 Σαν κεραυνός εν αιθρία «έσκασε» το απόγευμα της Κυριακής η είδηση ότι η Τζέσυ Παπουτσή έφυγε από τη ζωή έπειτα από 62 ημέρες νοσηλείας στην ΜΕΘ του νοσοκομείο «Γ

Γεννηματάς».  Κάτι που ωστόσο λίγοι έχουν παρατηρήσει, είναι πως η αγαπημένη ηθοποιός συνήθιζε στις δημόσιες εμφανίσεις της να φοράει πάντα μαύρα ρούχα

 Η Τζέσυ Παπουτσή σε συνέντευξή της το 2013 είχε αποκαλύψει πως φορούσε πάντα μαύρα, ως ένδειξη αγάπης στο σύζυγό της Γιάννη Μανιό, ο οποίος είχε χάσει το 2012 σε τραγικό δυστύχημα την αδερφή του, τον άντρα της και τα δυο του ανίψια

NYCHA repair bill estimated to reach $31.8 billion - Daily News - Duration: 2:24.

 The repair bill for New York City's embattled Housing Authority is now estimated to reach an astonishing $31

8 billion, according to new figures set to be released today.  That's nearly double the $16

6 billion estimate from the authority's last top-to-bottom assessment of its 326 housing developments across the five boroughs, which are now 60 years old on average

 More than 400,000 New Yorkers live in NYCHA housing.  The Housing Authority said the repair bill has ballooned because of its aging stock, that repairs requested as part of a previous assessment in 2011 were never funded, inflation, and growing labor costs

 The new, subway-sized repair bill comes as the lead scandal that has engulfed NYCHA continues to grow

 City Hall quietly admitted late Saturday that the Department of Health found levels of lead that exceeded federal guidelines in 820 blood tests from children who live in Housing Authority apartments

 Officials said the Health Department did not launch investigations into the source of the lead exposures found in those tests, because it did not meet the city's threshold for home inspections — which was double the federal level of 5 micrograms per deciliter

 Instead, parents received a letter informing them of their child's elevated lead count

 Outraged city Comptroller Scott Stringer said Sunday he was ordering a top-to-bottom investigation over the latest failure

Headline: Geoffrey The Giraffe To NXT?

Children of the 1980s and 90s mourned last week when the magical place with toys in their

millions all under one roof, Toys R Us closed its doors for the final time on June 29th.

The popular toy retailer announced it had filed for bankruptcy in September last year,

which now means its lovable mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe is out of a job.

But all is not lost.

NXT recently held tryouts for various independent wrestlers including former Impact stars Robbie

E [2] and Laurel Van Ness and wrestling journalist Scott Fishman sent a tweet to Triple H to

suggest a new name to add to the list.

"Dear @TripleH, Please sign Geoffrey the Giraffe to #WWENXT or the #WWE main roster.

Has the size, charisma and good with the fans.

He would be a great asset to your organization."

A recommendation Triple H has taken seriously.

"You know what they say, Geoffrey when one door closes...another one opens!" posting

a picture of the Giraffe at the NXT Performance Centre.

Headline: Kenny Omega Apologises For CEO x NJPW Controversy

Over the week current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega put on CEO x NJPW: When Worlds

Collide [8-screen] which took place in Florida at the CEO Fighting Game Championships.

The whole event is available to watch on their Twitch channel which CageSideSeats called

"a tough watch" and noted it was, "part of Kenny Omega's dream of bringing the gaming

and wrestling fandoms together."

The main event of the show however was a lot of fun and saw The Golden Loves take on Tetsuya

Naito and Hiromu Takahashi, which will have enraged Jim Cornette when Ibushi feigned locking

up with Darryl the stuffed cat.

However there was a more controversial choice made in the show; featuring Chasyn Rance in

the first dark match of the evening.

Rance is a registered sex offender, which is something Omega was clearly unaware of.

After being sent messages about it on social media, the Cleaner responded, "I produced

all matches from dark match #2 on.I gave the ring crew (also a wrestling school) carte

Blanche to have our first dark.

No entrances,no name graphics.

And thus they had a match.

I met Chasyn once in 2004 so his name was familiar.

The other guy I'd never met.

Regardless of their history or whatever, this crew of people were all very helpful in set

up, tear down, and various odd jobs around the arena.

I'd felt giving them the opportunity to have a dark match was the least I could do

as a way to show appreciation.

I'm gutted that people feel betrayed by their involvement, but at no point did I feel

I was working with criminals or anything of the sort.

As I'd said earlier, they were nothing but polite and helpful throughout the entire experience.

I'll know better for next time to only use those I'm absolutely familiar/comfortable

with."

Posting a further explanation later on which offered personal refunds to anyone in attendance.

But we're now about to head into the Spoiler Room Brawl so if you don't want anything

from the latest ROH tapings spoiled then I would suggest you leave now.

Headline: New ROH Champion Crowned!

Dalton Castle won the Ring of Honor Championship at Final Battle 2017, but his run has had

its fair share of issues - with Castle dealing with injuries for most of 2018 including a

back fracture and nerve damage.

It was because of this that many people expected Castle to lose the ROH Championship at Best

in the World when he faced Marty Scurll and Cody in a triple threat - but he managed to

retain once again.

However Castle's near 200-day reign as Champion is now over, losing the title in a match from

Fairfax that is available to watch now exclusively on HonorClub.

Castle defended the belt in a Fatal Four-Way which included Matt Taven, Cody and Jay Lethal,

and the finish saw it come down to Castle and Lethal after a Tower of Doom Spot.

After a series of nearfalls, Jay hit the Lethal Injection to become a 2x Ring of Honor Champion.

Lethal is set to defend the Championship against Cody, and will be a part of All In on September

1st.

Arsenal news : Steven N'Zonzi 'tells Sevilla he wants to leave' amid Gunners links ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 1:54.

Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi.

The Frenchman is currently on international duty with Didier Deschamps' side, who booked

their place in the last eight of the World Cup on Saturday.

But back home, N'Zonzi has been the subject of some big transfer speculation.

Reports suggest Unai Emery wants a reunion with the Sevilla star this summer.

And according to Spanish claims, the Arsenal boss may be about to get his wish.

Estadio Deportivo are today reporting that N'Zonzi has told Sevilla he wishes to leave

the club this summer.

The former Blackburn star has previously asked to depart the La Liga outfit to no avail.

However, Estadio Deportivo claim N'Zonzi firmly believes this will be the final summer he

spends at the club.

Emery is also said to be looking at fellow Sevilla star Ever Banega.

The Argentinian is also reportedly unhappy in Spain after the club sacked Oscar Arias

earlier this year.

The former Sevilla sporting director is incredibly close with Banega and his family.

Arias is said to be one of the main reasons the player decided to return to Seville after

a short stint with Inter Milan in 2016.

The 52-year-old was sacked after Sevilla's 5-0 Copa del Rey final defeat to Barcelona

in April.
