" City boss Pep Guardiola leapt to the defence of his player, saying: "I'm not concerned about the social media of the players, what they tweet or Instagram, or other social media

I cannot control it." Liverpool will be forced to play catch-up this weekend, with City hosting Arsenal on Sunday before Liverpool go to West Ham the following day

 Klopp faces going into the game with a makeshift defence yet again as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are still injured

 Gomez has a fractured lower leg and Klopp revealed he might need surgery before he can return

 "I don't know. We will see. It is possible (he will need surgery), probably," Klopp said

 "It is not exactly going how we want, that's how it is. He needs more time. We will see exactly how we do it

 "There were different moments when we thought we could do this or that. It will take time
