hello and welcome to a new video by Airsofttipps today with
our first news video and it its about a weapon we've already been
able to hold in our hands, the PDW 9mm SBR from King Arms could
We did not know it by this title at that time. More like MP5/M4 thing.
because purely externally, it can best be described as a very compact PDW style
M4 that accepts MP5 magazine so a little bit like the ARP9 just without the
need to have to buy magazine only for this
that are only suitable for this weapon something very interesting for MP5
users like myself as already mentioned we saw the PDW
9mm SBR I shorten this now with PDW already on the IWA 2018
we were able to show this there and make two videos you'll find both
here at the end in the credits back then there was only one prototype
and now King Arms has released 4 variants of this very compact weapon
that are the PDW 9mm SBR, SBR Shorty, SBR M-LOK and SBR SD
These differ mainly by the front of the weapon so the
handguard as well as the outerbarrel on the IWA King Arms showcased the SD variant
So in principle an M-LOK with a mounted silencer
but probably also this is also removable so I would preder the SD variant
against the "normal" M-LOK variant
the PDW follows the current trend of very light and very compact weapons
therefore, the receiver is a mostly made out of polymer also the handguard
that gives the shortest variant the SBR Shorty
a weight of less than two kilograms, unfortunately, we have currently only data
about the Shorty variant available but because the weapons of this series hardly differ
these data can serve as a good basis
the SBR Shorty is with retracted stock is 53cm long and with extended stock
63 cm long the barrel has a length of 13.5 cm
The Shorty weighs 1.7 kg without the magazine of course
it has an adjustable hop-up and it has
of course a V2 Gearbox in this case also directly with a Mosfet
the energy will be somewhere between 1.3 and 1.6 joules for Japan, Australia and also
Canada, special low-energy versions are now available of course
Now a little bit to the exterior of the weapons these all have the currently
popular and very compact PDW Stock this can be retraced quickly without a
button and under it is also very well hidden
the battery compartment where the battery can be accommodated
I also noticed In addition is the huge Magcatch also you can
decide whether to either use this on the right side or just use that
MP5-tpye on the bottom again one thing that makes the weapon definitely
interesting for MP5 users like me als very interesting is the the flatt
trigger and the slightly stronger protruding safety and fire selector lever
Well, now to the different versions as already mentioned
there are a total of 4 variants of this PDW
the most compact variant is the Shorty from which all our data comes from
it has a very short barrel and a normal handguard with 22 mm rails
the M-LOK version appears als just as compact as the Shorty
the main difference is here, of course as the name suggests, the M-LOK
System instead of the 22 mm system Another difference can be seen at the
end of the barrel the Shorty has a relatively normal birdcage
flashhider while the M-LOK has a very massive supressor
from the SD variant comes our own video footage because that was the variant
which we could test at the IWA this is basically an M-LOK variant
with a silencer attached
The SBR variant has a long outerbarrel and a long hand guard
here again with traditional 22 mm
Picatinny rails we don't know if the innerbarrel is also longer
but I would guess it is.
All in all a very compact and interesting pdw for fast playing styles
when and if this comes to Germany unfortunately it is still unknown in
Germany, most King Arms products are distributed by Sniper-as,
Kotte & Zeller and the Softairstore when and if one of them gets
one or all variants is not known yet
so that was it already for this video i Hope you liked it and what I
personally would be interested in: which variant would you like to get and why?
so please leave me a comment here
Of course we'll write also a small posting in our blog
otherwise you can also write a comment in the blog cause
currently there still not much going on I'm always happy if there's more activity
So that's it for this Video. Good by and "Man trifft sich"
