Chelsea transfer news: Blues 'to ask' Zidane to be boss, Sarri deal OFF, Hazard instructed - Duration: 3:13.
Chelsea transfer news: Blues 'to ask' Zidane to be boss, Sarri deal OFF, Hazard instructed
Chelsea will ask Zinedine Zidane to jump straight back into management after his shock resignation at Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos boss left the Bernabeu yesterday despite winning a third straight Champions League crown against Liverpool.
And The Sun are now reporting that the Stamford Bridge club are prepared to walk away from top target Maurizio Sarri and ask Zidane to take over instead.
The France legend is expected to want some time out of the limelight but that will not stop the Blues from making an informal approach.
"Eden Hazard is a crowd-pleaser and definitely a big-name player that Real Madrid like" Ex-Chelsea star Frank Sinclair Chelsea are said to have ended their interest in Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues are widely expected to replace Antonio Conte this summer but Sarri is no longer thought to be in the running.
Sky Sports claim his problems with the Italian football authorities have put Chelsea off.
The most recent issue saw Sarri fined €20,000 and handed a two-game ban for alleged homophobic abuse of former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.
The Napoli boss denied the charge but was banned as a result of 'directing extremely insulting epithets at the coach of the opposing team'.
Other names linked with the Stamford Bridge job are Laurent Blanc and former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard should leave the club for Real Madrid or Barcelona this summer, according to Frank Sinclair.
He told Goal: "Chelsea will be doing everything they can to keep him there for at least another year, but Real Madrid were linked heavily last year and could come back in for him again.
"With Bale potentially leaving Madrid, I think Real will have a list of players that they will want to replace him with, and I believe that Hazard will be on there.
"Hazard is a crowd-pleaser and definitely a big-name player that Madrid like to bring in.
"I think if you put him on that stage and at a club like Real Madrid, he'll improve and become a better player.".

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Reportedly A Minor Upgrade Over Predecessor ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:47.
Samsung is expected to introduce a new Note-branded phablet in the second half of this year.
However, a new report claims the device won't be a major upgrade because it sports the same
design as its predecessor alongside upgraded internals.
The device will likely be called the Galaxy Note 9, and it is said to look just like last
year's Galaxy Note 8.
The sources who wished to remain anonymous shared that while the Note 9 doesn't sport
any noticeable design changes, its internals will be upgraded.
One aspect that will surely see an upgrade is the processor.
The Note 8 came with the Snapdragon 835 chipset, so the Note 9 will likely come with the Snapdragon
845 — the same processor powering the Galaxy S9 flagship series.
Sources pointed out that the launch event for the Note 9 will take place two weeks earlier
than the Unpacked event for the Note 8.
This is because the South Korean company is planning to release the high-end handset as
early as the end of August.
A spokesperson for Samsung declined to confirm Samsung's alleged release plan.
Previous reports claimed that Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 could sport an in-display fingerprint
sensor.
However, latest reports have already debunked such rumors, according to 9to5Google.
Given Bloomberg's latest report, it's now clear that Samsung has only prepared minor
upgrades for its flagships this year.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ were also minor upgrades of last year's Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also expected to introduce a new version of Bixby at the Note 9's launch
event.
At MWC 2018, Samsung's mobile chief DJ Koh said, "For Bixby 1.0, we focused on a fast
rollout to the market.
Expanding the ecosystem was difficult.
So Bixby 2.0 will strengthen this aspect and we are working intensely ... I think we will
be able to unveil Bixby 2.0 when we launch the Galaxy Note 9."

