What's up, guys?

Justin here for Complex News.

On Saturday night Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor met up in Las Vegas for one of the

biggest boxing matches in history.

The veteran Mayweather beat out the skilled UFC fighter but novice boxer McGregor in the

tenth round with a TKO victory.

Over 14,000 people were in attendance for the fight including celebrities such as LeBron

James, Jennifer Lopez, Diddy, and Nas.

Speaking to ESPN, Mayweather said he attempted to place a bet that he would win the fight

in 9.5 rounds.

He was turned away from making the bet.

That didn't discourage the boxer, who then gave around $400,000 to a friend to make the

bet on his behalf, though the associate was reportedly only able to bet $87,000.

Some people took to social media to point out the similarity between how Mayweather

thought the fight would go to what happened in reality.

Most chalked it up to the sheer skill and planning of Mayweather while others thought

more nefarious forces were at work.

"Mayweather tried to bet on himself winning in under 9.5 rounds and by knockout.

If he was able to, he would've won the bets.

Coincidence?"

"Also they stop it right at the moment that Mayweather would win his bet of 400k of under

9.5 rounds!!"

"BINGO!

Mayweather bet the under on 9.5 rounds.

It was called just in time.

He wanted to win his bet and still set up possible Re match.

$$$$"

Either way Mayweather made a lot of money from the fight.

Mayweather who rounded out his career to a perfect 50-0 record, reportedly walked away

with at least $200 million.

McGregor made significantly less but still brought in a considerable sum.

But the biggest bet of the evening came from someone who put $1.21 million on Mayweather,

making $242,000 in the process.

"JUST IN: Biggest bet on Mayweather has just been cashed.

Bettor bet $1.21M, netted $242,000 at @WilliamHillUS sportsbook."

In other fight related news, those of you who took your chances by illegally streaming

the fight might be in a little trouble.

Some might have noticed that their stream contained a watermark with random letters

and numbers on it.

The site TorrentFreak thinks that they were used as a type of "homing beacon" to track

illegal streams.

Reports are saying that the tracking was used specifically for those in the U.K., so streamers

based in the U.S. you can chill out as you'll most likely be fine.

About 3 million people streamed the fight through alternative means in total.

Hey, at a price tag of $100 who can blame them?

That's the news for now, but for all the latest news on Floyd Mayweather subscribe

Van Dijk, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield as Klopp looks to bolster his defensive ranks.

publicly ended their interest in the Dutch international earlier in the transfer window after being accused of 'tapping up' the former Celtic man. have reiterated that Van Dijk is going nowhere despite the player training with away from the first team.

But say Klopp is preparing to make a late swoop for him by making a last-gasp £75m offer. Klopp is also keen to get a deal over the line for France international Lemar.

The 21-year-old has been the subject of two bids from the Reds this week after they made enquires about his availability. But both offers were rejected as the Ligue 1 champions are determined for him to stay.

Liverpool transfer news: Naby Keita will move to Liverpool next year - Duration: 2:45.

Liverpool transfer news: Naby Keita will move to Liverpool next year

But the Merseyside club insist the late activity before the transfer window closes on Thursday is not linked to the future of Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho, who they say is staying at Anfield regardless of who they buy.

Barcelona, who have just signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund for £140m, are still hoping to prise the Brazilian away with sporting director Robert Fernandez saying: "It's true we are in negotiations over a player to try and sign them.

We hope to reach a deal and present a new player.". remain adamant Coutinho is not moving to the Nou Camp even if Klopp is successful in his bid for Lemar, who can play either as a central or wide midfielder.

Monaco however are understood to be reluctant to sell yet another player this summer after losing Kylian Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Timoue Bakyoko.

Arsenal are also interested in Lemar but Arsene Wenger insisted last week that his former club had told him the 21-year-old France international was not for sale.

Liverpool are bracing themselves for disappointment in their chase for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is set to join. One player who will be arriving on Merseyside is Klopp's long-term target Keita – but not until the end of the season.

Red Bull Leipzig have finally agreed to sell the Guinea international for a premium on top of his £48m release-clause figure, which kicks in next summer.

Keita had a medical at Liverpool's Melwood training complex yesterday but will return to Leipzig for the season.

The Bundesliga club rejected a £66m offer from Liverpool earlier this summer but faced losing him for £48m next summer when his release clause came into affect and have decided to maximise the fee – which could be around £70m – while giving themselves a year to find a replacement.

