do it on the highest stage at the World Cup, you should be ready," he told Sky Sports

"It's a big step up - of course it is, playing for a club like Manchester United if that was to happen - but I'm sure he'd take it in his stride as he seems that type of lad where nothing seems to faze him

" The Foxes have no intention of selling the England star and still hope he will sign a new deal at the King Power Stadium

They will only consider selling Maguire, 25, if he makes it clear to them that he wants to go to Old Trafford - and they will demand a fee of £80m for a player who cost them just £17m from Hull 12 months ago

It means United have made back-up plans with Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld an alternative option

Grayson added: "Maguire has played a lot more in the last few years, he's slightly younger, but ultimately it'll come down to which one will be available

"Both Tottenham and Leicester City may not want to sell. One club might want to sell and the other not

"It's very difficult at this time of the year as lots of people are linked with moves but it needs to take two willing parties to make that happen

"

Your 2018 iPhone may be slower than Android phones ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:15.

That's because Apple's upcoming iPhones will use only Intel modems, Qualcomm inferred,

and that could mean slower network speeds.

Apple appears to be making some big changes to the chips in its upcoming iPhones -- and

that could mean your next iPhone downloads data slower than rival Android devices.

Qualcomm, a major supplier of 4G chips for smartphones, on Wednesday said it doesn't

expect to supply modems for any upcoming iPhones.

"We believe Apple intends to solely use our competitor's modems rather than our modems

in its next iPhone release," Qualcomm financial chief George Davis said during an earnings

call with analysts.

Cristiano Amon, the head of Qualcomm's chip business, noted that it doesn't mean Qualcomm

has lost Apple's business forever, but it's out for now.

"This is a very dynamic industry," he said during the earnings call.

"If the opportunity presents itself, I think we will be a supplier of Apple."

Apple and Qualcomm have been fighting over patents since the beginning of 2017.

Qualcomm previously supplied all modems for iPhones,

but Apple now uses 4G chips from Intel in about half of its phones -- particularly those

running on AT&T and T-Mobile networks.

The move gave Apple more leverage in its battle with Qualcomm, but it has been criticized

for hurting consumers by limiting their network speeds.

Qualcomm didn't say which company will supply modems for the next iPhone, but it's believed

to be Intel.

Apple's apparent move to source its chips from one supplier could have big implications

for your next iPhone.

Going back to one chip provider could make it tougher for Apple to keep up with demand

for its upcoming iPhones, which means you may have to wait even longer to get your hands

on a new device.

And speed tests have shown Qualcomm-powered smartphones are capable of faster network

speeds than the devices running on Intel processors.

Breaking News - Bottas DEMANDS meeting with Mercedes bossWolff over 'wingman' remark - Duration: 3:41.

Valtteri Bottas has called for an urgent meeting with his Mercedes bosses after being left angered by comments he is Lewis Hamilton's wingman

The usually cool and collected Finn was reeling in his post-race interview when the comments of his boss Toto Wolff - who labelled Bottas a 'sensational wingman' - were relayed to him

After looking in control in second place, a masterclass in defensive driving, it all went wrong for Bottas when he was clipped by Sebastian Vettel causing serious damage to his front wing

The Mercedes driver then clipped Daniel Ricciardo, forcing him to swap places to avoid a penalty as his team-mate cruised to his fifth victory of the season

When asked where the positives lay in Budapest, Bottas was in no mood to search for them and 'wingman' proved the final straw

'What positives? First of all wingman hurts,' he told SkySportsF1. 'There are no positives from today

We thought in theory we should have been able to do that one stop. We had to stop earlier than we wanted because of Kimi (Raikkonen), we had to cover him, and still 20 laps before the end everything was feeling OK with good control and the pace and my position

'But the rear tyres started to die. I tried to defend the best I could, as aggressive as I could, but it just ended up being a bit of a mess in the end with the broken front wing and everything

' When asked whether he had to simply accept playing second fiddle to Hamilton, Bottas revealed he wants an urgent meeting with bosses to establish his position in the team

'We need to speak after this race. We are over halfway through the year and the points gap is big so I'm sure the team will decide at some point,' he continued

The two late collisions became a major talking point in what proved a relatively quiet race before the summer break

Bottas played down both collisions as he fixated on the comments of his boss which clearly struck a chord

After the race concluded, he was handed a 10-second penalty, and two points on his licence but there was to be no change to the final result

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce wants to bring Liverpool winger Ben Woodburn to the club on loan

The forward came on as substitute in the Reds' 4-1 victory over Manchester United on Saturday

The youngster has looked sharp in pre-season with Jurgen Klopp hailing him following the big win against Jose Mourinho's men

'Ben Woodburn is 100% back for example,' he said. 'How it is with young boys, from time to time the improvement doesn't go day by day, but he has played such a good pre-season

' Bruce is now free to press ahead with transfers following Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens' takeover and the manager is keen to wrap up several deals

Woodburn recently signed signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool but he's expected to be withdrawn from their training camp in France in order to complete a temporary move away from Anfield

Trump willing to 'shut down' government over border security - Daily News - Duration: 2:15.

President Trump said he'd be willing to "shut down" the government unless Democrats in Congress help pass immigration reform, including funding for his long-touted border wall, saying "we need great people coming into our Country!"  "I would be willing to 'shut down' government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc

and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT!," he posted on Twitter Sunday

"We need great people coming into our Country!"  Trump spent much of the weekend at his golf resort in New Jersey railing about Democrats not supporting his immigration policies, saying all they do is "Resist" and "Obstruct," while claiming they want "Open Borders

"  Earlier Sunday, he said "there are consequences when people cross our Border illegally," referring to the separation of children from their parents, and called on Congress to repair "the DUMBEST & WORST" immigration laws in the world

He concluded with a campaign message: "Vote 'R.'"  His administration has come under blistering criticism for separating children from their parents over its "zero tolerance" immigration crackdown to deter immigrants from trying to cross the border illegally

The government in a court filing said it had met a Thursday deadline set by a federal judge by reuniting more than 1,800 children with their parents or guardians

But another 711 children would remain separated because their parents either had been deported or had criminal records

I'm Bryan May in the State Operations Center Cal OES headquarters, I just want

to give you an update on the largest of the fires that are burning across

California on this Sunday morning and there are about twelve large wildfires

burning it this morning. I'm gonna run down the top four of those

and we'll start at the northern part of the state and work our way down. So the

Carr Fire, that's the large one in Shasta County, over 89,000 acres

and still just five percent contained, latest number about five hundred

structures destroyed in that fire so far. Working our way down to the Mendocino

Complex fire this is a fire that spans both Mendocino and Lake counties, they

combined it into one, it was two fires originally, it's now one large fire

24,000 acres, 10% containment and overnight that fire caused a massive

power outage in those two counties Mendocino and Lake County at one point,

there were about 37,000 people without power as of this morning all but about

500 of those have been restored. In Mariposa County, the Ferguson Fire, that's

the one that's had blanketed the

Yosemite valley with smoke, the Ferguson

Fire over 53,000 acres now containment up to 30% and then in Riverside County,

the Cranston Fire, 13,130 acres, containment at 29%. All of these fires

still very dynamic with incredibly hot temperatures across the state so, firefighters

continue to work on people getting back to their homes as safely and as soon as

possible. You can continue to monitor all of our social media feeds Facebook
