Improve your English and photography skills through storytelling!

Practice photography and writing to tell stories about your life in Denver.

Free Culinary Course at EGTC!

Culinary Quick Start is a new program at Emily Griffith Technical College.

It is an introduction to careers in a professional kitchen.

No restaurant experience is required to participate.

Men and women are welcome.

Program Overview:

· Starts June 5th · 4 weeks (20 classes) · Monday thru Friday, 5:30 – 9:30 pm

· Job Fair is part of the program Location: 1860 Lincoln Street

Free Information Session about Career Programs

Learn more about certificate programs for a new or different career!

Come to an information session on Wednesday, June 14th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in room 661

to hear information and ask questions about the following programs:

Accounting, Culinary Arts, Dental Assistant, Event Planning, GED, GIS (Geographic Information Systems)

Legal Office, Medical Clerical, Office Administration, Pharmacy Technician,

Professional Baking and Design, and Video Production and Editing

FREE Math Club in the Student Success Center When: Mondays/Thursdays (1:00-3:00)

and Tuesdays/Wednesdays (9:00-12:00) Location: room 653

FREE Nurse Services on Wednesdays from 8:00 - 4:00

Services: health assessment, parenting resources, health education, and referral services

For: STUDENTS; no appointment is necessary.

When: Wednesdays (8:00 - 4:00) Location: Student Success Center, 6th floor

Student Success Center - June Hours

The Student Success Center is a resource room for students on floor 6 (room 653).

Students are welcome to use computers or study here any time.

There are also specific hours for tutoring services:

Computer Assistance (BrightSpace, Google, email, printing, general questions)

Monday-Thursday 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.

Math Drop-In Tutoring Tuesdays 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Wednesdays 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Reading or help with Scholarship Essays Drop-in Tutoring

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