Their stance was also influenced by the fact Keita has set his heart on a move to Anfield. Simon Mignolet will be staying at Anfield despite being dropped from the squad for yesterday's win over Arsenal.

Napoli have shown interest but Klopp says the goalkeeper will be back in the team for the visit to after the international break.

Meanwhile, Dejan Lovren says Liverpool's front three are the best in the Premier League and will frighten the life out of defences with their pace this season.

Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and summer signing Mohamed Salah scored the first three goals in the impressive 4-0 win over Arsenal – with the fourth coming from another attacker, substitute Daniel Sturridge.

The trio have all scored three goals so far and Lovren is predicting many more.

The Croatian defender said: "They are the best. They caused Arsenal a lot of problems. I'm lucky that I don't have to face them very often in training. It tends to be the guys who aren't in the first XI.

"All three of them are top players. They have pace and great quality. It would be quite difficult for any defender when you are up against Salah, Mane and Firmino.

"It's a long season and we will see towards the end of the season who is in the first place. But you can see the difference those three players make.".

Liverpool transfer news: Virgil van Dijk next on wish list as Reds plot £183m triple swoop

LIVERPOOL are ready to spend another £135million to land Virgil van Dijk and Thomas Lemar — after making Naby Keita their club-record signing. Jurgen Klopp's £183m spree started as he agreed a £48m deal for RB Leipzig's Keita.

Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk remains Liverpools No1 target this summer.

Liverpool have agreed a club-record deal to sign Naby Keita in 2018. He had a medical yesterday and will make the move to Anfield next summer. The Reds will also pay an undisclosed premium for the Guinean midfielder.

Kop boss Klopp is set to smash the club's transfer record again with a last-gasp £75m bid for Southampton centre-back VVD and are also prepared to test Monaco's resolve with a £60m offer for  Lemar.

The French club have rejected two bids but Klopp will not be put off.

The triple swoop could pave the way for the exit of  Philippe Coutinho, who has been the subject of four rejected bids from Barcelona, yet Liverpool insist he is not for sale.

Previously, the Reds said they had dropped their interest in Van Dijk after Saints threatened to report an illegal approach to the Premier League.

Liverpool are willing to test Monacos resolve with a huge bid for Thomas Lemar.

Jurgen Klopp has been backed by the Liverpool board with plenty of funds. But Klopp is preparing a stunning late move to get his No1 target to rebuild his defence.

Van Dijk, 26, has been on Klopp's wishlist for a long time and he wants to build his defence around the Dutchman.

Southampton say he is going nowhere – but they also have a player that is training away from their first team. Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino faces a massive task to get Van Dijk back playing.

Chelsea and Arsenal have also been tracking his progress since his arrival from Celtic in 2015. They can offer the lure of a high-profile season in London before the World Cup at the end of the  campaign.

The Gunners had been interested in Lemar earlier this summer but Arsene Wenger claimed the deal was 'dead' after insisting Monaco had closed the door on further sales.

New signing Mohamed Salah continued his good start with a goal against Arsenal.   Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal: Firmino, Mane, Salah and Sturridge score as Reds smash terrible Gunners.

The Ligue 1 champions have already sold Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy to Manchester City and Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea — with teenage striker Kylian Mbappe  on the brink of joining Paris Saint-Germain.

But following Klopp's bid for Lemar, who can play centrally or out wide,  Liverpool hope to change Monaco's stance in the coming days. It is clear owners FSG are ready to bankroll the ambitious deal.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he would welcome back Philippe Coutinho after Barcelona transfer saga. Liverpool snapped up Keita yesterday and the 22-year-old will officially join the Reds in July 2018.

Keita  scored eight goals and provided eight assists to help Leipzig finish  second in the German Bundesliga last season. The deal will surpass the £35m paid in 2011 to Newcastle for  Andy Carroll.

Meanwhile, Coutinho is expected to be fit for  Brazil against Ecuador on Thursday night  despite the fact he has been sidelined for nearly a month with an apparent back injury.

The 25-year-old has not played for Liverpool so far this season after submitting a transfer request to try to force through a move to Barca.

Brazil doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said: "From a medical point of view, Philippe is in the perfect condition to play. Keep up to date with all the latest news, gossip, rumours and done deals in SunSports live transfer blog.
