  The Academy Awards are just around the corner and there's lots of talk on who will be winning big on the night   We've had the BAFTAs and Golden Globes which are usually accurate predictions on who will win the most iconic award of them all - The Oscar

  Rami Malek has already won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, a BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role and is well on his way to a full house by winning an Oscar for Best Actor

  Olivia Colman is also tipped to win big on the night with period comedy-drama The Favourite and has already won Best Actress at the Golden Globes for her performance as the queen

Liverpool News - Klopp says Man City snubbed Liverpool over potential Sancho move - Duration: 1:48.

Jurgen Klopp has revealed Liverpool were interested in signing Jadon Sancho but were frustrated due to top Premier League clubs being unwilling to do business with each other

Liverpool face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night and it was a discussion about the state of German football - and the reason so many Bundesliga clubs are keen on signing young English players - that led Klopp to name-check Sancho

The 18-year-old left Manchester City in August 2017 and has become one of the hottest talents in Europe since Borussia Dortmund signed him for £8million; if the Germans ever look to sell Sancho, he will almost certainly cost more than £100million

Klopp believes his former club completed some shrewd business when they landed Sancho, but feels they had an easier task to get him because the Premier League's top six clubs would rarely - if ever - do business that would strengthen a rival

'Buying English players is a smart idea because we would never have a chance to get Sancho,' said Klopp

 'We are not blind - we saw him, we liked him and then we think "Can we get him?" No

Because English clubs don't sell to other English clubs.'I don't know exactly what the reason is for that but they don't do it

Now they can go to Germany which is a wonderful league. I don't see German football in a bad situation

' For all that Bayern Munich have had a difficult season, Klopp is under no illusion about the task Liverpool face to try and reach the quarter-finals

Bayern have been to the semi-finals in six of the past seven season and appeared in the last in every season since 2012

'The game is in a situation where the club (opponent) is not overly happy then it makes you more focused,' said Klopp, who is without the suspended Virgil van Dijk and is fretting about the fitness of Roberto Firmino

'It gives you really 100 per cent concentration on that game, nobody is flying brain wise in Bayern at the moment because they chase the league in the Bundesliga and they want to be as successful as possible and want to be in the cup and all that, and everything is possible for them

'So we have to be aware of that. That's what we are. We don't underestimate ourselves, we don't think we are not good enough

'We are a proper competitive side that's really cool, and in our stadium with our people we are a proper force

Emotion is very positive so let's show it.'

'He is a smart guy. He will not play if he has not chance or if he cannot run. The base of his performance is his physicality

I think it will be patient now, do the rehab and let's see when May comes around if he is hitting a tennis ball

 'That is the ultimate moment when we all find out. I wouldn't rule it out seeing Andy Murray again

Liverpool News - Jurgen Klopp sends message to Liverpool stars ahead of crunch Bayern clash - Duration: 3:06.

 In the past six seasons, Bayern Munich have reached the semi final of the Champions League FIVE times, winning it once

  In fact, only once over the last 12 years have they failed to reach at least the quarter final stage – and yet Liverpool are favourites to win their upcoming epic showdown in the competition

 And according to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, that is the truly incredible mark of just how far his side have come in his time at Anfield

 "It's a huge game. It is a game you want to see and maybe that is the biggest achievement for my team so far – we are back not only in the competition but people think we could win it," he said with relish

 "That's good but still a lot of work to do. We don't underestimate ourselves, we don't think we are not good enough

 "We are a proper competitive side that's really cool, and in our stadium with our people we are a proper force

 "And so we have to show that again tomorrow night and make life as uncomfortable as possible for them

"  Liverpool know they have the weapons to defeat even a team as assured as Bayern in Europe

They showed as much on their way to final last season, and they sense fear from the Germans

 Several of the Munich stars have already suggested the Reds are favourites, and they have spoken of the emotion of Anfield giving the English club a massive edge

 And Klopp wants to use that atmosphere to really press the home advantage, and let his old enemy Bayern know they are in for a huge scrap

 "We know there is a lot of talk about it – the most emotional stadium in Europe and all that stuff," he said

 "Now in Germany they described us as the most emotional club in the world. So, emotion is very positive, let's show that tomorrow

 "People called me in the last few days to tell me Germany, or football Germany, is going mad over this game and that's how it is

 "We have to create an atmosphere on the pitch and make it easier for the people

 "It will be outstanding. It's something to enjoy - there's a lot of power involved in the atmosphere

"  Not that Klopp believes it will be easy. As manager of Dortmund, he found a way to break their stranglehold on the German game

but he has nothing but respect for a club that he almost joined as manager way back in 2008

 "Making these kind of personal battles out of it I don't understand. Yes I was manager of Dortmund and had a bit of success there and it was always difficult to play against Bayern

 "To beat them was the biggest challenge you could face in German football, always

Sometimes we did it and sometimes we didn't. I don't see it as a personal thing for me

 "It is two big clubs facing each other and I am really happy to be part of this game

"  The pressure will keep coming for Liverpool after tonight, with a trip to Old Trafford on Sunday in the league

 Klopp added: "We have only tough months in the season. We've had a lot of tough months, it's always tough

 "We take it game by game. We can't think about United. We are a really strong side and that is what we have to show

 "It's difficult for me to answer the question but for all Liverpool fans it's the Premier League

That's clear.  "But for now it's the Champions League and we have to do our best tomorrow

Thank God we don't have to decide that right now."

