Waching daily Oct 1 2018

Shortly after midnight Monday morning, we got a new posthumous music video

from XXXTentacion - this time for the track "Moonlight."

The clip is directed by JMP and sees the Florida MC, who tragically passed in June,

sitting in peace beneath an appropriately moonlit nighttime sky. The rapper looks on as

a low-key party takes place in the forest. He eventually gets up and make his way

through the crowd, taking in the festivities as he does. At one point, a girl catches X's

eye and the rapper even flashes a smile! By the end of the clip, X has returned

to the wooded outskirts, alone with just his music and headphones.

High profile X features have both been popping up and rumored to drop soon over

the past few weeks. On Friday, we finally got the highly anticipated Carter V from

Wayne which offers X on the hook to track 2 "Don't Cry."

And! If rumors are true and we finally get Kanye's 'Yandhi' - there have been stories of

an X feature there as well.

Hi everybody. Welcome to this week's video message. I've got a really great

story I'd like to share before we get any further in the little video this

morning. Renee Dills who's an occupational therapist assistant that

works at Home Health. I received an email about a really great deed that she did

for one of our patients. From what I understand, Renee was visiting with

one of our patients in their home while she was performing her duties on home

health, and she's recognized pretty quickly the patient was low on food.

The patient's on home health, so not able to get out and get more groceries.

So she took it upon herself to go home that evening, and cook the patient a big pot

of vegetable soup and also a big pot of chili. Then she delivered it to the

patient the next day. Certainly we wouldn't ask this of Renee, or any of any

of our other staff but really great gesture on her part. It shows great

service, great compassion. Thanks Renee for doing that. I'm sure you made that

patient's day, if not week and made a really big difference in their life. So

thank you again for doing that. A couple other things I want to give you an

update on. One is our flu shot vaccinations. We had expected that the supplier to

deliver those really two weeks ago at this point. They're still not in yet, so

Mary Oyler is keeping a close eye on our flu shot vaccinations, as soon as we get

those, we'll be able to set up flu shot clinics. But we don't have them in hand

yet. It's really a manufacturer's delay. We're anxiously waiting to get those

vaccinations in, so we can start to do flu shots and provide you that extra

protection. To protect your family, yourself, and also our patients. I also wanted to

comment on and provide some additional understanding for you about our employee

pharmacy benefit. As you're probably aware by now if you do receive some of

your prescription medications from our pharmacy here at the hospital, we're

having to discontinue that for a short period of time.

Our move to Meditec expanse as well as some requirements from the Missouri

Board of Pharmacy have prevented us from issuing those employee prescriptions

after December 1. So to have a clean cut off between now and December 1, I think

November 15 is about the last date we can refill an employee prescription. We do

intend and we'll work really hard to bring that benefit back,

but we've got to get this Meditec expanse product going

and off the ground, and also make sure doing everything we need to do to comply

with Missouri Board of Pharmacy regulations. We don't want to do anything

that would compromise our ability to provide medications to our patients here

in the hospital. So I apologize, it's a bad deal.

It affects a lot of you, it affects me personally so I get it.

We do want to bring that benefit back as soon as possible, there is just going to

be a little bit of time between now when we get some additional software that

we're going to need to be able to provide that service to staff going

forward. And then finally, you're gonna see some communications a little bit

later this week from Mike Gaul in IT to let you know about some additional

measures we're going to, to keep our guest network here at the hospital

secure. We've got a lot of patient information out there. One way someone

could potentially hack into our systems would be through our guest network. So,

here in a few days, IT's going to implement a process by which

you have to ask for and be prescribed a password to get onto our guest network.

We're gonna make that process as simple as possible. We're going to post

information so that you can get on the guest network if you need to, our

patients and our visitors can get on the guest network. But we do need to do some

things to secure that better, and secure our guest network better. It'll be a

small hassle but it's really if you've gone anywhere else and used a guest

network it's pretty common. So it's really a fairly common security measure

that we're gonna implement here in the coming days. So expect more information

from that in the days ahead from Mike Gaul in IT. That's all I have for you this

week. Hope your week goes great. Please let me

know if there's anything I can do for you. This is your hospital.
