And the latest report shows that Markovic can join them with the Liverpool actively
discussing a potential deal with two clubs.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool was negotiating with Olympiacos and Standard on the 24-year-old
player.
Markovic had endured a four-season nightmare because he was purchased by the Liverpool
Brendan Rodgers at the price of 20 million.
And he seems to have pursued the move for lenders to Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull
and Anderlecht by implementing permanent conversions.
Olympiacos and Standard have emerged as the leading people for Markovic, who have not
played a competing match for Liverpool since 2015.
The winger can soon return to Europe from the Red Devil's Tour, where the Klopp team
will take Manchester United on Saturday.
Klopp was grabbed Xherdan Shaqiri beginning this month to provide competition for those
like Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
And the appearance of the Swiss international team in Merseyside pushed Markovic far beyond
the plans of Liverpool's first team.
Shaqiri followed Fabinho and Naby Keita, as well as Alisson before signing with Liverpool.
Manchester United's coach, Jose Mourinho, suggested that the four-fourth move had pressured
the Liverpool in the next season.
