The Blues have impressed under Sarri, with Chelsea currently fourth in the Premier League

Sarri's men are desperate to finish in the top four this season to secure Champions League football for next campaign

And according to The Sun, Sarri is hoping to complete at least three deals this month

They say Sarri wants attacking reinforcements and at least one defender before the transfer window shuts

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic

Express Sport understands Chelsea are now closing in on Pulisic, which could free up Eden Hazard to finally make the move to Real Madrid

The Blues are ready to pay £45m to beat off competition from Liverpool and Arsenal for the American international

The 20-year-old playmaker, who has been a Chelsea target since the start of the season, is set move to Stamford Bridge in the summer

Chelsea will only consider parting with Hazard who is still stalling on signing a new deal once they have got a replacement signed and sealed

Sarri is desperate to keep hold of Hazard, however, the Belgium international's desire to join Real Madrid is well known

Hazard publicly talked up a move to the Bernabeu in the summer after impressing at the World Cup

Sarri has been vocal on Hazard's future, with the Italian urging the Stamford Bridge hero to stay

The Blues boss said: "I think that it's time to decide. "Will I sit down with him? No, because I don't have the power to do this

I am the coach, I am not the president. "I am not in charge of the market. I want to speak to him only about his position on the pitch

We have to solve this problem if we want to programme the future." Chelsea are back in action on Wednesday evening against Southampton in the Premier League (7:45pm kick off)

Chelsea latest news: Chelsea set to beat Liverpool to sign Christian Pulisic will join in the summer - Duration: 3:35.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri seems to have beaten several Premier league clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, in capturing the signature of the 20-year-old

It seems likely that the American's desire to play in the Premier League will come true with Chelsea confident a deal can be completed

However, any agreement is unlikely to see the player move in the January window as Dortmund want him to see out this season in the Bundesliga, and so the move is expected to occur in the summer

A further confirmation that a deal is about to be announced, came in the form of a social media post from American striker Eddie Johnson

The former Fulham, Cardiff and Preston forward posted picture of Pulisic in a half Dortmund and Chelsea kit

So stoked for you lil' bro, great move," Johnson wrote. "Can't wait to watch you alongside Eden Hazard

Although Chelsea fans might have to wait a few more months to see Pulisic sign, they can still expect some activity in the January transfer window

Sarri is reportedly looking to bring in reinforcements at the back, as the future of David Luiz at the club remains unresolved

The Brazilian defender's contract will expires in five months and no agreement has yet been agreed over an extension

However, fellow compatriot Willian is keen for the ex-PSG star to remain at Stamford Bridge

David has a lot of quality to do these kind of passes," Willian said.  "Of course

I want him to stay. We have to see if the club will want him. "I think they want him

For me, I want him to stay." Chelsea face Southampton on Wednesday and a victory at home will open up a five-point gap to fifth placed Arsenal

The Blues are currently 11 points of Premier League leaders Liverpool, who play Manchester City on Thursday
