Barcelona midfielder Rafinha will ask to leave the Catalan club mid way through the January
transfer window if he is not involved in first team matches, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 24 year old has been sidelined with a knee injury since April, and had to undergo
another operation in October after a setback in his recovery.
He has expected to be fully fit after Spain's winter break, but the player remains uncertain
on his role at the club.
Rafinha is reportedly concerned about losing his chance of playing at the World Cup with
Brazil,
and Mundo Deportivo report that if he isn't involved in the Spanish Cup last 16 clash
against Celta Vigo or for the league games against Levante or Real Sociedad,
he will ask the club whether it is time to move on.
Arsenal, Juventus, Inter Milan and Liverpool have all reportedly tracked the Brazilian
international over the past few months, but none have placed a formal offer on the table
due to the player's injury issues.
Now with the midfielder returning to full fitness, and likely to be available to sign
in January, will the Gunners revive their interest?
