MAJOR NEWS JUST BROKE ABOUT ROBERT MUELLER, HE MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT !

Robert Mueller's investigation has officially carried over into 2018.

With most signs pointing to Mueller wrapping up his work this year, Trump remains in the

Special Counsel's crosshairs.

But Trump's personal lawyer just stunned Mueller in just eight words.

Rudy Giuliani – who currently serves as President Trump's lawyer – chose to ring

in the New Year by calling out Mueller in a way no one expected.

Giuliani seems to have had enough of Mueller.

In a recent interview with a New York radio host, Giuliani revealed his belief that Robert

Mueller has finished his work months ago, and that he continues to drag the process

on in order to get the press' attention.

The Hill reports, "Giuliani claimed that Mueller's team has known since "May or

June" that there is no evidence to support the allegation that members of Trump's campaign

knowingly worked with Russians during the 2016 election."

"It should have been wrapped up probably in May or June.

That's when they figured out they had no evidence of collusion," Giuliani said.

Giuliani went further, however, adding that there is no evidence that the President broke

the law, collided with the Russians, or hacked the Democratic National Committee in 2016.

He then wrapped up his interview by dropping a bomb on Mueller in just eight words.

"It's time to put up or shut up."

Giuliani explicitly called on Mueller to drop the charade and come out with concrete evidence

tying President Trump to any illegal activity in 2016.

Giuliani is confident that Mueller is dragging this process out because there is zero evidence

of any wrongdoing on the President's part.

And he's tired of the Special Counsel continuing to make headlines over a story that has produced

a lot of smoke but no fire in 2018.

The call to put up or shut up suggests that Trump's legal team is confident Mueller

is in over his head.

Either he continues to revel in the media coverage and cheerleading in his crusade against

the President, or he believes he's just one more round of speculation-filled investigations

away from finally getting a hold of that alleged smoking gun that would implicate Trump.

The problem for Mueller is that roughly two years into his investigation, no smoking guns

have been revealed.

Trump knows that, Mueller knows that, and Giuliani knows that.

And Giuliani is now taking that simple fact to the public.

But Giuliani isn't just playing defense.

The Hill reports, "[Giuliani] also called this week for Mueller, who formerly served

as director of the FBI, to be investigated for destruction of evidence related to missing

text messages detailing conversations between FBI employees…who were removed from the

investigation over alleged anti-Trump bias."

Giuliani told the media that he thinks Mueller should himself be investigated over political

malpractice related to the agency's practices in investigating various cases related to

the President.

up"?Let us know your thoughts in the comments

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp receives bad news ahead of Man City clash - Duration: 3:33.

Liverpool have forged a seven-point lead on City over the festive period, sweeping away sides with consummate ease

Pep Guardiola's men, meanwhile, have stuttered amid the congested fixture list, suffering shock losses to Crystal Palace and Leicester

A win at home against their title rivals would once more keep City on Liverpool's tails, but a loss would leave them a daunting 10 points adrift

The Sky Blues have enjoyed a successful season despite their recent form, often displaying creative genius without their midfield linchpin De Bruyne

**PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 - FREE TO PLAY HERE** The Belgian midfielder scored eight goals last season, registered 18 assists and epitomised the fluid, attacking machine which Guardiola sculpted in his second season in charge

De Bruyne suffered a torn knee ligament in August, however, sustained during a "freak incident" in training

The 27-year-old returned in mid-October but suffered another knee ligament injury during a Carabao Cup appearance

He recovered from that to make a substitute appearance on December 22 in the loss to Palace and played 70 minutes against Leicester, but did not even travel to Southampton last time out due to a muscle injury

Ahead of the Liverpool clash, Guardiola revealed at his Wednesday press conference that the genial playmaker has been training

"He trained today. Tomorrow we need to have another check in the morning, but he's much better," said the Spanish coach

When posed with the prospect of preparing for the league's most creative player, Klopp said: "Kevin De Bruyne is a fabulous player

"Missing a player like him is a massive blow. He is very influential. He is a world class player

I expected he is back. "I am happy that he's back and is not seriously injured again

I love the player. Everyone who loves football should love him." The German went on to describe City as "the best football team in the world", but his counterpart had similar praise

"At the moment Liverpool are the best team in Europe for the way they play and control the details in their game," Guardiola retorted

"It's a good challenge for us. I have the feeling it is a big opportunity for us to reduce the gap but our focus is the same

"Everybody asks what we are going to do if we lose, but we are going to try to make our game and to win it
