It all started with a dream.

This dream became a seed

and the seed was planted in 1948.

The seed germinated immediately

because the aim was powerful:

to create an academic institution

that teaches students with rigor

while passing on to them evangelical values:

achievement,

generosity,

dedication and loyalty.

Little by little the roots grew stronger,

so much more stronger

that they became the foundations of a vigorous tree.

These roots enabled the tree to get the best from the earth

and grow very high.

They reminded us of who we were and where we came from

while allowing us to reach

for great future horizons.

And throughout the years the tree kept growing.

Always up

and with a thicker and thicker trunk:

strong – to resist the winds –

but also supple and flexible – so it will not break.

Seventy years went by since that first initiative,

the tree kept growing splendidly

and every season it gave fruits:

people who offered their very best

to the world, in order to change it and make it more caring.
