No, It's because I'm Malik and You're Mirlanda and we're M&M.
You're right, and this is
THE M&M SEGMENT!
Today we will be talking about Kezia's Disney experience.
The Social & Behavioral Science's lecture series on time.
Stay tuned for Kate's interview with the Political Science jeopardy game winner.
Malik, you know I'm a competitor right?
Right.
I was thisclose to winning the prize in the jeopardy game.
I think I want to hear more about Kezia's experience with Disney.
Let me tell you.
Kezia's a part of the Professional Enhancement Program.
She was nominated and then became the winner of the Seahawk Award.
She was the second winner to have ever been chosen outside of Student Life.
Kezia described her experiences at Disney as "Magical"
At Disney, there was training for leadership, teamwork, creativity and culture
of environment.
For the teamwork training, all the groups pretended to be a giant machine
that worked together.
What made this a great experience for Kezia was how passionate the cast member
was.
At this point they also got to be hands on.
Last but not least, Kezia also
enjoyed The Food and Wine Festival, where she got to try foods from
India, Italy, Scotland and Spain.
Overall, what Kezia experienced was happiness and something magical.
This is something that she would like to bring to the real world!
That was a good experience, instead I went to the lecture on time!
The Social & Behavioural Sciences Department began their Fall 2017 lecture series.
Their lecture on October 3rd was on American Identity over the course of time.
Their first speaker, Professor Doxwell, discussed the Reconstruction Era,
The Civil Rights Movement American pop culture and
combined all of that history and connected it to the Charlottesville incident.
The second speaker, Professor Roberto, discussed DACA, immigration
and American Identity connected to immigration and Government involvement.
Professor B also discussed his childhood, growing up as an immigrant--
and being the son of two immigrants who emigrated from their country to improve
their quality of life.
The last speaker, Dean King, marketed the pathway programs to those in attendance.
Overall, everyone in attendance was able to say that there was great outcome,
There was great participation from the audience.
And most important of all, refreshments.

Hello my name is Kate Koptenko and today we're here with the winners-
of the Political Science Group's Constitutional Jeopardy
and please tell us your name.
Sebastian I'm Joseph Wilgreen
I'd like to congratulate you on your victory again.
Good job and how did you like the game?
It was very fun, it was thrilling especially at the end--
because that competition was pretty stiff so we had to go into overtime.
Please tell us how you know the constitution so well;
is it because you're so into politics,
do you have any political experience?
Actually yes.
In highschool, I had a few very good teachers
Who helped me learn the constitution
and the United States law.
I'm a big fan of Rand Paul and Ron Paul.
I've been very interested in history all throughout my life.
So almost all countries today have constitutions.
How important do you think our constitution is for our country,
For the United States,
And tell me please, why you think so.
Well it's the foundation of our republic and all republics across the world
and at the time, no document was made like it.
So it was very unique and very original.
And a lot of other countries copied it.
Or copied parts of it at least.
The constitution is fundamentally important because
it sets up the basics for our law but not only that.
It also shows our values, it shows what we believe is morally right.
And do you think, every US citizen should take some time
to actually read and study the constitution, and from a personal experience,
I got to visit Washington DC, and got to see the real constitution
and I can say it was an amazing experience for me and so
what do you think?
I actually can say the same thing, I went this previous summer
To see the archives, to see the actual constitution
and absolutely everyone should know the constitution because
what makes a good citizen, you have to know your responsibilities.
You have to pass on those traditions of our founding fathers
and preserve the republic because tyranny is only one generation away
