[LEAM Project Leading to Evolve Through Music]
Music for me has a very big importance.
People always listen to music and perceive it. But not as much as you perceive it when you start studying music.
When my son Pedro was born, he was born with auditory deficit.
It was at that moment that I started to value music more. To listen to it in a different way.
[Where students acquire knowledge, values and attitudes.]
Indeed, to execute music in a deeper way you must feel it.
And sometimes music makes them reflect about family, friends, siblings.
Sometimes fighting siblings can create a bond through music, so they can play together.
Or calling the mother to also study at the music school.
And the famlity starts being more together. When there's a presentation of their kids...
They get really excited about it.
[And living the value of the family]
Music has also practically helped my child who had depression.
And I am very thankful, because music truly touches us and brought my son back.
Music has strengthened our family union even more.
My little brother Pedro will start having his battery classes.
My mom is learning keyboard and singing. Artur plays the guitar.
I play the keyboard, the guitar and sing.
So our household has turned into a music band.
[and serve the community]
Another important thing is to help others.
The elderly are part of this job and it's the world's most beautiful thing to do.
Who knows how many of them suffer from depression, how many are abandoned.
Their moment of joy is while they are learning how to sing and dance.
I am truthfully thankful for the opportunity that we had here.
As my mother said, besides learning music, we visit other institutions
We make donation campaigns to help children, elderly people, homeless people.
We collect basic things to people from our own school here.
So I think it's way beyond of a simple school of music.
