LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to offer defenders Alberto Moreno and Ragnar Klavan new contracts.
That's after Roberto Firmino improved his terms with a new five-year deal at Anfield
that makes him the club's highest-paid player on £180,000-a-week.
New deals for the Brazilian's fellow forwards Mohamed Salah, who has struck 43 goals in
his first season at the club, and Sadio Mane are expected to follow.
But the Reds are also set to offer extensions to Moreno and Klavan, so say Guardian Sport.
Klavan is due to enter the final year of the three-year contract he signed when he joined
Liverpool from Augsburg in July 2016 this summer.
And likewise Moreno's terms also expire in the summer of 2019 having not renewed his
terms since joining from Sevilla in August 2014.
The much-maligned Spaniard was expected to leave the club last summer but enjoyed a resurgence
in the first-half of the season.
An ankle injury kept him out for nearly two months and allowed summer signing Andy Robertson
to become Klopp's first choice left back, although the defender will hope to regain
his starting spot next season.
Klavan, meanwhile, has been a dependable back-up option in central defence this season.
The 32-year-old has made 27 appearances across all competitions and even scored a last-gasp
winning goal away at Burnley on New Year's Day.
And Jurgen Klopp remains keen to keep both at the club as he seeks to maintain the Reds'
squad depth with another Champions League campaign likely.
Liverpool need just one win from their final two Premier League games to assure themselves
of a top-four finish while they could also guarantee their place in next year's Champions
League by winning the trophy this year.
They face Roma in the second leg of their semi-final clash tonight, leading 5-2 from
the first leg, with Klavan and Moreno both likely to be on the bench with Robertson,
Virgil Van Dijk and Dejan Lovren ahead of
the pair.