Arsenal transfer news: Gunners open talks with Barcelona over Ousmane Dembele
Gunners head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has sat down with representatives of the player to try and thrash out a deal.
Spanish outlet Sport claim Mislintat has stayed in contact with Dembele from the time they were together at Borussia Dortmund.
The 21-year-old made just 12 starts in La Liga for Barcelona this season following a blockbuster £97m transfer from Dortmund last summer.
Dembele has struggled for game time following the arrival of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.
New Arsenal boss Unai Emery is looking to strengthen this summer after succeeding Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
The Frenchman left the club after 22 years in charge at the end of the season.
It was a disappointing campaign for Arsenal as they finished down in sixth in the Premier League, a massive 37 points behind champions Manchester City.
Dembele is currently away with France preparing for the World Cup in Russia this summer.
The reports claim Barcelona may be hesitant about a permanent sale after shelling out such a huge amount for the forward.
But Arsenal could be open to taking Dembele on a loan deal as Emery looks to overhaul his side.
The Gunners have also been backed to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos by former striker Kevin Campbell.
"They need experience and toughness," he told ESPN FC.
"Because that is everything that Arsenal have lacked.
"That experience and that toughness and being able to go away and grind out a victory at one of your rivals, Arsenal havent done that in years.
"So that type of experience and knowledge is key.".

Arsenal transfer news: Barcelona talks opened, Liverpool lead Lemar race, Ozil worry claim
Arsenal have opened talks with Barcelona over Ousmane Dembele, according to reports in Spain.
"Liverpool are the outright favourites at 6/4 to get their hands on the Monaco star" BetStars spokesman on Thomas Lemar Liverpool are beating Arsenal in the race to sign Monaco ace Thomas Lemar, according to the bookies.
BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion explained: "Monaco star Thomas Lemar has emerged as one of Europe's brightest young talents and the Frenchman is expected to be in high demand following this summer's World Cup.
"Liverpool were within touching distance of completing a move for the 22-year-old back in January and the Reds are the outright favourites at 6/4 to get their hands on the Monaco star this time around.
"Arsenal are next in the running at 4/1 to finalise a deal for the highly-rated youngster who they were supposedly touting in January as a potential replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez.
"Both Manchester clubs are long shots at 12/1 to clinch the attacker's signature, while La Liga winners Barcelona trail behind at 14/1 to entice Lemar to the Nou Camp this summer." Mesut Ozil is Arsenal's best-paid player - but new boss Unai Emery isn't sure about the Germany star.
The German midfielder signed a mega new contract at the Emirates earlier this year and is tied to the club until 2021.
But Spanish journalist Kike Marin has revealed Emery is worried about Ozil.
He wrote on Twitter: "Ozil, which in the absence of offers in February renewed with the #Arsenal until 2021, is the player that most worries Emery.
"No one doubts his talent, but his commitment to a team that will require maximum involvement.
Quite a challenge for Unai.".

Man Utd transfer news: Fred signing to be announced NEXT WEEK as talks enter final stage
The Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder is set to become the first new addition at Old Trafford this summer.
Jose Mourinho has moved fast to replace the new retired Michael Carrick, while the future of Marouane Fellaini remains uncertain.
The Manchester Evening News claim most of the smaller details are being ironed out and United will officially announce Fred before the end of next week.
Fred is currently training with Brazil ahead of the World Cup.
The 25-year-old is preparing to face Croatia on Sunday at Anfield in a warm-up game.
After that Brazil face Austria in Vienna on June 10 before heading to the World Cup proper.
Manchester United are said to be hopeful of signing Fred for a price lower than his £52.5m release clause.
Former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva - Fred's agent - has been negotiating with the Red Devils since last week to try and get the deal done.
United boss Mourinho is looking to strengthen his squad this summer after finishing second in the Premier League.
The Special One also lost the FA Cup final to Chelsea leaving him without a trophy in his second season.
Starsport understands United are also in talks with Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld and Porto full-back Diogo Dalot.
Fred was impressive for Shakhtar this season, making 37 appearances in all competitions.
The Brazilian scored four goals and provided seven assists to his team-mates during the campaign.

European Union dot that would mean that as far as trade negotiations go we do
have that 500 million strong consumer market behind us and that would mean
