From Kim Kardashian to Apple CEO Tim Cook, America is mourning the loss of our nation's
principles, thanks to Donald Trump's Muslim ban.
The ban, which temporarily restricts refugee's and immigrants from 7 predominately Muslim
countries to enter the U.S., was signed Friday by the President and almost immediately, American's
protested, donated against, and denounced him.
Since the signing, things have rapidly unfolded in support of those affected.
Saturday morning, news broke of two Iraqi refugees being detained at JFK.
Protesters flooded terminal 4 with makeshift signs and chats saying, "No hate, no fear,
Muslims are welcome here".
Protests spread around the country and The American Civil Liberties Union filed a class
action lawsuit against Trumps policy, which ultimately led to a federal judge blocking
the immigration ban, and granting a nationwide temporary stay, allowing people with Visa's
to remain in the United States.
However the stay still cannot allow those wishing to come into the country, it applies
to those currently in transit.
After learning this, celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna used their platform
to condemn Trump.
Disgusted!
The news is devastating!
America is being ruined right before our eyes!

Kim Kardashian tweeted a chart showing the different ways in which Americans die each
year, showing 2 die per year by Islamic jihadist immigrants and over 11 thousand die of being
shot by another American.
She paired the chart with a caption simply reading, "statistics."
CEO's like Apple's Tim Cook, and Netflix's Reed Hastings have voiced their disapproval
of Trumps ban.
Cook sent an e-mail to all employees rejecting Trump's example and instead shedding light
on how Apple will support those affected.
"Apple is open.
Open to everyone, no matter where they come from, which language they speak, who they
love or how they worship.
Our employees represent the finest talent in the world, and our team hails from every
corner of the globe.
In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, 'We may have all come on different ships, but
we are in the same boat now.'"
While we all can voice our opinions on opposing the direction our Nation is heading, speech
must be followed by action.
It begins with changing the condition of your heart, mentality, and practical habits.
As far as other tangible ways to help, John Legend tweeted a link on how to support refugees
thanks to the International Rescue Committee.