Danniella Westbrook spotted for the first time since checking into rehab - News Today - Duration: 2:43.

  Danniella Westbrook has been pictured out and about for the first time since checking into rehab

 The former EastEnders star, 45, was seen taking a break from treatment to pick up supplies at the corner shop

 She's enrolled in a facility in a last-ditch attempt to beat her long-running drug addiction after accepting help from TV's Jeremy Kyle

 Danniella has now been spotted for the first time in almost two weeks as she popped out to visit a store close to the rehab centre where she's been staying

 Pictures show her chatting with two men and a woman as she headed into the shop to pick up some bits

 She's had a huge grin on her face and looked much happier than she's done in a while

 Danniella's outing comes after she admitted she has to be accompanied by a counsellor and a support worker if she wants to go shopping

 She tweeted: "Went off to Aldi's today with my counsellor and support worker, went and bought the food and that, and yeah, just keeping you updated, so thank you for your love and support

   "I'm doing well, I'm just going to jump in the shower because I'm stinking of roast chicken, and go off to a CA meeting, but everything in life is good, sending you all loads of love and I hope you're all well"  At the start of this month, Danniella revealed she'd agreed to undergo treatment for three months on the advice of Jeremy Kyle

  In a post on Twitter , the actress confirmed she's started 10 weeks of intensive treatment to help her get clean again

 She wrote: "The first day on a 10 week program which will change my life make me strong and give me the tools too never feel the way I've felt the last four years

 "I'm never looking back.    "I'm grateful & excited 2 have the chance 2 get the drug free life I had for 14years back

 "Thank u 4 ur support."  It came after she'd appeared on The Jeremy Kyle show and declared she'd be taking "11 bags of cocaine a day" if she could afford to

 Jeremy insisted she needed professional help and agreed to pay for her to go to rehab

Why Jussie Smollett may have staged his attack - Latest News - Duration: 4:09.

 Jussie Smollett was so irked that a threatening letter he received didn't spark enough outrage that he hired two men to stage a hate attack against him, according to a report on Monday

 Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation pointed to the letter as a potential motive in the "Empire" star's baffling case, CBS Chicago reported

   "When the letter didn't get enough attention, he concocted the staged attack," a source told the network

 A week before he was allegedly attacked in Chicago on Jan. 29, Smollett received a suspicious letter at Fox Studios in the city

 "You will die black f–," read the message, which was written with cut-out letters from a magazine

 The letter also featured a photo of a stick figure apparently hanging from a tree and a gun pointing at it

"MAGA" was scrawled in red letters on the envelope.  Smollett, 36, was upset that the news of the creepy letter didn't get a "bigger reaction," sources said

 Meanwhile, Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, the brothers who are believed to have been paid by the actor to carry out the alleged assault, made their first public statement since being outed in the Smollett saga

 "We are not racist. We are not homophobic, and we are not anti-Trump. We were born and raised in Chicago and are American citizens," they said in a joint statement

 The Nigerian-born bodybuilding siblings told cops that they rehearsed the "attack" against Smollett — and even scouted locations with him, TMZ reported on Monday, citing law enforcement sources

 They chose a spot just outside Smollett's apartment in the ritzy Streeterville neighborhood because he believed a camera would've captured the attack

 Police later found that the camera actually picked up nothing — because it was pointed in the wrong direction

29 assault in.  Smollett informed the pair that he wanted the assault to be a "physical thing" but warned them that he didn't want to be seriously injured

 The Osundairos — who post photos of their beefy bodies on Instagram — "made contact" with Smollett's face but it was "weak," they told cops

 They said the attack was not intended to seriously hurt him.  The brothers showed up at the location on Jan

29 but were nervous because a car drove by just as they pounced on Smollett. They feared they could be identified

 The brothers were arrested last Wednesday but released without charges two days later — as police revealed new evidence in the case "shifted the trajectory" of their investigation

The budding actor-models are cooperating.  Police raided the pair's Chicago apartment last week, seizing a variety of evidence, including bleach, a red hat, a magazine and a book of stamps
