Cristiano Ronaldo transfer news: Zinedine Zidane provides update on Real Madrid star

Real managed to beat Liverpool 3-1 after Gareth Bale came on off the bench to run the show.

With two minutes of coming on, the Welshman scored what could be touted as the best goal in a Champions League final.

And with around 10 minutes to spare, the 28-year-old let fly from range which was knocked in by Loris Karus after a howler.

But where Bale shone Ronaldo wilted, and did not have a huge impact on the game whatsoever.

Ronaldo, 33, then revealed after the match that it could have been his last game for the Bernabeu outfit.

But Zidane was quick to dismiss this, saying that the former Manchester United star was going nowhere.

No thats not what Im thinking about, he said when asked about Ronaldos comments.

Real Madrid news: Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Isco could all leave - Spanish media

That's according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon who reckon the Spaniard is ready to pack his bags.

Los Blancos secured a historic third European triumph after defeating Liverpool 3-1 Kiev.

Gareth Bale bagged a brace after coming off the bench - but Isco was the player who was sacrificed for the Welshman.

Despite Zinedine Zidane's game-changing call, Don Balon insist the former Malaga told Zidane he didn't want to be the first change.

Isco might not be the only Real star angling for a transfer in the coming weeks.

Speaking after the game, Bale suggested he could pack his bags too.

He said: I need to be playing week in, week out and that has not happened this season.

"I had an injury five, six weeks in but fit ever since.

I have to sit down with my agent in the summer and discuss it..

"Isco has told Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane he wants to leave" Bale added: "Obviously I was very disappointed not to start the game, I felt I deserved it but the manager makes the decisions.

"The best I have been doing is to come on and make an impact, I certainly did.

It has to be the best goal in a Champions League final, there is no bigger stage.

I am just happy to get the win.

It is a team game but when you are a substitute, it is a game of more than 11 players.

I made an impact.

We know what we have achieved and how good we have been.

The league was disappointing but we won the Champions League.

It turns out to be a great season.

We let everyone else speak.

We know how hungry we are in the changing room, how prepared and motivated we are. Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been linked with Bale recently and will surely now be on red alert after his latest comments.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, sensationally hinted that he might also call time on his Real career.

He said after the match: It was very nice to be at Real Madrid.

In the coming days I will give a response to the fans, who have always been at my side..
